"Its because of toxic masculinity! Men need to be allowed to let their pent up emotions out! When they get stressed out and can't think clearly they don't respond as well as they could've!" - Amethyst
...is what my guess would be that is subconsciously going on for Ame. The females aren't flawless, but their "weaknesses" seem to affect more inward than outward. Titania's self loathing, Florinia's stoicism, Serra's midlife crisis, Shelly's withdrawal, Luna's eternal tea party. In contrast to Cal lashing out at others, Bennett over-eager to prove his own desirability, Corey's Skydiving, Sigmund spreading his pain, Radomus being cryptic. -

I've seen many other indie creators that are based in US, and require a non-studio environment to work also tag numbers around that as the baseline for them to devote themselves to work on their projects full time. Maybe its a US economics thing that allow them to get by with those numbers?

Reborn has been a community established waaaaay before the Reborn games was a thing. You would be surprised how many vets haven't even finished the game.

Well then, so much for bridging the rift. (・ิ_・ิ)What would you say, if any, is the biggest difference between the forums back then and now?
And should I even be asking these here? or am I polluting the introduction thread? -
Can... can we have a
in depthbrief description of how our Senpais first got into the community? Does everyone have ties to the game or are you here for something else? How big of a part does this play in your life?Is anyone going to stand up to the ongoing Budew genocide Amethyst is spearheading?- 1

BGM
in Reborn City
When you press F1 while the game window is selected, do you have both BGM and BGS selected?
Is your volume under options toggled to 100?

Set up a camp at the top of the grand gate.
I'm not even kidding, neighbor count will be low, the view is going to be fantastic. Having that connecting line towards multiple cities is that much more convenient. Ametrine would have been a choice if I was did not have a x4 weakness to the cold.

Would you prefer to do this with your personally trained team? Or would you like some traded mons as help?
-
It kind of seems like a Weavile would have a field day on your team...
Gardevoir - Physical stab
Goodra - Physical Ice stab
Sylveon - Poison Jab? (Probably the weakest part and your best counter in here)
Greninja - Glass-cannon face off, but Weavile is slightly faster.
Noivern - Ice stab
Gengar - Physical dark stab

I can get to Chandelure but it has Energy ball to take out Swampert. The only one that can counter it is Charizard but its Shadowball hits hard.
Do you still have Endeavor on your Slurpuff? Maybe you could bring it down low enough after taking a hit, then revenge killing it.
Or you could buy a cotton candy and use Vulpix as switch bait to revive Charizard, giving you an extra turn to knockout Chandelure.
-
Could you tell us what are his pokémon that gives you the most trouble? Without knowing what your sets and spreads are:
Gengar - MagnetonTrevenant - Charizard
Rotom - Swampert
Banette -
Doublade - Charizard
Chandelure - Swampert

Does anyone know what the first prize for the lottery corner? Was the exp share removed from the list of prizes?
1-???
2-PP up
3-Max Revive
4-Full Restore
And why are only four digits are used for the lottery draw, did Ame think that five matching numbers was too rare to bother?
-
I believe it has more to to with Cain's Nidoking being weak rather than Electivire being bulky. Even on other mons, poison tail stab hits doesn't seem to be hitting as hard as it should.

Which Gym leader do you dislike the most? Personality wise.
If you actually had to live in the reborn region, where would you pick as your house/camp? Does not have to be a town, i.e you could camp out in the Wasteland if you want.

Is The Biggest, Most Awful, Most Tragic Event in Human History real or is it just a ploy to trap the students in Hope's Peak Academy Ultimate Despair Game?Who
is your waifuwould you pick from the reborn cast as your soulmate. -
I won't be able to join unless the signups are still open in august...
Guess I'll be sitting this one out. -
Iirc waterfall should have been given to you before you fight Blake at the top of Ametrine mountain, you may want to ask for help in the troubleshooting section if you still don't have it after beating Terrawr.

I wonder if she will get a Cobalion or Heatran, without the speedier steel types it feels like Titania would be VERY vulnerable to getting setup and swept.

Let me put it this in a way you can understand. I've been in the Reborn Community for 4 years and Ame has been working on the game for I think 5 years now. Might be 6. Do you honestly think she's going to quit after all that time when there's only one more year of development left? Maybe a bit longer but still, you get the idea. There's a dev blog which she updates every centurary if you ever want to keep track.
There's a thing I've been wondering ever since I started lurking the dev blog... reborn has been in development for 5~ years, and a total of 16 episodes have been released, that averages out at 3~ episodes per year. I only started following since E15 and E16 took like around 9 months? That is like double the average time for the past episodes, E17 seems like its going to be around that length as well.
Does the newer episodes take a longer time because of the release of a new gen? Or did I mess up the math somewhere... -

I guess this is a rather unpopular opinion... but I'd prefer if the legendaries have no connection to Team Meteor at all, I don't like the idea of having the antagonist just power creeping to be behind whatever legendary event just so they can act as a plot device.
I think it would be great if it did a similar thing to Mystery Dungeon where the legendaries are doing their own thing because there isn't many trainers around who can actually capture and train one. -

I think part of the reason side quest has been increasingly ignored is that with the way pokémon works, past level 50~ most mons reach their peak of strength. Unlike the beginning of the game where doing side quest allows one to get stronger mons at low levels, if you have something that works once, it will almost always pull you through on every other major battle, making the casual player not bothering to do the side quest since the reward is not as crucial.
Personal preference. Since side quest are an optional thing, I would like it if side quest was used to give a bit more flavor to the character cast. I know Ame plans to leave those stuff as post-game material, but having character interaction pushed as the last segment of a game seems a tad bit wasteful, as the interactions are suppose to be what draws us to like to characters and care enough to bother to get their content. It'd be nice if we could get to know more about them through optional side quests, players wanting more content will get to know the cast better, casuals will get to progress without having to bother with stuff they don't care about.Slightly unreasonable I understand, having to plan for this type of story telling would probably murder the development time.
