Clearly after giving Snipers their well-deserved class critical bonus this wasn't my best move.

If you like Persona, you should probably give a mainline SMT game a try. SMT 4 and 4A are probably going to be your best introduction to the whole thing.

I don't dream often, but my most morbid dream that I can recall is probably the one where I got shot up near a lake during fall, then somehow transitioned into diving down into the lake before finally drowning. I do have a profound hatred for having things stuck in my skin, so I probably wouldn't be too happy about being shot and realizing that, but I think the shock of actually being shot would overpower that feeling of disgust and fear entirely, so I'd probably seek help rather than drown myself, lol. The interesting thing is that most of my dreams seemingly end with me dying, or at least that's the most distinctive part that I remember afterwards.

Nox and MEmu, definitely. Bluestacks isn't worth considering, imo. Other than that, there's also some lesser known emulators which appear to work fine as well, but I've never given those a shot.

I've been playing Shin Megami Tensei 4A and Nocturne Hardtype on Hard mode recently. I'm also on the last day of Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker. If you've got the need to talk to someone about the series, feel free. I also stream my playthroughs and talk about my experiences in #gaming-general on the Discord.

After finishing Shin Megami Tensei 4: Apocalypse on War Mode as my first SMT game, I am now playing Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (With the Hardtype mod applied) on Hard mode. I sometimes regret the decision to start the game on the hardest possible difficulty, and believe me, it is unrelenting sometimes, but overall, I still like it. I don't regret looking into the series, and I feel it definitely deserves praise as a whole.
Fuck that guy.
And this one, too. If you didn't fear skeletons before playing Nocturne, you definitely will soon after getting into it.

Felt like I needed to make another one of these topics to satiate my curiousity and get some foreign opinions in. Anyway, let's keep this short and brief, shall we? Maybe we can try and help each other find some new franchises to enjoy. I picked only three, because I didn't want for this to be too long.
-" Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne ~ Large Map/Real Universe"
This one's really neat, I feel. Kind of upbeat and honestly a bit out of place considering what's going to happen to the world in most Shin Megoomy Tensei games. You're most likely only going to end up hearing it for five minutes or so, because after a particular scene the map themes change for good. It wasn't included in the official soundtrack of the game, which is pretty sad.
- "Shin Megami Tensei IV: Tokyo"
I don't really like the idea of including two map themes from the same franchise in this, as it's probably not fair, but they're too good, so I can't really help it. This one plays after you first enter Tokyo after coming from a lush and prosperous kingdom above the "ceiling", which at first probably sounds rather exciting, until you realize that it's Tokyo in a post-apocalyptic setting and it's survival of the fittest down there together with demons that actively hunt humans. There's also no daylight because the city is covered in a dome that was erected because of the incoming ICBM's that would've destroyed the city otherwise.
- "Final Fantasy IX: Return of the Evil Mist"
Enough with the upbeat themes. I really like this one, because it manages to be calm, foreboding, yet relatively scary considering Gaia got once again covered in the mist which spawns evil creatures that attack people and whatnot. You get the gist of it. It also conveys an "endgame" feel, which is fitting since it's the map theme that will accompany your final hours in the game.
Yee, anyway. I'm done. Looking forward to your input. Didn't really know how to use the spoiler tags, so we're stuck with the embedded links instead.

I like to be mean, and I like bad endings.

Normal salami pizza, tbh. Margarita works too, considering I dig the taste of the tomato sauce the most. People who think pineapple on pizza is a good idea should be hit by a plane or something, lol.

Ah, this must be the rumored "Pokémon Rejuvenation" that recently reached Version 1. Let's see how it looks.

The "Rose of Jericho" is my favorite plant. Used to own one of them, really cool things.

Boy, been a while since I made a thread here. Never really noticed too much talk about this topic, so I got rather curious about it. My favorite locations in general would be the Kingdom of Zeal in Chrono Trigger, Lindblum and Memoria in Final Fantasy 9, Opelucid City in Pokémon Black.. just to give you a few examples. I could probably go on for a bit, but I think I'm more interested about what you people have to say. Maybe it'll spark my interest in a game I have yet to play.

My man:
The name's Tomi and he's a doofus and a dork. 12 years old, moving toward 13. Still lively and cuddly.

Chansey.

Zelda.

Time to overthrow you.I'm digging those Fire Emblem nicknames. -
-
Oof.. I'd recommend looking into the Fire Emblem franchise, or playing Chrono Trigger. (Seriously, go get your hands on that one. You won't regret it.)
-
Ike from Fire Emblem.

Since it's your game and you alone are playing it, I don't think you should be considering it cheating.
-
Appreciated. And I don't mind, I can change 'em.

There's a very, very simple way to replace music in the game. First, you get your .mp3 file, then you go into the Audio folder of your Pokémon Reborn, then you look up the name of the track you're going to replace, once that's done, delete that one and rename your .mp3 file the exact name of what the old file has been named and move it into the BGM folder. There, done. No coding, no nothing.
...
However, giving the Team Meteor grunts two seperate themes that change at some point in the game might take a bit more effort than that.

From what I've played recently, only Octopath Traveller comes to mind. I'm not going to go in-depth since my complaints are subjective, but overall it felt to me more like a tech demo than an actual finished game. It's a gorgeous snoozefest.
