Having some solid Ice Types is always good. A-Ninetales, Mamoswine, and Cloyster are some of my favorites right now if you haven’t tried any of those. All can have pretty good synergy in double battles from what I know too.

Hello, havent played Rejuv in about 3 years, came back to it the other day excited to get into a whole new game basically. I can't get past the first battle of the game as i soft reset for a Popplio and went into the battle with the first trainer. As i take down the litten, the game then gives me a bunch of error codes seems like most of them regard the scripts, and then I cant get experience or finish the battle. It looks like the image attached. Any help is appreciated as I have literally just started playing the game and I cant get past the first battle. I am also playing on Mac if that helps.

What Pokémon are you using now? It would be better to know so we can give you more suggestions on what you should keep/what to change out etc.

If you need fighting types, you can go back to the obsidia slums and get mons like makuhita, pancham, and even scraggy (if your team can handle the scrafty fight). In terms of ground types, there’s not a huge selection as far as I know but I would recommend Phanpy (next to beryl gym) or if you have a moon stone, get Nidorina (need corey’s ring first). The latter is really good for the next couple of gyms too.

Does anyone have any spare budew/roselia? looking for one to eventually have hp fire trying to get a really good roserade. Egg moves not really necessary but any are appreicated.

Didn't want to start a completely new thread for something that was asked already pretty recently. May I also have a spare honedge if anyone were to be so kind? All I ask is that it hopefully has shadow sneak.

If you tend to have a more physical Gren, this move paired with Gunk Shot and Ice Beam make good coverage. You can add U-Turn too if you play on Set Mode. Otherwise, Hydro Pump is always good.
Mine is more of a mixed attacker unfortunately. Once i get back to Reborn city in my current playthrough ill probably start breeding to get some better ones or just end up changing the nature.

I would recommend the following moveset, but firstly first, be sure your Froakie has Protean, so it can deal STAB damage everytime.
Surf --> A good water move that will come in handy to you since many of the next Gym Leaders you'll encounter will fight in double battles.
Extrasensory --> Don't say 'no' to a chance of making you're adversary flinch. You can rely on Dark Pulse at your convenience, but I think Extrasensory is a bit better, simply because you can fool your enemies by turning into Psychic Type and lure potential Fighting move users, which can't be done if you're using Dark Pulse.
Grass Knot --> Same as above, except you'll lure Electric Type this time. Also, there are quite a bunch of Rock and Water mons, as well as heavy mons (Escpecially in the late part of the game), and Grass Knot is THE piece of the puzzle to counter them (
Hello, Amaria's Lapras)Ice Beam --> You can't have it for now, which is quite a shame. But as a Showdown Player, I couldn't resist to test my current Reborn Squad against other single type mono teams, and I can assure you that the fiercest trainers you'll face are definitely Dragon Type users. Don't meditate twice, and teach it to your Greninja as soon as you find this TM. The thing is, Saphira will probably fight in the Dragon's Den Field which halves damages dealt by both Water and Ice moves. But as far as I know, using Surf two times (If you're still alive) can terminate the field. If Ice Beam ever becomes available before the battle against Saphira (Which I seriously doubt, but whatever), it risks to make things relatively enjoyable to you. Meanwhile, Dark Pulse would be a good substitute to Ice Beam until you find the appropriate TM.
Recommended nature: Timid (Don't let anything nor anyone outspeed you).
For info, you can change the nature of your Pokemon to any nature you wish to have if you trade three heartscales to the psychologist living in 7th Street.
Concerning the item to hold, I'm a bit hesitant between Life Orb and Wise Glasses. I would probably opt for Life Orb since Greninja is a glass cannon and can hardly survive an attack whose damage are amplified by battlefields anyway. Also, it's probably better to get hurt by unbearable strength than by your foes

This does help a lot thanks! Yeah I had a previous save about 2 years ago with greninja but I completely blanked on the moves I had on it so this works. Yeah dark pulse extrasenssory and surf/hydro pump I all have already. Patiently waiting on ice beam and I’ll look into grass knot. Thanks man

Hey all, so I received a lucky Froakie from a wonder trade the other day, and I was definitely willing to drop everything to make it of level to get that Greninja considering its one of my favorite mons. So I was wondering for late game and into future EPs of Reborn what do you guys think is the best all around moveset for it? Taking any and all suggestions. I'm also at the Terra gym battle in the story for reference.

Looking to wrap up my main team with an Alolan Vulpix that has Moonblast on it if anybody can spare one! I would greatly appreciate it. Other than the move, only other thing I would prefer would be a good nature for Sp. Attack like Modest or Mild. No real preference with EVs or IVs. I don't have too much to offer in return but if someone needs something you can definitely check with me!

All the rest are lower than Lvl 55 but I have all the 7th street mons, most event mons, etc.
So Im starting the battle with the Meowstic and Flygon combo, able to use fake out on one and then can take out both of her first two pkmn with an EQ. After that though, its like chaos. volcorona and rotom end up making short work of my team way before Ninetales can even get in. Again any help and/or tips are appreciated. Wish i still had the team I beat her with 2 years ago.

HAHA that worked, thanks for the suggestion I would've tried that before I just forgot the deleting the old game.rxdata file first. I got set back a little but at least I don't have to play through this long game once again for like the 6th time. Thanks again bud

Well fuck. Thats so annoying. I was at Blake's Mansion doing his puzzle and the last time I saved was right in front of the computer you use to input the code. And yeah if it works in a previous episode please let me know.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with fixing this issue. Out of the blue it seems my save started to mess up today. As soon a I load up the game, It gives me a bunch of error messages with a lot of text as you'll probably see for anyone who tries to help me. After clicking out of all of the error msgs it brings me to the title screen and before I can even select continue those messages pop up again and the final message that pops up says "script 'pokemonload' line 287: no method error occurred" And then the game crashes. Not really sure what the issue is and if anybody has had this problem before, but any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes I've tried with multiple files before this and its giving me the same error.

Pawniard is also a great mon. Unfortunately, you an't get it until right before Charlotte so its a late game pokemon. If you don't mind though (I wouldn't) you should definitely use it. Bisharp is a monster.

Shroomish is still a great Pokemon though, you should definitely use it OP. May I ask what starter you picked?

Its based off of when your save file is created so you really have no say over what you get. If you want one that badly you'll have to try again or wait till it becomes available another way.

Hello, currently having issues with all of my saves in Reborn. Just started to happen too as I have run through all of EP 18 without having this issue ever. Decided to get back on to breed some mons and started having the problem. Screenshots included below; every time i pick up an item it doesn't show what it is, cant see any of the items in my bag, pokemon names, moves, and commands all blank. Started a new save too to see if that was the issue, but alas it is doing the same thing. If anyone has come across this issue or needs any additional info, let me know as I am trying to get this resolved quickly so I can get back to playing. Thanks
