As some people are still discussing about who those characters might be, I am just going to drop here a little thing from Ame's Tumblr because I don't want to suffer alone:
It could mean something, or she may be just trolling us.
Can anyone please tell me Ame's tumblr blog name?
Although I didn't care much for Cain at the beginning, I started to grow fond of him. I highly doubt Ame would remove one of our best rivals, although Ame is known for being a cruel mistress...
Aside from that, there's the field. I get a feeling that I'll be restarting there a lot... I'll be pulling my hair out as well. One thing to keep in mind is that that's a main point of Reborn. The frustration of losing, the gloom of being on a losing streak, the despair of feeling you're not good enough yet, and ultimately, the disbelief of actually having won. That's one of the main reasons I came here. To prove myself. Even after the hindering of available Pokemon, the unhelpful stage effects at times, the lack of all available items, the shortage of money, we've managed to come this far.
To be fair, I thoroughly dislike the idea of Ame being Ame, but if I wasn't pulling my hair out then it wouldn't be Reborn. There isn't a hell that Ame can create that I won't chip away at or power through.
I say bring it on Ame. :feelsgd:

I have nobody else to ask this to so I'll probably get a warning for this but can I make a separate topic about this somewhere else on this site? It highly interests me but I understand if it wouldn't be allowed, although it is Pokemon related. Sorry if it seems I'm doing this for a bad reason, that's not my intention.

A kricketune can be your best friend in this fight. And in a lot of other fights after that.
Seriously, get a Kricketune and spam Fury Cutter forever.

Jesus man, this brings me back. On my 1st run through the game before i lost my file, kricketune was a god. It was most useful in the florinia battle, where it was the only reason i managed to get a badge. Fury Cutter for days. It was over the level cap too, so it was a luck match by that point.

really? Odd. I thought Amy removed it for good. This would be a late game mon too, but i bet it'll still be useful. I hoped it would be something better. like a dragon

So if you may recall, on 7th street there is a vendor who sells you this "cool" pokemon, and when you cough up your shards(maybe it was money, im not sure.) some guy jumps off the roof of the building and runs off with it. Where exactly is he??? I finished the most current episode (15) if that is needed.

cant find it. I found something similar, but it was blocked off by a rock. Not a smashable or moveable one, a normal rock. the ones you can do anything to. That's the only thing i found that was akin to the video. Help ;-;
Final Edit: Found how to get there after years of trekking. Just went up the building and there was a ledge around there. thanks for the help

So, I just heard you can fight Kiki's ghost somewhere but I can't find where. Youtube hasn't been much help so i decided to ask here. Can anyone here tell me where to fight her? Also I heard you catch a misdreavus there but i'm not 100% sure.

In both main series games and Reborn, a Pokemon's characteristics are determined as soon as you're given the egg.
The star being on eggs was a bug in the first place.

some of the areas are buged so save before you fly every time just to be safe but yeah its somewhat usable

the grand hall fly doesnt work well, traps me inside a wall, if i fly to the library of beryl gates it doesnt take me to it

Magnemite was a hard find, but stick around and one should show up.
god dammit. i made my ampharos do signal beam on it, and i ended up criting it. fml

Ralts is an event, and Growlithe, and Mareep iirc. I'd recommend the eevre event, but I think you have most bases covered. Maybe get a poison type like Crobat or a steel type like Magnezone for fairies.
those qualify as events? Interesting. Mind telling me where I can find them?

Yup! One of the best starters to play through with imo. Has really good coverage, good bulk, and crap speed which alows for cursing to be useful. Also good stat moves like Amnesia, the previously mentioned curse, and Rock polish if you want to take that route. Solid mon right there, aside from the x4 ice weakness...
curse let me plow through julia and flo bot. my final moveset on him was earthquake, crunch, wood hammer, and Giga Drain. had to get rid of curse late game
ALSO, i havent gotten a single event poke, i dont think.

Damn straight you're using Torterra. I don't see any super obvious weaknesses. Overall your team is pretty slow, so it would be good to have a fast mon too. And Swap out Amphy for Magnezone if you want more coverage. It doesn't look like you have much for Fairies

In real life, animals consume each other for food. Prey have evolved to better hide from their predators and predators have evolved to find their prey more easily. Some have sharper teeth for cutting, others wait for others to do their jobs for them (scavengers), and some are covered in toxins to deter consumption.
The Pokedex is not the most reliable source out there. However, due to a few bad apples, we shouldn't dismiss all the entries. Not to mention that certain Pokemon just scream out the fact that they are made for ripping and shredding their prey apart. They need energy to survive and I highly doubt they go to a Pokemon Center for Pokeblocks, Poffins, Berries, or whatever else we think they eat.
Some questions are but not limited to:
Which Pokedex entries can we chalk up as valid, what Pokemon eat each other, what have some Pokemon gained as characteristics to deter predators, how have species evolved to beat each other (think
MiamiHeatmor andKevinDurant), etc. How has Magikarp survived for so long without dying out since it's such an easy food source?All this and more in this discussion thread!.
Let's start with an easy topic, Heatmor and Durant.
Take Heatmor's Pokemon Y Pokedex entry: It draws in air through its tail, transforms it into fire, and uses it like a tongue. It melts Durant and eats them.
Now, a gander at Durant's Pokemon Y Pokedex entry: They attack in groups, covering themselves in steel armor to protect themselves from Heatmor.
As we can see, Durants have evolved steel casing on their bodies to prevent easy consumption by Heatmors, and Heatmors in turn have evolved hotter flames to burn through the casing.
Who has the advantage here? Which species do we expect will beat out the other? Who's the communities favorite to survive? How do these biological changes affect their communities?
