You don't need to beat Luna you just need to be get the red crystal plug (given to you) and work your way to the second one being the green one, then you can go and get the key you need to evolve magnezone and get a certain pokemon.

Much like a regular pokemon when you see the star in the bottom left corner of the pokemon display image the egg pokemon will have that aswell, whilst it is even in egg form. For example, you get the Cacnea/Seel egg and soft reset the game before accepting it, eventually you will see a star on the bottom left corner of the egg image to let you know it is shiny. The egg doesn't change colour, you just get the symbol (Star) appearing before even having to walk around and hatch 100's of eggs. At least this is from screenshots I've seen, although fairy certain.

If it has any of the types in for example Surskit,(Bug, water) when it evolves it will gain the flying type over the water(flying, bug), type I'm factoring evolutions as the final outcome. As the Masquerain will have the flying type. So decided to do a Nuzlocke variant, I call a typelocke, Where you randomize 5 types you're allowed to use, with all the usual Nuzlocke rules. For me I randomize the starters: Fire, water, grass; since you gotta chose one, then randomize the other 15 types and use the top 4 results. I got fire, dark, fighting, electric and flying. Niche. Then I got this little treat dropped on me from the get go. Scoop up that early ability capsule before blowing up Team Meteor's first base. GG.
