Thanks for the replies guys! I'll make sure to hang onto the ring then. Since it is potentially for plot things I think I shift it back to the bag so the game can find it, but I'm still going to think of it as with my Shuppet. Also thanks for being super spoiler friendly! I appreciate it. P.S. I kinda figured the Shuppet showing up then was unrelated but man did it work out great from an impromptu story standpoint.

Let me set the stage for the my question (I think folks will enjoy it more) So I just finished the bit with Corey in Beryl ward. I then walked headed back to his gym for some random reason and found the silver ring in his room. As I was walking to the Grand Staircase I realized what I had to do. I ran back to Beryl ward and headed to the graveyard. I began checking the gravestones to see if I could find his wife's (I was going to drop the ring there). INSTEAD, I found the spooky gravestone that spawned a female Shuppet. Said Shuppet is now in my team and is holding the silver ring I found in Corey's room. Which brings us to my question, does anyone know the name of Corey's wife? I am going to name the Shuppet after her and use her to in every major team Meteor fight for some serious poetic justice. P.S. That gravestone was real spooky.
