LOL, I missed Sandal. Need to replay the game. Re: natures, I have a Timid Meowstic, so it works out. I'm not too concerned about the natures otherwise rn - because again, I can just get my Pickup team to get me heart scales for the nature change. Re: Wild Charge...I'm not looking forward to spending the rest of this game with only Discharge on my Physical Attacker Emolga...sighs. Might have to swap her out after all until I get there.

(firstly, thank you both for being so welcoming)

I was actually planning to EV train but then one of my mons caught Pokerus...and I may have accidentally grinded my main team to the point of no return. I kept one mon with it in my box just so I could spread it to the others I'm training, but...I'm just waiting to access the higher floors of the Dept Store at this point so I can get the EV berries. Tfw Big Miss Steak.

And I'm definitely experimenting with both Florges and Granbull in the roster now, thanks! I've barely used either anyway so far, I usually find my Trevenant is enough to tank. I actually also vastly prefer Mamoswine over Vanilluxe, but I haven't found it in the game yet. I don't think I've come across Cubchoo either, come to think of it? I've also never used a Ribombee, but I'm going to play around with that a bit now that it's been suggested.

I know you're not there yet, but don't worry about having suboptimal EV spread because of the pokerus; when you get to E16 content, you'll find EV resetting disks (for each stat) avaliable for purchase ($10000 each disk; fully resets EV on a particular stat). So you'll be able to re-train your main team to your liking.

As for Gen VII, a personal favourite of mine is Oricorio. I know it might not have the best base stats, but I love it's versatility. Being able to change freely it's type (free-ish; it costs $2000 per change IIRC) it's something quite useful.

And regarding Luna, maybe swap Meowstic for either Granbull or Florges? Other than that you're good to go!

Technically, it was like that last episode too, if you missed the event before going to Agate.

Last episode is where we got Neo-Reborn for the first time, and OP asked about stickers after the city gets fixed up. So I answered from that perspective, and not from E17.

If he said E17 on the title, that's nothing to do with me =)

  3. Which ones are you missing?

There are some that didn't change at all (like the Spinel Town teleporting girl); others are now obtainable through just talking to the person now (like the mother of the kid attacked by Drifblim and Scolipede; in Neo-Reborn, you just talk to the mum and she gives you the sticker without fighting anyone).

  4. Spoiler

That bitch tried to drown me because I arrived a little bit earlier than Titania (who was probably just looking at some flowers at the side of the road) and misread the whole situation.

I could've dealt with her anger, cursing, a little shove, getting punched on the face, getting my eye gouged out (maybe not?). But attempted murder is where I draw the line.

By the way, how do you play the Zekrom route? Do you just choose to fight Taka in WTP, or are there other choices involved?

  5. Spoiler

Sheer Force Darmanitan (@Expert belt) and Technician Breloom (@Black belt) did the job for me, up to Aegislash... for the life of me, I still can't understand how or when it switches forms and it's vulnerable to attacks, or what's it's deal. Still managed to power through in my first try, though.

For the fairy tale field, there is no way to destroy it. However, you can override it with another field, like grassy terrain, eletric terrain, etc...

Tip for gym: Choice specs flamethrower nidoking would do just fine :D Or you can just use some tanky water mons. Defense is the best offense in this game!

    Spoiler

Where did you get the choice specs, if you don't mind me asking?

  6. Spoiler

So, i tried a bunch of things vs Amaria (both singles and doubles) and she kept wiping my team. BAD.

Finally decided to change strats, and went with:

    Toxapex (Elemental Seed)

    - Sludge wave (change water surface into murkwater surface)

    - Poison jab

    - Baneful Bunker

    - Liquidation (never used in battle)

Soooo, i ended up 1v6 Amaria in singles, ending with a full hp Toxapex (1-2 ultra potions used, tops).

First two turns, Rotom sets Reflect + Light screen (and I use those two turns for sludge wave x2 --> murkwater surface) and then he Volt Switches to Swampert, who oddly enough, spammed Dive (killing himself with murkwater surface x4 damage).

Thing is, before i used Toxapex, in some of the previous battles Amaria used Whirpool... but now, with a murkwater surface, she didn't. I'm not sure if that was in singles or in doubles, but if in singles she has someone with Whirpool in the moveset, then the AI had some pretty weird move choices.

  7. Spoiler

Same thing happened to me with Primarina and Primarium-Z (can't equip it, even though she knows Sparkling Aria)

Then i did some research, and it seems we need to find a Z-ring or something, in order to use Z-moves? I haven't played gen VI nor VII.

    Heya everyone,

So I'm still swamped in work however I try to play Reborn time to time.

I've currently "cleared" E17 aside from a few sidequests.

Ill be handling some requests if I can and otherwise I'll just be throwing up whatever duplicates I have.

So for now, I have a bunch of Flabébe (shiny and otherwise) to give away.

I will also be breeding quite a few Mimikyu as we speak. Another thing I'll be willing to offer is certain TM's taught to pokemon. So just check out what I have to offer atm

    Offers:

    Gible x 7

    Tangela x 6

    Flabebe x 10

Rotom x 6 (can make them certain forms if you want)

    Snorunt x 3

    2 5 IV Rowlet.

Mimikyu X 22 (Most are 4/5 IV) One of them is Shiny.

    Ditto ( 5 IV) x 2

thats it for now pokemon wise.

I pretty much have all the TM's that the game currently has to offer.

    So please check this list:

To see what TM's I can teach you.

i'd love one of those dittos... but dunno exactly what you're looking for in exchange

I'm EV training for the first time, can anyone please explain to me how exactly pokerus works? I know how it affects EV-training, but how do I obtain it? and how do I spread it?

Catching wild pokemon or breeding has a slight chance of getting a pokemon with pokerus. When a pokemon with pokerus gains experience in battle (thus, earning the respective EV's), the virus doubles the TOTAL EV gain from that battle.

i.e; battle a Woobat with Power Anklet equipped on your pokemon ---> 1 Speed EV from Woobat + 4 Speed EV from Anklet = 5 Speed EV ---> (5 Speed EV x 2) = 10 Speed EV from a single Woobat battle!

    or

battle a Squirtle with Power Anklet equipped on your pokemon ---> 1 Defense EV from Squirtle + 4 Speed EV from Anklet  ---> (1 Defense EV x 2) + (4 Speed EV x 2) = 2 Defense EV and 8 Speed EV from a single Squirtle battle.

As for getting pokerus, the best way would be asking someone in the Online Play section of the forums to trade you a crappy pokemon with the active virus (so you can spread it).

Pokerus spreads (chance) from an infected pokemon in your party to your other pokemon, every time you win a battle (there's no need for the infected one to participate at all; just being in your party is enough).

Infected pokemon IN YOUR PARTY, over time, will be "cured" and no longer spread the virus (but they'll still receive double EV even if they can't spread pokerus). This doesn't happen to infected pokemon in a PC box (the virus will remain forever active while it's stored in your PC), So my advice would be to spread your pokerus to 2-3 crappy pokemon that you'll never use (Rattata, Bidoof, etc) and store them in your PC, only taking them out when you need to spread pokerus to other pokemon. If one of those become "cured", just capture a new crappy one and infect it. Replace, rinse and repeat.
