Other non-damaging healing moves except Recover will fail.

What about slack off and rest? Would they make sense at night?

    My move:

    Grapple

    Normal

    Priority:-1

    Power:???

    Accuracy: 100

Effect:Applies any effect that was applied to the user to the opponent (Status, stat changes, mean look, throat chop etc). Power is based on the power of the move that the user was hit by.

  2. In chess there is a factor of randomness of how your opponent is going to play (well at least when I play). Sure sometimes the moves your opponent is going to make become predictable but that occurs in online too. I get your point however that things its a matter of taste (had to search up what de gustibus meant). Its just that to the wide audience uncertainty brings excitement. And whoever makes the pokemon games wants to appeal to the widest audience. However in private games (like you are suggesting) you can do whatever floats your boat.

  3. Randomness is the spice of life!

Being serious, there will always be some sort of uncertainty (and thus randomness) in a game. Games without RNG are generally more strategy based and can often get boring quickly, as everything is clear cut. Uncertainty also brings a sense of accomplishment, and it models real life behaviour! So i would reckon keep it. Of course being too random is another problem...

  4. Favourite Playable races for me are:

    3. Dunmer/Breton -Theoretically the best 2 classes.

    2. Khajit - In Skyrim I used this for my unarmed build. It was fun.

    1. Orc - Battlerage or Bloodlust or whatever it was, was really good. Also since they are fugly I was less inclined to spend time trying to make it look good and more likely to spend time in game.

  5. I'm only gonna think about team RWBY because otherwise it will take for ever.

Ruby - I would lead off with Absol but that seems more for Qrow.

    Swaddle

    Grovyle - Starter

    Binnacle

(Only 3 because she is young)

    Weiss - The Ice queen

    Frosslass

Kirlia - She's still growing as a character. - Starter (cause she's rich)

    Petilil - Same reason

Clafairy - She received this in a trade for her Sneasal at the end of Season 1

Blake - Hard, she mainly is around dodging - dodging in Pokemon would be OP (look up the old evasion strat).

    Roselia

    Bisharp

    Banette

    A.Marowak

    Yang

    Blaziken

Primeape - angerpoint (These two focus on how she normally relies on her sembalance)

Her combat style seems to be revolved around her anger - nothing like how she was in the trailer, where she was cool and collected and biding her time. That's why the rest of her pokemon aren't as high leveled.

Buneary - (maybe better suited to Velvet?)

    Stufful

I find that apart from Weiss' transformation in season 1 nothing really happens to the main team that makes them grow.

RWBY and pokemon isn't really that great of a combination as in RWBY close combat is used more frequently meaning that its heavily tilted towards Physical pokemon. also pokemon fails to capture some combat elements such as dodging (example being Blake).

Finally in RWBY the characters are based around their colours (I'm Australian, sue me) meaning that if you literally look up online what the colour has a stereotypical reference to (you know like how they do in Shakepeare - red is passion, white is pure (in the modern day people seem to like darker or more chaotic characters so some times white also means order, boring or cold), black is dark (read edgy)). I find that while a decent idea, they really aren't anything more than their colour, especially as they don;t really change much over the five seasons so far. Weiss had a small change in the first season, Blake still runs away etc.

If you really want to imagine it write a Fanfiction on it. People generally give them a bad name with their crappy porn stories and stories with poor plot.

  6. I'm the kinda guy who can't choose so there may be quite a few more than 10. (BTW no starters was a good call). I'm also limiting my self to 1 legendary.\

(Btw, that's why I always nickname my Gliscors TongueClumsy or vice versa)

BTW I have to say it - thats a really sexual name, hahaha.

    10 Confragigus, Honchkrow - Confragigus

    9. Slakoth, Lilligant, Cincinno, Wobbufet - Wobbufet

    8. Lucario, Gallade, Gardevoir, Gengar,Alakazam - Gengar

    7. Scrafty, Sableye, Electivire - Electivire

    6. Arcanine, Scizor - Arcanine

    5. Zoroark

    4. Magnezone + co.

    3. Breloom

    2. Garchomp, Dragonite, Kommo-o, Metagross - didn't want to turn this into a list of psudoes so I put the ones I really like together. Favourite out of the psudoes overall (excluding viability) is ma boi Tyranitar. I am also gonna tie Aegislash in with this group cause it's basically psuedo anyway.

    1. Mewtwo - loved him without the megas. Fav mega would probably be Y.

  7. Oh boy, the closest thing to a Signature pokemon i have is a literal group of pokemon that I use to always use (and obsess over for a short while), i had to restrict myself to not using the same pokemon twice to actually get enjoyment out games. I always try to keep legendaries out of it so the one I am partial to is Tyranitar.

  8. Gen 1: Charmander - Although in my first Kanto game I actually chose Bulbasaur because I wanted a decent grass type...

Gen 2: Freaking love Cyndaquil (cutest starter imo), but i have to choose Totodile. It would be a tie but Feraligator looks freaking bad ass

Gen 3: I'm actually having a hard time choosing this one, this was the first game i ever played so I (stupidly) chose the starter that i saw Ash use in anime. Its a tie between Mudkip and Torchic

    Gen 4: Infernape

Gen 5: Zorua - Shut up thats my starter, let me have my dreams.......(I hated the starters in this region but if I had to say one it would be Oshawott, the grass things not bad either)

Gen 6: Greninja (I hate to admit it but I actually turned into a fan boy for a while)

Gen 7: Yeah...no (Grass birds decent).
