No problem, and happy to help.

are you talking about the saves in my C:Drive?
Believe so. You should have another Rejuv folder, full of the backup saves, and then the main one. The backups list like... your number of badges and etc,in their default names if I remember correctly. It's been a while since I used one.

so i accidentally walked into the void room and i had the game full screened so now i can't open the game or go back to patch 10 because i had already saved am i SOL or what?
You should be able to just load the last backup save. Just find where saves are located, and rename the most recent one to game

Alright, doing this I can get an error with SWM v42 when any Boldore uses Explosion (actually my netbook freezes completely, which I'm taking as its way of not being able to handle what happened).
With v43 instead it works fine, thus the improved code does help.
It might be an unrelated bug that got fixed in the crossfire, but since it's the only one i was able to get i'm going to assume it's the same problem and it is fixed, at least until it happens again in v43.Good to hear, and thank you.

It helped
In case you're wondering:- the NoTMXNeeded error was due to a "break" command that shouldn't have been there
- the ShowStatBoosts error I wasn't able to replicate, thus I'm not 100% sure about what caused it or if it is fixed now; in any case, the bitmap creation and check are now a little bit improved, and hopefully this will be enough to prevent that error
I also had the Statboosts error the other day. If it helps at all with discerning the cause, when I was getting the error, I was in the Teknite cave, using Power Gem with a Sableye to create the Crystal Cave field. It wasn't constantly occurring, and seemed somewhat random as to when it would cause a script error or not. I wound up having to temporarily delete that particular mod to progress through the area.

I started playing Reborn back in V14, when Shade still gave Shadow Ball, instead of his current Shadow Claw TM. Will this prevent Claw from being available/cause the reward to be a duplicate TM? For various reasons, I've never restarted, to play from the beginning... mostly fights that I found stressful, like PULSE Swalot and Ciel.

The in-training one they're referring to is Novae, the girl you fight a couple of times as a Help-Request. She more or less mentions as much after you see her at Terajuma, so she'll probably be the final one you fight for a Shard.

What are the best ways to increase happiness? And where is the pokemon nature changer in Gdc?
The best ways are probably use of daily haircuts and just biking around aimlessly for a while like you'd do to hatch/get eggs, both with the soothe bell equipped. Don't know about the nature changer yet though, since I'm only just about to go deal with Angie for the first time.
Question of my own though, has anyone used Tesla's yacht to get back to Gearen City, then been unable to access the dock it's in for a return trip? That happened to me, when I tried it out of curiosity to see about picking up some stuff that I needed surf for. -

ah ok. thanks for the info!
No problem. I think it was mentioned on one of the early pages of the topic, but I couldn't tell you where exactly.
-
To both of you, @Phoenix2345 and @Syglory you have to manually go in and change the number of backup saves in the options menu in v9, even if you had it turned on in older versions, due to the changes to the system. Unless you do that, it won't make new backups.

Goldenwood Cave is the first place, and yes. It's a straightforward day/night evo.

There's a password you can give at the start of the game... I don't know where you'd find it in-game, that instead of skipping the boat, changes your sprite to her. One forum topic gave out what it was, but I don't recall the number off-hand.

Elekid has a chance of having it as a hold item. So basically go into the fight with a fainted mon with Compoundeyes in your first slot, and then something with Frisk, and reset until it's holding it. Same with Magby for the Magmarizer

It's the second Hidden Library quest you get in Sheridan. The Good Rod is in an item ball.

I haven't restarted in a couple versions, but I'm considering it for this one, since I want to see what sorts of things have changed in the old content since... I think it was Version six when I restarted. Whenever it was that a restart was made mandatory because of the changes.
-
Not really. I'd collect them once they're available via events or in the wild, but the Gen7 starters just aren't all that great in actual use, nor do their final forms appeal to me that much. The fire starter especially suffers from being incredibly slow... the slowest of all three I believe, and having unfortunately low defenses. Its middle form with a held item to boost its power is probably better off then the evolution, due to its higher speed.

Ghost and Dark are my favorite types, followed by Fire and Steel... I'd do monotype runs of any of those four honestly. I've not tried to monotype before either, so that could be an interesting new experience.
-
I'll be starting anew for this update I believe, to see everything that has changed. Also, thank you very much. I can't wait to see everything for myself.

Chandelure's line. No question. It's a personal favorite.

Hex Maniac. A lot of my favorite pokemon are Ghost or Dark types.

I don't know if I downloaded a previous version, or it is a common bug, or just with me, but when we go meet that Ranger Gym Leader (the flying leader, the one with a Xatu), she sends us to that graveyard.
So, the thing is, she tells us the entrance is East of the route before that lava cave. However, the actual entrance is West of the route after that cave. Then, after we finish everything and go back, we are teleported to near a wall in the route before the lava cave (sorry, I dont remember the route's numbers).
Also, the Zorua of Hardy was imitating a Growlithe and the displayed name was Mightyena
The Graveyard's location was changed in the most recent 3.1 patch, to be on Route 2 instead of Route 1. I believe the list of errors in the original post mentions not all text has been corrected as a result. Similarly, the warp was not yet fixed at the time of release. As for the Zorua... I don't actually know why the name would be like that, was off the top of my head.

Yes, thank you. I did mention knowing that, I was simply asking to save time on resets. Though considering in Rejuv I reset near constantly for about... three or so days for an Eevee, I suppose Sheer Force+decent IVs won't be too big a deal. Also, apologies if this sounded at all rude, it wasn't meant to be.
SWM modular modpack [E19]
in The Mod Market
Posted
One of the last few versions of the modpack added an item ban option. If you want to remove it, just delete the item ban file from the mods folder, and you should be good.
