Also for future reference, since this is one the first search results when searching the Crests effects, here is some details that the Gheist's post didn't have and I searched on Discord:

    - Claydol: Merges its defense and special attack stat to be the same. It should also boost Beam-type attacks, allowing it to use Hyper Beam without recharge and Solar Beam without a charge turn. Does it boosts those moves damage?

    - Spiritomb: For each of your pokemon on your party fainted, the Spiritomb gets a boost of 30% on its Atk and SpA. And for each of the opponents Pokemon fainted it gainds the benefit of a Leftovers (recover 1/16th total HP end of turn). At max, with 5 of yours and 5 opponets pokemons fainted, it should have +150 on its Atk and SpA and recover 5/16 of its health. Also someone mentioned it also affected by the faints of your ally on double battles. I have no idea if there is some cap on the bonuses.

    - Fearow: Increases critical hit ratio by 3 stages but only works if the target is less 75% health. Does anyone knows if this procs at exactly 75% health remaining?

    - Seviper: Causes Seviper to hit harder against healthier foes and speed increased by 1.5x. Someone mentioned that the damage boost on a healthier foe is +50%, but I don't know how it scales. Does it calculated as Crest Damage = Normal Damage * 1,5 * (Target's Current HP / Target's Maximum HP) or is Crest Damage = Normal Damage * (1 + 0,5 * (Target's Current HP / Target's Maximum HP))?

Also the Ariados, Dusknoir, Cofagrigus and Relicanth crests should multiply the end stats, already including the EVs, IVs and nature, and not the base stats as the text says.

For the Claydol I have been told that beam moves are boosted by 50%. When I tested this the amount leaned less, perhaps around 30% boost. I also noticed that using Cosmic power also increases Special attack by one stage, this is because special attack is the same as defence so any increase in defence gives the same incease in Special attack. A Bold natured Claydol with max Evs in defence boosted by a couple of cosmic powered is unstoppable.

I remember someone on Discord talking about the Typhlosion Crest giving it something like Parental Bond (the Mega Kangaskhan ability). Probably that's why there is a second hit that is doing only a quater of the orginal damage. Maybe the fire damage only applies to the second hit? Probabaly is easier to test on a Grass-type, the first hit should be not very effective and do some damage, while the second should be neutral and do about half of the first hit.

Tried it on a Graveller with sturdy, both hits were super effective, so no sign of fire typing.

It appears that Typhlosion can learn slash and burn which is a custom grass TM physical move with base 90. It seems that it does not gain additional fire typing as I have tested it on water types and is still super effective. Could be very useful against rock and water types that Typhlosion can outspeed particularly those with a 4x weakness to grass. Admittedly even a boosted STAB eruption is mighty even when resisted.

I have been testing out the Typhlosion Crest on the Gearen Audino trainer. Using slash and burn without the crest deals just over  a quarter damage, rock slide about one quarter. With the crest, slash and burn does around half damage and somewhat strangely there is a second hit that does about one eight damage. Rock slide goes from one quarter damage to half damage with the crest. When using the Crested slash and burn on water Pokemon the move is still described as super effective so I don't think secondary fire typing applies.

I thought the same until I used it. The issue I ran into is that its coverage moves usually weren't powerful enough to OHKO and are only better than Eruption vs. thing that will KO it back anyway (Rock or Water types). So I usually ended up going back to Charcoal to secure KOs.

Also, the Beheeyem Crest always disables if the attacker isn't already disabled (that or I was playing pokemon when I should've been buying lottery tickets) and it's a massive 33% damage reduction. That's the equivalent of having an Eviolite, which makes Beheeyem bulkier than Toxapex, and with significantly better offenses

In addition to above, I got a Typhosion Crest for doing the E4 Virtual Quest, after all 8 badges.

Typhlosion Crest - Atk scales with SpAtk, and contact moves do additional fire damage.

What does attack scales with special attack actually mean? I read it as your attack stat is the same as your special attack.

There's boards all over the city that change the weather. Find one, change the weather to "Windy", then go back to that building.

I changed the weather to windy, went back to the building and the TM is still firmly fixed to the roof.

  7. Best place for attack IV's is Bouffalant on Route 1 (2 att). Tauros give 1 in attack and one in speed. No wild Pokemon to get in the way, just keep popping back to the nature reserve to reset. If you are near the end of the game then Alolan Exeggutor give 2 pts in the Desert.

  8. In the new update there is a Pokemon egg that appears abandoned, but is in fact not. The player defeats the parents to obtain the egg. When this happened I felt terrible for the parents. Is there any way I can make it up to them, perhaps breed another egg and return it? It would be great if you could because I'm not sure I can live with the guilt.

It's hard to see, but Future Sight shows a different window broken than the one that you broke before.

It seems to me the 'future sight vision' could do with being shown for a little longer. Or maybe have the option to keep it shown until the player clicks off it. Especially for the slow witted like me.

Espeon's Future Sight can give you a clue.

Also, it seems like those rooms where you get the Eeveelutions look pretty small compared to the outer structure, wouldn't you say?

What do you mean 'future sight gives you a clue'? I've clicked on every pile of glass (made them go deep purple), used the arrow keys in every possible direction on every single glass pile and none of them move. Perhaps I should go out and buy a sledgehammer.

  11. I was exploring the Mirage Tower and found the Dragonium Z crystal in the pot adjacent to the lemonade seller Marcello. Later on I returned to Marcello with an Alolan Exeggutor in my party and this time there is an offer to purchase blue moon lemonade for 1000000. Of course the max money a player can acquire is 999999, so the item cannot be purchased. So I was wondering if anyone has been able to obtain the blue moon lemonade and if so what does it do? Interestingly the description of the blue moon lemonade is that is that it restores the hp of a Pokemon by 103 points. 103 happens to be the number of exeggutor in the Pokedex. Marcello, I believe, is also one of the game's creators.

  12. For those of you twiddling their thumbs I have come with a point scoring challenge mode for Reborn. Certain battles are designated as point scoring. Gym battles, rival battles and so forth. The idea is that the lower the players Pokemon are in terms of level the more points are scored. penalty points are incurred for Pokemon faints and usage of healing items. I have posted a link to the first episode on my  Youtube Chanel.

Or if you are not at the point where the city is renovated: after going under the grand stairway (you only have to trigger the first cutscene) you have to go to the heliolisk rooftop on a clear night

I went up there as you have described and Corey was up there and promptly jumped off the roof. Does this trigger a hide and seek with Corey at this stage of the game?

  14. Reborn and Rejuvenation are designed to be challenging. Trying to defeat the gym leaders who are armed with high powered moves with mediocre Pokemon and moves is part of that challenge. A player has to be innovate and intelligent. Dishing out decent moves to a player early on takes away a lot of the difficulty.

Oh I love your custom moves.

  15. Hi guys hoping you can help. I am at the point in the game where you are in the generator room in Xen base. As soon as I encounter the Volcanion the game crashes. I found this problem in the forums and the fix is to implement the patch (v10). I am a Mac user so the only way I can apply the patch (as far as I know) is to replace all the files in my game files with those in the patch, which I have done. However the game still crashes at the same point. The only problem I can see is that I am saved in the generator room and am trapped in there and cannot return to a Poke Centre to apply the patch. My Rxdata file is attached.

Pretty sure the switch reference makes no sense, since the name of the game is voltorb flip.

    My score was 13.

You are quite right, I made a mistake on that one.

Although a switch is another electrical reference.
