  1. i played a game as aatrox jungle last night and the top laner after the game added me by saying he wanted the only good aatrox in na on his friend list

  2. Some people argue that Fox has many more options when presented with a situation than Falco, Marth, and Sheik. Consider his ability to shorten side-B in recovery, giving him 4 movement options out of 1 move; his extended up B recovery providing him with what some say to be 352 angles; and his fastfalling nature, which combined with very different short and full hop heights gives him many different approach options.

I personally think Fox could merit his own tier for these reasons and more in-game aspects, but there are some realistic factors that drag him down.

    - Humans simply can't consider all of his options at once

    - Having a huge amount of options only enables players to take the best ones, not to mix things up, as players who main characters with limited options (i.e. Falcon) must

    - Much of Fox's inputs are frame-perfect or near frame-perfect (shortening side B, waveshining, invincible ledge-dashing)

    - Fox's learning curve is profoundly steep, as low-tech Fox mains are comboed to death easily by Sheik and Marth, and flubbed inputs can often lead to SDs (ledge dashing especially)

one thing to note also is that fox's laser ultimately ends up controlling the neutral in most of his matchups, and it's especially potent in marth matchups where marth has a harder time dealing with projectiles than sheik and falco do

  3. [Huge wall of text]

Thanks for the insights. I'm pretty excited for him conceptually because the current meta doesn't contain any support junglers (it hasn't ever, really) and I can't wait to see what kind of effect this has on the game in its current state.

One thing I saw online while watching Youtube videos was Ivern running Rabadon's and Nashor's. I didn't watch the video, any thoughts on how good or bad this is? (I think the video header went to call this the most optimal build, but I like the one you presented here a bit more since I think it plays more to the strengths you listed).

I thought I was looking forward to Kata's rework - then I remembered the terrors of every other big class update, and how they're ALWAYS op for a couple patches, and now I'm scared I'll never play Kata for a while.

That's how I felt for a while about most of Riot's reworks, but with the unrework of Kog'Maw and a pretty okay rework from Yorick, I have a little more faith in Riot not to totally butcher it. They're being more careful.
