Science can explain. The game will run like a slideshow on the overworld if you're watching a video with images moving every second (normal lets plays) or watching streams.

EDIT: Just checked the pokemon rates. 9 % is ghost with 14 pokemon. FEELS GUD MAN

thats exactly what happened, i attacked first, zubat used bite, next turn i flinched. Was really annoying, especially if you're a ghost mono you can be infinite bite.

If I'm not mistaken, you flinch on the next turn after someone uses Bite?
Pretty sure that isnt a mechanic, never happened to me before, never did it before, dont know anyone who had that happen to them. Its just a bug i guess, just like sometimes protect wont work even if you dont use it consecutivly.

Im doing a ghost monorun right now, got some ghost starters to start off with and i remembered that i never really found shuppet before, and since this is a monorun i need as much ghosts as possible. So anyone know where he is (i know after flobot, i mean location) and what are the requirements for him to appear?

So here i am doing my ghost mono and a zubat bites me after i attack. Fine and dandy, than i try to use a move and i... flinch...
This heres annoying cause you can get infinitly flinched while being faster than your opponent.

My best monotype experiences are ghost. Both competitivly and outside of competitive. After playing with ghosts for aroudn 3 years now i understand them better than most people and know exactly how to work with them, so any other monotype i make will allways be less enjoyable than ghost monos. (i dont mean they arent enjoyable, just less enjoyable).
Also who else tried to do ghost monoruns? I never see much people doing them.

Meh honestly im using a frillish mainly, i think ill have gastly as a back up or something, i still need to find a way to get through flobot like that tho.

umm I want to throw this in here cuz i've experienced this before with gastly.
It's completely useless until lv 25+ cuz it won't learn any special attack and you'd have to stick with lick until lv 19 just to go with night shade so...
I'd recommend choosing another starter? :l
Oh i know i know, but see i need at least 2 pokemon to actually do something on the early gyms and even if he doesnt have sp atks until than i can handle it, those are some of the only pokemon that are worth hacking in as starters since they arent available anywhere else.
Actually i might put a frillish in there aswell, honestly having 3 pokemon from the start can seem OP but by the time i were to reach the first ghost i'd already have a full team so really idc

If you're thinking of Arkenciel from showdown, no, that is not me, i thought about this name randomly whilst choosing from a variety of other random names to couple with Zeno, and arkenciel randomly came to my mind.
Unless you're actually thinking of my the ghost monotyper Zeno_magatama, in case yes thats me.

Since i need 2 starter mons cause shuppet is a long way, i'd love a timid gastly and an adamant golett, just so i can actually damage normal types too...
Oh yeah gastly has levitate and golett has no guard

You could potentially have somebody hack a starter in for you, if you'd like. I can't actually do it myself, however.
Anyways, the two earliest Ghost types are Shuppet, before Corey, and Pumpkaboo, after Corey.
Im perfectly ok with that honestly. But... who would hack me that in tho. I'd need like 2 if i'd need to wait 2 gyms.

By far Echoed Voice Whismur/loudred in early game. This thing is an ABSOLUTE, BEAST.
It completely destroyed 5 of hte first gyms pokemons, and on flobot all i needed to do with intimidate the craddily enough so that its hits were worthless, than used loudreds screech and completely took out its stockpiles defenses. This thing is a BEAST for the early game as far as im concerned.

So im thinking of starting a ghost monorun sometime. I know its hard cause you dont get a ghost until like after corey but whatever.
Any recommendations? Im willing to use at least 2 pokemon that arent ghosts considering how scarce they are. -

Cain spots his first target.
But alas, Cain is simply too irresistible, and soon he is swarmed by many attractive locals. Which he's pretty okay with actually.
Eventually, the crowd dissipates, and he is able to return his sole focus to the original target.
Meanwhile, Aya just kinda wanted to be alone, so I just kinda let her do her own thing. Which is making eggs I guess.
Anyway, back to the important stuff.
Cain is not one to waste time.

flobot just seems way too difficult for this right now
