  1. I would yes, if I knew how to change to a different save file which I do not

You don't? Just make a backup of your current save file (Should be "game.rxdata", folder should be "Saved Games"), put it in a different folder and hit "New Game". :P

Anyway, I will probably restart the game.. and do another run, and record it again, and write descriptions.. and.. oh, I don't wanna, urgh.

  2. any reason for this? if there was a way to know this before >.>

when can can iget back to reborn city?

is there any move teacher reachable?

Yes, there are a few move tutors that will teach your Pokèmon moves in exchange for shards. And because I'm nice today, I'll even tell you the moves. Though, you could probably just look it up yourself, whatever. Yada, yada..

Move tutor 1: - Sky Attack

    - Uproar

    - Last Resort

    - Shockwave

    - Bounce

    - Drill Run

    Move tutor 2: - Endeavor

    - Dual Chop

    - Iron Tail

    - Pain Split

    - Focus Punch

    - Icy Wind

    - Bug Bite

Move tutor 3: - Fire Pledge

    - Water Pledge

    - Grass Pledge

That's it, I believe. There's also the guy that re-teaches moves in exchange for one Heart Scale.

  3. Go to the Lapis Ward and ask either Archer or Maxwell for their help, depending on which gang you joined in that little side quest. After that, they'll gladly grant you access to the 7th Street. Well, and once you're there.. ah, no, I won't spoil anything. It's a series of events and at the end of it, you will find a familiar face. Though, it's probably not one of those people that you like.

  4. It's hard to give you good advice, since you've just began your journey. But I'd suggest that you go get a Trubbish since it gets Toxic Spikes early on. (Lvl 7) With this, you have it easy against.. probably the first two Gym Leaders as long as the rest of the team can hold it's own.

On another note: I don't think your thread belongs here in this sub-forum, since it's for discussions about the canon Pokémon games. (At least I assume that you are talking about Reborn. If you don't, then I said nothing.) :P

Try this one next time if you need advice: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showforum=39

  5. Well, I'm pretty sure you beat him by now, but I'll try to tell you about my battle with him. First off, my team consisted of those Pokémon:

    - Krookodile Lv. 49; Moveset: Beat Up, Dig, Sandstorm, Shadow Claw

    - Gardevoir Lv. 44; Moveset: Draining Kiss, Psychic, Charge Beam, Calm Mind

    - Blaziken Lv. 49; Moveset: Rock Smash, Blaze Kick, Bulk Up, Shadow Claw

    - Magneton Lv. 51; Moveset: Discharge, Thunder Wave, Tri Attack, Flash Cannon

    - Iksbat Lv. 50; Moveset: (Don't quote me on it.) Poison Fang, Acrobatics, Confuse Ray, Bite

    - Along with a Yamask that was used as a placeholder and to beat Solaris on Pyrous Mountain

Turn 1: Sirius sends out Chandelure! I lead with Magneton. I switch to Yamask.

Turn 2: Chandelure uses Heat Wave on Yamask and OHKO's it.

Turn 3: I sent out Krookodile, using Beat Up on the Chandelure, which ends up fainting.

Turn 4: Sirius sends out Hitmontop! I switch to Gardevoir. Gardevoir traces Intimidate and reduces the foe Hitmontop's attack by one stage.

Turn 5: Hitmontop uses Fake Out, Gardevoir flinched.

Turn 6: Gardevoir uses Draining Kiss, reducing the HP to about 50%-ish. The Hitmontop retaliates with High Jump Kick and doesn't deal any significant damage.

Turn 7: Gardevoir gets a Calm Mind off, Hitmontop continues to struggle with High Jump Kick, dealing no damage at all.

Turn 8: Hitmontop uses Sucker Punch, but that doesn't stop Gardevoir. Gardevoir uses Draining Kiss, the foe Hitmontop is out.

Turn 9: Sirius sends out Manectric! Manectric uses Ice Fang, dealing no significant damage. Gardevoir retaliates with Draining Kiss and refills it's HP after taking the Ice Fang.

Turn 10: Same procedure as Turn 9. Manectric takes another Draining Kiss and doesn't faint.

Turn 11: Same procedure as Turn 9-10. Sirius uses a Ultra Potion on Manectric.

Turn 12: Manectric uses Crunch on Gardevoir, dealing about 50% damage. Gardevoir uses Psychic on Manectric and OHKO's it.

Turn 13: Sirius sends out Seviper! Gardevoir uses Psychic, destroying the Seviper. (Guess we all saw that one coming, huh?)

Turn 14: Sirius sends out Probopass! I switch to Blaziken. Blaziken uses Rock Smash, reducing the Probopass' HP to about 50%. Probopass uses Magnet Bomb and deals no significant damage.

Turn 15: Blaziken's Speed Boost activates, raising it's Speed by one stage. Blaziken uses Rock Smash, taking care of the Probopass.

Turn 16: Sirius sends out Honchkrow, I switch out to Magneton. Magneton used Discharge, OHKO'ing the Honchkrow swiftly.

I can't give you any helpful tips, since your team seems pretty solid, but if you have problems with the Honchkrow you should probably pick up a rock/electric type somewhere. You may want to evolve your Boldore into Gigalith with a Link Stone. I think that should help you a lot.. other than that, good luck. Just keep trying and I'm sure that you'll be able to do it.

  6. Yeah, well.. I sat in a room. My room, to be a bit more specific. I did another run of Reborn. Went out with some of my friends, got a bad sunburn. I suffered.. uh.. then I went back into my room for the rest of the vacations.. and did stuff.

Nah, seriously. My summer vacations never have been exciting. I sometimes visit people from our family, since most of us are scattered all across Germany, but that's it. I've never been that kind of person to just jump up, go outside and have fun. I'm rather calm and have people ask me to do stuff together with them. Boo, exciting. :P

  7. Meh, everybody forgets about Simon and Tara. :[

Anyway, I think that we are going to see Eclipse again. Don't think she'll just rot in her room for all eternity. After all, she's technically still alive.

Maybe it'll be part of a side quest, or something.. like something with Soul Candle, a Litwick, Lampent or Chandelure.

Also, I don't think that Eli and Sharon left Team Xen, since they are "marked for death" should they attempt to leave. After Eclipse loses her soul, Aster goes on top of Ametrine Mountain and fights you there. After that, he'll return to Eclipse's father and explain the situation and states that he's done with Team Meteor.

Now, I have no idea if it depends on your choices.. but..

    - I defeated Solaris' Garchomp on Pyrous Mountain.

    - I chose to fight Sigmund in the Yureyu HQ.

    - I chose to stay downstairs in the Belrose (?) Mansion Raid.

    - I sided with Radomus and defeated El's Ditto.

    - I chose to refuse giving the Ruby Ring (?) to Charlotte.

    - I chose to refuse handing the Ruby Ring over to Blake, also refusing the two requests of Shelly.

Don't know if that's relevant, but I thought that if I already share my input, I might as well post which choices I made in the game.

  8. Ah, cats can be grateful. They just hate to have you see it. Mine's just sleeping all day. He doesn't exactly care about food all that much.. I can literally dance in front of the bowl with cat food and he simply looks at me with those big, green eyes.

Never get in his way when he's hungry, though. o.o

Edit: Stop posting the same time that I'm posting, grr.. 1044.

  9. Ah, well. I'm not exactly a big fan of embedding videos in forums, but since you asked for it..

It's lame, really. Got the Focus Sash from beneath the staircase and caught a Yamask at Shade's Gym. All in all, it took me about fifteen minutes. I was still pretty hyped, since it was my first time defeating the thing and didn't spoil myself beforehand. Curse did the trick, along with Swagger for giant damage.

I'm a pretty big fan of how Inuki did it, though. Please don't make any remarks about the T-Wave fail. <.<

  10. It's a little awkward, to be honest. Would you mind sharing what motivated you and/or what reasons you had to make certain changes?

Also, Cosmic Power seems a little overpowered, even if it's only having 1 PP.. especially on a Dragonite.

Other than that.. yeah, it's cool. But I think it would be cooler if you were more specific about it, since I'm interested why, for example, Dark Pulse is super effective on a Dragon type. (Unless you changed something about Goodra's typing.)

  11. After obtaining the Shiny Charm later in the game, I found five shinies in less than two hours. So yes, you got lucky. And yes, Reborn's shiny encounter rate is high. I know not about the exact shiny rate, but I believe it's a little higher than 1%, I guess the shiny charm functions the same as in the main series, increasing the chance of finding a shiny by about 300%.. so it should be 3-4% after you find it.

Anyway, I guess it's worth looking for shinies since most of them, if not all, have custom sprites that look pretty neat. My favorite has to be Aggron along with Milotic and Dustox. I also like how the Ludicolo evolutionary line has a Miror B. reference.. but eh, see for yourself. Good luck finding more shinies on your adventure! :P

  12. Welcome to you! Unfortunately, I'm not giving my opinion on your review, since it's your opinion and yours alone. :P I'm also too tired to say much. Which is weird, since I'm normally a very talkative person. But I agree on your opinion about the puzzles, they can get very annoying, especially when you're not in the mood to solve them. (Aventurine Forest, I'm looking at you. Took me like three hours and 40 jars of honey to get through it, and I'm fairly certain that I didn't pick up most of the goodies.. which is regrettable, but I don't have nerves of steel.)

Anyway, since most people add something fancy to their welcoming post, I'm going to mimic it and add a cute animal gif, since that's also what other people did when I introduced myself, so here you go: http://giphy.com/gifs/cute-white-s0k30jjI04THq. I honestly couldn't identify this thing as a seal, though. Looks like a riceball with eyes laying on snow, delicious.

My favorite Pokémon has to be.. Blissey. It's an odd choice, but I love this thing for some reason. Mainly because I trolled my best friend with it's high bulk when we were like ten years old and got our hands on the newly released Gen 4 games.. hah, good times, until he teached his Staraptor Close Combat. It's also cute.

  13. I hiiiighly doubt that we are going to fight El as an Elite 4 member consideting all he's done, really.

My guess is that he's going to kicked out, stays the lunatic that he is and that Laura can come back in. :P

Hmm.. besides, when you fight El on the Citae Arc-d'Astrae, the normal Gym Battle music is playing, but now that he's sided with Team Meteor, he might just get the Meteor Admin theme.. just a guess, though.

  14. I'm more looking for general advice. Like, I like my team, and it's solid as can be, but I don't want to think I've ignored a base or type that can destroy me. Criticism as well, because this is Reborn and this team was made because the next episode...worries me, if Ciel is any indication on how hard it's gonna be.

Your team is good as it is, but as @WaruAthena implied, I'd suggest that you should always try to have a good rotation of Pokèmon available so you can deal with different situations more efficiently and have good coverage.

Now, you don't need a rotation of ten Pokèmon or something.. I'd say that you need up to three, depending how many/what weaknesses your team has, so you can switch one out if it's not needed.

My current rotation consists of a Roserade with Technician. Moves are: Giga Drain, Toxic, Aromatherapy and Leech Seed. I'm just waiting to teach Sludge Bomb to it. So, I definitely got to work on that. I'm planning to add a Lucario, though.
