Here's some of mine :D I would like to feature the 5 IVs oshawott which was given by my friend (he gave the magnemite and donphan also) and the shiny Pumkaboo that I encountered in just the first pumpkin :D

I updated Wine recently and it's not reading my previous save file that i've logged over 60 hours on :( really dont want to have to start a new save file :(

How can I manipulate which .rxdata file the .exe file opens when I open it with Wine?

Have you tried backing up the old file, start a new game and save it, afterward access the location of the new save file and replacing it with the old one?

Strangely, I'm ok with grinding training and even resetting for a shiny, but that's probably because I barely have to pay attention and can catch up on watching stuff.

I only bothered with a full pickup squad once I could Rare Candy them all up to level 91 post-episode; that's the only way you can get the good stuff (and even then, it's kind of rare for leftovers).

grinding is common but shiny resetting is ... :D gotta give you procs on that one

But slowing down a tedious chore is frustrating, especially if you miss the timing.  In my opinion, fishing in almost any pokemon game is a definition of frustrating.  Granted, it's not quite as bad as Insurgence's fishing system.

I can already see from the first comment you're not into tedious stuff by any means :D Maybe it's just my luck that I always find potions and repels with pickup mons

Problem is do I Catch them or is there something like Thief/Item stealing options?

Tbh its far easier killing them than continously catching them.

When I'm at that point of the game (before Noel's badge), I got a butt load of balls and money to spare. The NPCs at the Opal Hall give you lots of money. You can even use a Frisk mon to check. I thought of and tried Thief but it's like only 1 out of 5 times I met a Luvdisc without heart scale

It's a matter of time.  If I'm already training something up, I'm going to get a few Heart Scales, as opposed to dealing with the frustration of fishing.

fishing is not frustrating in this game at all +.+ you can just slow the game down when it goes ". . ." and toggle it up if u caught something

I'd potentially do it just to get my hands on Leftovers/more heartscales.

you can get heart scales really easy by fishing up luvdisc in the secret base mansion lake. I got about ~20 while speed EV training at there :D a good rod will do

@gkhmpg When you have three dark materials, you can go to the 7th Street, inside Beryl Wall is an altar. When you interact with the altar a Deino will appear.
Also, no, I don't need any particular pokemon. Just trade whatever pokemon you can get.

My online ID is xpoko, waiting for trade

Yes I am a noob lol ... back in my dayyyyyy

We didn't need to worry about EVS i just walked around alot of beat people up... got beaten around a bit. Like i said im not finding the game hard in fact its nice and challenging it's just one feature of the game that i think could be improved. Look i'm not alone i have seen a few other posts but as i said whenever the bring it up it seems they are quickly slapped aside. My point is there are different styles of play and not one is better then another. Im not afraid to admit that im shit at pokemon.

You'll definitely get comfortable with all of the game's feature, don't worry :D Just play around with the game just a bit more

I barely EV train my mons and I don't have too much trouble with leaders/bosses.

A good strategy will always let you come out on top.

EV train is totally not enough too! I always had to read through the whole field notes and dex 3: EV and IV only plays a very small part tbh. Training levels in this game is also very easy +.+

  10. Are you new to pokemon in general? Because after EV trainings I always see myself underleveled and still having an easy time with gym battles. Sometimes the cap between leaders and me are like 5 to 10, since I got the feeling that if my mons' lvls are higher then it would be too easy :/

I can trade you one if you want. Otherwise it can take much much longer to find it via soft reset in mining stones. Message me  when u are ready.

Can you trade me yours? I happened to have mined all of the rocks +_+
