  1. Except what good are backups when all the backups become corrupted as well? Why isn't it possible to open the file with an RPG maker application (or a dedicated recovery app), copy the information that isn't corrupted to a blank file, and fill in / fix the corrupted data. Or why can't the file be built by copying over data that corresponds to the positioning of that file (just beat 11th leader) and adding in the specific mons / character name manually. Obligatory magnet powder joke here. I don't care about the details, I just want to be able to play the game from the 11
  2. That is the backup. I had five backups, all display the same error as the original file. That is why I posted here, to get the file fixed.
  3. The file you returned works, but it was never broken to begin with. I posted the wrong file initially. The file that needs fixing isn't at devon. The file that has the error messages and that needs fixing is this one. 579 - Kaiya - 29h 50m - 11 badges.rxdata
  4. Yes the file placed there is named Game. I have tested this on two different computers with two different operating systems and the file that was provided in response to my original post is 15 badges deep, not the 11 badge file I needed fixing. I am sorry for the confusion, the file that needs fixing is attached to my last post "579 - Kaiya..." When named to game and placed in Saved Games>Pokemon Reborn folder it has the problem I initially posted: "incompatible marshal file format (can't be read)... format version 4.8 required; 0.0 given". Is it possible to fix this? It is a pr
  5. Something is still not right. When I place that file under [username]>Saved Games>Pokemon Reborn the wrong file is being loaded into the game. When that location is empty, there is no save loaded. When it has nothing but that file, it loads an older file I have at Devon Corp. Either I posted the wrong file or my game is reading the older file for some reason. The game should have 11 badges, Alice as the character, and a squad with non-shiny Metagross. Here is the backup file which should be correct but has the same issue described before. 579 - Kaiya - 29h 50m - 11 badges.
  6. Computer crashed and now I get several error windows when trying to run the game. I saved a backup file beforehand on a mobile drive but that one has the same problem. "incompatible marshal file format (can't be read)... format version 4.8 required; 0.0 given" running on the same computer as when it worked, file name hasn't been changed Game.rxdata
