Try this, it's Free to read online, updates every Tuesday and Saturday, and is the single best piece of fantasy fiction i've ever read.

    The Wandering Inn.

I've tried it and haven't stop reading for the last 4 hours.

Thank you very much for this recommendation.

I'm not sure if megas are automatically excluded from dexsearches but if they're not you might want to switch def<=85 to atk<=85 to exclude mega mawile 🙂

Megas are included, however mega mawile has 125 def, so it is already excluded with def<=85

I'm very unclear on what priority and recovery mean. Could you please elaborate?

I'm not entirely sure, but priority seems to mean any Pokemon that has a increased priority move (like quick attack) and recovery a move that heals (like absorb and rest).

319 Pokemon have the recovery tag and 366 have the priority tag: they are not very useful to narrow  down the options.

  3. i have had the same problem with an enemy shelmet that didn't do anything after using  yawn, it did use acid armor twice before that.

it is in the battle in the mosswater factory in the periot ward against meteor grunt Sanchez. his next pokemon acted normal again.

    version 17.0.2

  4. I have had the same problem fighting against Julia

My lvl 25 Kricketune 3th consecutive fury cutter OHKO'ed Oricorio. After that Julia pulled out graveler and immediately switched him out for an voltorb (i think).

This happened twice, afterwards geodude stayed in. After Geodude fainted Electrode came in.

Something similar happened with another trainer, when i had another Pokemon out ( i don't really remember the fight). I do remember that in this case I also one-shotted the switch-in and the pokemon that was switched out. (So A fainted, B was pulled out, B was switched for C and OHKO'ed, B was pulled out, B was OHKO'ed).

My guess is that the initial choice is what the AI thinks as the best option. Than in it's turn notices that it most likely will be OHKO'ed so chooses to switch out.

Feraligator dragon dance is only through eggmoves and i'm not sure or 1. it works in all version of pokemon (and reborn) and 2. i believe only dratini line can breed and give feraligator the dragon dance move (which is not available), though that might be wrong ofcourse.

Anyways, i wouldnt say view dragondance feraligator v

Feraligator dragon dance is only through eggmoves, but you can get it from horsea. However since it is not possible to breed for a while after reaching the horsea location, Feraligator dragon dance becomes available at the start of ep 16 content. So indead not a 'starter' pokemon in that contex.

It's still very strong without dragon dance though.

So if you were committed to breeding a high-IV eevee, and you were lucky enough that this offspring-eevee in the above example was a female, you would then want to replace the mother with this new eevee

This indeed helps a lot with with getting a better iv Pokemon. be careful with passing on moves this way, since the first few levels are gained really fast and moves are overwritten in the daycare.

when a Pokemon gains a level in the daycare and can learn a move, it will. the move at the top will be unlearned and the new move will be placed at the bottom (A,B,C,D-->B,C,D,E).

there are two things to note here though:

    1) Pokemon do not evolve in the daycare, level them up once more after to trigger the evolution.

    2) moves get updated after retrieving the Pokemon, so they still pass on the moves they have when you put them in the daycare, not the ones they learned in the meantime, even if the originals are overwritten.

That is of course until you take it out and put it back in.

Having a Pokemon with magma armor or flame body in your party (does not need to be in the first spot) indeed halves the time the hatch it (progress in hatching is doubled).

  7. let's say that your Eevee has 10 in all iv's and Bidoof 31 in all 6 of them.

Eevee is holding an destiny knot and Bidoof and power anklet.

The destiny knot ensures that 5 Iv's are inherited from the parents and 1 is random form 0 to 31.

the power anklet ensures that Bidoof passes on its speed iv, so only 4 remain

those 4 can all be from Eevee, all from Bidoof or a mixture of the two.

A possible result could be :

    hp: 31 (from Bidoof)

    att: 10 (from Eevee)

    def:10 (from Eevee)

    s att:10 (from Eevee)

s def: 28 (the random one)

    spd: 31 (power anklet,from Bidoof)

I often find it more beneficial to use two different power items than a destiny knot, especially if i really only care about two stats (like hp and def or att and spd)

  8. During battle (imposter) ditto gets the hidden power typing of its opponent, rather than keeping it's own

    tested with my psychic ditto

clown Indra: mienshao hidden power becomes ice

clown Indra: lilligant hidden power becomes fire

Battle Casanova Zach & Lady Beau : venusaur hidden power becomes fire

  9. Impster diito (no held item) always get to act first (30 tries).

Because the stats are copied a speed tie should occur.

In a speed tie the followorder should be random

If the opponent has choice scarf (clown Indra's waillord), that pokemon correctly gets to move first.

I’m going to guess that ame makes us choose between a Ferrothorn and a scizor for now:
partly because she is mean like that and partly because everybody else puts in ether of them in their list.

The dratini nest has been on the map for a while now, I’m pretty sure it's behind this:

    Spoiler

If we are getting a dratini, than a tyranitar is not that weird, especially considering the desert.

Edit: we probably  aren't getting rock climb until after the rock gym, so no dratini yet. and quite possibly also no hydreigon yet. oh well no shiny for me.

  11. This bug occurred in the double battle of the repeatable trainers on Saturday in the main hall.

My hawlucha used sky drop on the last standing Pokemon, but my Sceptile moved first and KO'ed the pokemon.

i got the message: hawlucha used sky drop and the error message below after clicking on ok the battle continued.

Next turn the opponent took out togekiss. i only got to pick the move for my Sceptile.

i again got the hawlucha used sky drop and immediately after the message:

togekiss is freed form sky drop and it did damage (about burn level of damage).

just to verify I tried using sky drop a second time on togekiss, but this time it acted like it should (doing no damage).

This bug happens consistently (3/3 tries)

i guess that the hit is calculated on the first turn of sky drop and the damage on the second one.

    Hope this helps.
