Thankyou for your replies. I am staying determined and I will get a shiny Lotad eventually. I have a shiny Tepig, a shiny Corsola, and, most recently acquired, a shiny Spiritomb - it has bad IVs and EVs, though, but I am happy that it is a shiny male Spiritomb. I would have preferred a shiny female Spiritomb, but oh, well.

Plus, I have shiny Pokémon that I have not mentioned here. I really like my shiny collection and each time I look at my shiny collection, it brings back memories of their individual battles and captures, which is incredibly nostalgic and awesome.

I've been soft-resetting for over an hour and a half and still there is no shiny Lotad. I am not giving up. I will get it, in time.
