Oh, alright, I got it. So I basically locked myself out, since I said Yes to Blake in this playthrough...
Hopefully Ame will give us a way to get it in later episodes.
(I was getting kinda confused, since I already did the Simon quest line, but that's okay)
Thanks for the reply!

I remember getting it in my previous playthrough of the game, but this time Eclipse's father is giving me troubles.
I don't remember what do I have to do to go inside her room and get the Shiny charm (if that's what's even in there)
I tried to look around the forum, but had no luck in finding what to do, so yeah~
SpoilerAlso keep in mind that I've completed the story up to v.16.2

Corta Forest is no longer. Mirage Woods is what replaces it.
What about 'mons caught in Corta Forest? Will they still display "Corta Forest" as their caught location? It'd be kinda cool if it did.
-
I think you should've asked Jan before giving free 'mons... Mainly because it's kinda unfair to the people that spent hours trying to get jackpot starters.

I don't see a psychiatrist talking about armor of hero and villains and what's real and what's fake. I do like the reflection idea though.
It was making an analogy there. The voice asked multiple times what our dream was and mentioned multiple times if it was to be a hero of some sort. Since it sort of got annoyed that we didn't give an answer about that, it changed the subject.
But hey, it's still anyone's guess.

Major spoilers and speculations!
Ok this theory talks about Tristan. You could write Tristan off as a fabrication of your mind or 'the voice' which only you can hear and interact with, however there are some problems with it. First Tristan is too tied to the real world, he has existed and what we now about Tristan matches the real world. That doesn't rule out being a a fabrication of 'the voice'. The second problem is that we have interacted with Tristan. I'm not talking about the experience/damage our pkmn gained since you could say that everything from the dream is transferred to the body. Rather I'm talking about OTHER people who have interacted with Tristan namely every trainer on the first half of Silver Rise just before the ranger's camp.We fought double battles with them so what's the deal?
So we can't say that Tristan is always a non-existant entity. Welll you could claim that Silver Rise is a dream but where does the dream end then and where does it start. Well interesting theories can be found from these questions, I will discard them at the moment since they make any argument regarding Tristan irrelevant since: "it's just a dream".
So now that I have outlined that we can continue with my theory. My theory starts from Silver Rise. Silver Rise is just like Weeping Hill a spiritual place. However unlike Weeping Hill which summons memories, Silver Rise summons the victims it claimed or rather impression of them. Tristan was one of them. I think he died in that storm instead of landing safely. The reason why I think this is because there are totems all over the place. I'm not saying they're the source but they could be markers or amplifiers. Second is the ranger outpost. I mean there is probably a teleporter there so why doesn't Elliot use it? Even if there wasn't why does nobody mention the mission in which the rangers haven't opened that outpost? I mean nobody in the camp talks about it, Elliot doesn't talk about it neither does abybody else in Adenfall nor Blackview. That's because that mission was over long ago with the death of those rangers.
Now we still have seen Tristan outside Silver Rise. We even battled him outside it. This is the second major part, I think 'the voice' highjacked Tristan's impression as a vessel to gather information about you. It makes sense that the two are linked considering that Tristan was very interested in your dream just as 'the voice'. The voice also knows that Tristan is fake. However 'the voice' has not enough power to maintain Tristan for extended durations unless it can extract that power from it's surroundings, that's why tristan had to leave when you enterred the camp because you were leaving the area marked by the totems (there was only one totem left). It also explains why you could fight Tristan in a gym battle. The air of route 4 has a mysterious power 'the voice' could siphon. All your other encounters with tristan were relatively short and had no influence in the physical world. It also explains why Tristan can know about the black foxes or Rosetta, it's because 'the voice', who is with you constantly, knows.
Last major part is 'the voice' : 'the voice' is the only entity that only we have interacted with. So something about us, is special. We also know that the voice only came after we fell of the clouds so what made the connection with 'the voice'. My theory about it is that 'the voice' is Darkrai or something very related to it. The link we have we have with Darkrai is the onyx stone. However both Shiv and Nova have had contact with the stone so they should hear the voice, however we are humans whil they aren't. Shiv is a clear example of that, he looks younger then his younger brother (and I mean a lot), has magical powers and his memories are imprinted in the weeping hills. On top of that I'm pretty sure we fought his ghost in the cave in Addenfell (the sprites looked similar if i recal correctly). Another argument for 'the voice' being related to Darkrai is that the voice is very interested in the character's dreams. Darkrai is a being of dreams and meeting someone who doesn't dream is for him something very intersting/frightening. Also 'the voice' is 'concerned' about the battle between Shiv and Nova, which could be explained because they are fighting over his ownership.
tl:dr Tristan is a ghost highjacked by 'the voice'. 'The voice' being an entity strongly related to Darkrai.
Actually, for the part regarding "the voice", it seems more like a normal person talking to us. Like, a psychiatrist. "The voice" mentions these "sessions" that the main character is doing. I've got two theories behind the game itself:
a ) After that fall onto Silver Rise the main character is starting to remember these psychiatric sessions that they took in the past. Mostly because of Tristan, asking the same questions that "the voice" asks.
b ) We are playing in the past, and when we see "the voice" speaking to us, those are actually glimpses of the present. Events will happen that will bring us to a psychiatrist of some sort.
Also, Caz, half of the first post kinda disappeared... ~

I really liked this episode. The plot especially is perfectly written. The ending cutscene was incredible. Really nice work.
The only really minor criticism I can give, is the fact that there were maybe too many battles. I managed to get my original team to Lv.55 and 4 others at 51-52. Having them to lv55 means that i can't be able to use them much in the next episode, if i don't give them reverse candies. But I do have the other 4 i can use, so it's not actually that bad.
I really liked the puzzle-solving too. Really loved the fact that I didn't have to come here to find out the solutions.
Overall, this was a really great episode. Nice job, Caz & friends! ~
I have just now realized that the game doesn't make back up savefiles on its own like Reborn/Rejuvenation... so I'm stuck with a dead Scarlett. Do I have to play the game again to get Scarlett to live or can I -"go back in time"- with my save file in some way?
-
I was actually hoping for a megaevolution for Vivillon, just to make it somewhat viable.
Could I ask you why did you chose those specific pokemons? Is it a plot related thing?
I ended up voting for Weavile, btw.
-
I'm still salty about this one, Jan.
-
Well, I never said that people didn't care about my game XD
Also to those of you who aren't Masquerain, because I already told her this:
The Difficulty modes have now been beefed up to be more of a challenge in that: If you play on Normal Mode, the amount of EXP you gain is normal, there are no changes there. However, if you play on Hard or Mania, there are some major differences to the amount of EXP gained from defeating a Pokemon.
From my testing of what I've done against 3 level 25 Audino's, one for each difficulty, this is what I got while using a level 88 Pokemon:
100% exp = no change, it's normal EXP gained.
Audino (Lv. 25) 168 exp Normal - 100% no change or 100/100Audino (Lv. 25) 120 exp Hard - 71% or 71/100Audino (Lv. 25) 84 exp Mania - 50% or 1/2As you can see, there is quite the stark contrast in the amount of EXP gained there. Albeit, I was extremely high leveled, so the amount gained is almost nothing anyways. That said, if you want more of a challenge out of the game, then the choice in difficulty will now dictate how much EXP you gain is. So, for Mania Mode you gain half of what you would normally get from a Pokemon, which is... quite a lot of EXP.The only advice I can personally give to you right now is this:
Try not to make this game a grind-fest on Mania/Hard. I read in one of your posts that in those difficulties, the level of enemy's pokemon will go up by quite a bit... with also halfing the exp gained. Isn't it a bit too much?
-
Whoa ~
Back at it so soon?
-
I would put the Zetta & Geara double battle in the list. They were both somewhat challenging by themselves, but they were a nightmare together, with Melia only having 3 pokemons. It was essentially a 9 vs 12.
-
This is the team that I'll be using for the next version too.
I also have like... 9, 10 reserves, but I don't have the patience now to upload 4 screens.
-
is budew still available in gearen city in version 7?
is there a specific time/location?
I found it in Corta Forest as a random encounter during the day-time.
-
So I watched Durarara recently and...
I love it.
So I made this thing out of happiness and because I have a new OTP XD
And that first lady is my chara cuz I didnt know which protag to add so I was like 'fuck it!'
Also had to squeeze Ren in there myself cuz I fukkin love his chara and I didnt wanna leave him out lol <3I don't think this is a spoiler so no spoiler block nyeh! + added a link intsead cuz the pic was huge lol
You can see all mah mistakes ;-;Sorreh if I messed up their designs tho cuz I think I did Q^Q
This is really really good. You are very talented ~

Hidden power seems to be working a bit iffy in general, but I'll add it to the bugs list.
If i recall correctly, HP Fairy was implemented, which shifted around the other HPs. Or am i confusing this with another game?
-
EDIT: I mayyyy have just added another question to the poll. Sorry for those who have already voted and have to revote. I'm simply curious which character (if any) the community here feels is the best.
Just for reference, I liked Scarlett more than everyone else. It looks like she has a story behind her decisions and actions. She just seems more interesting then the others.
Nova/Shiv would be the second best.
-
I said at some point reputation will be VERY important for ALL characters affected. Hope that answers your question :3
Yes. Yes, it did. Thank you ~
-
Episode 3 will be the longest Episode so far.
Caz, I got a question for you: (spoilers in the spoiler, don't open it if you haven't finished v2)
The positive reputation that we might have gotten with Scarlett will still have a use later on or was pointless?
-
I'll give it a try when you upload the entire game with all the bugs/glitches corrected 'till now. Or directly from the next version. It seems interesting
-
Alright I don't know if this was reported or not but the pokedex says that charmander, clefairy is available in Gearen city which I doubt so think this qualify as bug/error.
They can be found in the EV training rooms (Speed and HP, respectively). They're just not catchable.
-
Im just curious but does anybody seem to have a stronger lag presence then in episode then others. it seems really laggy this time for me
I haven't noticed any lag in any of the versions. So I guess it's a hardware problem on your end.

Or she just represents a neutral chaos - there's a newer scene after beating the Ghost Gym where Ren is apparently upset that you managed to undo the town's isolation in a matter of DAYS when he had been trying for YEARS, and Crescent capitalizes on that by suggesting he join Team Xen. That is not something a Warrior of Light would suggest at all. There's also the matter of exactly why Crescent would take such an interest in you and your mother remaining out of the clutches of Team Xen. We all know she's played a direct part in their lives somehow prior to the game starting, and it's also highly implied that prior to the events of the game, Crescent was responsible for the Goldenwood radio tower project failing as well. Again, not something a Warrior of Light would be doing.
Remember that they were trying to create a "new world" by destroyng the existing one... so I guess Crescent stopped them. Which is actually something that ANY person with common sense would do. But she overdid it by burning the whole place down.

Other than the Friendship Berries, does anyone know if they're selling anything new? I can't check the Lost Camp cause of the bug so I wanted to ask.
After the first expansion, they sell the reducing EVs berries and the main 3 evolution stones.
I heard that they sell other stuff if you expand it even more, but I got the bug that doesn't let me expand the second time, so I don't actually know for sure.

The new sprites look fantastic. The only "problem" I see is with Aevia's look. It seems an older Aevia instead of an improved sprite, almost like another person.
Don't get me wrong, she looks perfect and I like her look. I just feel that she's too different from her initial sprite. It's like she's phisically grown and got more experienced and serious. I don't know if I made myself clear, I hope I did. (Where did her hat go? It was awesome, I wish I had one for my own...)
I like what you did with Axel and Aria, they're just perfect.
I see that no one commented about the overworld sprites... but that's to be expected. They're spot-on.
I hope that the dev. goes smoothly. Can't wait to restart the game!
Again.Best of luck, Jan.
Edit: Also, I'm excited to see the new mugshots that I immagine you'll be making.
