    Hey there, Poe here with another RMT. In this one, I'm kinda sorta getting out of my comfort zone a little, so pardon me if, y'know, this team is bad.

    So, this team, like a lot of my others. Started off with me browsing the internet while bored. I decided to look up offensive and defensive cores for the lulz and this one just sorta resonated with me, to be honest. Probably because Gengar is just one of my favorite Pokemon ever, but still. These three are my primary offensive core.

    While a core is all fine and dandy, it does need back up. I knew pretty quickly these guys would need someone who could perform amazingly in sand. Garchomp fits that role rather well and provides a second source of Physical damage for the team.

    Once the basic team took shape, I knew I'd need something to try and counter rain, seeing as that would be one of my biggest threats. Starmie's role here is to take some water and ice hits for the fellas before Tyranitar can come back out and whip up a sandstorm again.

    For the sixth slot, I really had no idea what to put on the team. So, I figured I'd go with Ditto, who is always an amazing filler. People love to set up and Ditto loves to take those set ups and throw them back. With the addition of the little pink ball of goo, the team was finally done.


    Now For the Fun Part

    Trait: Levitate

    EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd

    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    - Pain Split

    - Substitute

    - Shadow Ball

    - Focus Blast


    Good old Gengar. He's been with me since I started playing Pokemon Online and he is almost always a major player on my team. This variation is no different from his predecessors. With Subsplit, he can take a couple hits and restore his health while dealing quite a lot of indirect damage to the opponent. Shadow Ball is there for a lovely bit of STAB and Focus Miss is to deal with bothersome Dark and Steel types.

    Following Gengar is my weather-setter, Tyranitar. I've seen a lot of good come from delayed weather and this team seems to benefit from it, too. I'm gonna be honest with you all, this was my first time using Tyranitar, so I just went with what seemed like a basic set. Stone Edge for STAB, Pursuit to catch an unlucky Ghost on the switch, Fire Punch to hit Steel and Grass, and Aqua Tail to hit those pesky Rock and Ground types.

    Magnezone, what can I say about you that hasn't be said? You are the ultimate trapper for those stalling Steels like Skarmory and Ferrothorn. Twave to spread some paralysis to my opponent's faster Pokemon, Tbolt and Flash Cannon for some powerful STAB moves, and HP Fire for the fairly obvious reason.

    Ditto is well. A Ditto. His purpose is exactly what you'd expect. Someone throws out something powerful or manages to set up on me, and Ditto steals it. I can already hear people saying why not use Scarf over Sash. To be honest, I like using Sash because it gives me access to all of my opponent's moves rather than one and I typically have a 50/50 shot at winning the speed tie anyway.

    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    - Outrage

    - Earthquake

    - Fire Fang

    - Dual Chop


    Garchomp is sorta like Tyranitar. I know I need him to make this team work, but I've never really used him before. This set is half what I assumed a basic Garchomp set would be and half me throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. Outrage for the typical Dragon STAB, EQ for the typical Ground STAB, Fire Fang for Steel types with an Air Balloon or Grass types who'd like to try and ruin my day. Dual Chop is basically filler.

    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

    - Scald

    - Psychic

    - Toxic


    And finally we get to Starmie, my rain counter. Thunder is there just for the purpose of abusing potential rain and hitting hard, Scald and Psychic are decent STAB moves that work well, plus Scald's chance of burn can shut down a potential physical sweep. Toxic is there just to sorta, y'know, poison people that a burn wouldn't bother.

    Heyo, everybody, Poe's back with another theme team 'cause they're just so much fun to make. This one is based off legendary warriors or warriors from mythology. so, buckle up 'cause this is gonna be fun.

    - Drain Punch

    - Psycho Cut

    - Night Slash

    Heading off the team is the ever amazing King Arthur Pendragon, represented here as Gallade. Most known for his use of the blade Excalibur, the moves Psycho Cut and Night Slash both allude to that while providing nice coverage. For when he loses his blade, the mighty king has Drain Punch to deal some harsh damage when boosted by Bulk Up.

    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

    - Iron Head

    - Swords Dance

    - Aerial Ace

    Not gonna lie, I'm not do sure on this set but it looks like it'll be fun. This is Cu Chulainn the Escavalier. Cu Chulainn was known for wielding the spear Gae Bolg, represented by Megahorn which I've always imagined as Escavalier running the target through with one of his spears. Iron Head and Aerial Ace are there to offer some coverage and Swords Dance to pump up his offensive power. Razor Claw because I wasn't sure what item to put and the extra crit chance would be nice.

    EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef

    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)

    - Muddy Water

    - Earth Power

    - Grass Knot

    - Scald

    And here's the toad master Jiraiya. He's ready to make a splash with Muddy Water (a little throwback to Gen 3 because no one really uses Muddy Water any more) and Scald is there to provide Burn support. Earth Power is for additional STAB and Grass Knot is there to mess with people who think they can switch in another water type to take his hits.

    Alright, seems like the sprite didn't want to work, but this is Joan of Arc the Lilligant. She may seem lady-like, but she'll gladly dish out some damage. Quiver Dance to increase her damage and speed with Giga Drain for nice STAB and HP Ice to deal with Gliscor and Dragons. Toxic is there for a bit of residual damage. Sash so I can get off a QD.

    Say hello to Odysseus. He wins his battles through trickery, deceit, and being an all around sneaky

    fellow. Granted, the opponent will assume something is up once he Calm Minds, but by then it'll be too late and he'll be ready to hit them with Night Daze, Flamethrower, or if the situation is too dire, he'll call upon the power of the Gods to launch a mighty Hyper Beam.

    - Dragon Claw

    - Cotton Guard

    - Aerial Ace

    Rounding off the team is Sigurd the Altaria. In Norse Mythology, Sigurd was a Dragon Slayer that could talk to birds. Altaria seemed like the natural choice. With DD and Cotton Guard he can outspeed opponents and take their hits and Dragon Claw and Aerial Ace provide amazing STAB.

    Cyrus, what isn't there to say about you? You were one of the reasons I kept coming back to Reborn early on. You're an all around amazing guy who is drawn like a magnet to the weird part of Youtube. Plus, that Bioshock reference in your signature nets you even more respect from me.

    Kaito, Oysterman, Erica... What can't I say about you? Hell, I could fill up mentioning all the times you've made incredibly unfortunate word choices. You're an amazing guy, though, and I'm really glad I'm a part of your clan. It was thanks to you and SU that I made some really amazing friends, so thanks for that.     I'm first again :)

    Phoenix, I don't really know what to say. You're a really awesome guy and arguably one of the best auth on Reborn. I feel like if we talked more we'd be pretty close friends, but for whatever reason we've never really spoken beyond the typical pleasantries.
