Reading Creepypastas is only moderately creepy. Listening to them narrated by a decent guy is way worse, especially when you fall asleep, wake up in your dark living room and remember what the Creepypasta was about.
I was reading stuff by a guy who collects haunted artifacts with his wife. Admittedly it's kind of comical because he just locks this one particularly malignant one in 'the box' because when asked to play nicer, it decided to nearly kill the guy with a TV.
