My first shiny was in Fire Red a golden ratata that i killed while getting my EV's maxed for my aerodactyl. I juste killed it and later on i tought.... wait... was that a golden ratata? I never got a shiny after that since that was my last game, later on i played reborn and my first shiny was a Meowth.
