  1. I found a couple little typos that kinda of got a little laugh out of me just because I'm pretty lame like that.. Post some funny Reborn or any other game typos/bloopers that you find here!

    post-53127-0-02682700-1432962506_thumb.jpgpost-53127-0-65217400-1432962512_thumb.jpg

Of course 1-3= -2 and 1-2= -1.. I didn't mean to be a grammar (or math..) nazi, but it just got a bit of a laugh.

  2. you can look in Pokemon Location guide, for questions like that

but the next part for Fennekin would be Goldenleaf Town, just below the entrance

Fennekin isn't really in the guide.. it just says where it eventually ends up. I just found it at Goldenleaf, I'm pretty sure it's on Route 2 next, but where after that?

  3. I'm currently on the hunt for the Fennekin... I literally just now beat the Mirror B counterpart, and I used a cheap tactic with Servine (level 33, my highest level), to beat the Kingdra statue. I saw Fennekin there, and it ran off again. Where are the rest of the locations?.. Thanks!

  4. This isn't the right thread for this. Try here next time.

Check the fountains near the north railnet. No nature changer as of yet.

Eh it pertained to what he said about the Spearow quest.. I was just saying I couldn't do it since I was stuck on the fountains. Thanks though, apparently the fountains in front of the hotel don't count for whatever reason..

  5. Yea grind for sure, but with this team you should be able to win easy (assuming you are playing on Normal or Easy), but you may want to do the Help quest in Sheridan Village that gives you a Spearow, it evolves at Lv 20 so having a Fearow will be much better than a Pidgeotto in this battle or keep both in drop off Litleo in the PC for the time being

I'm currently stuck on the fountains quest.. The one in Sheridan was fine, the two at the pier were fine... but the ones in front of the huge hotel don't give me any message at all, like the other fountains saying nothing is wrong with that fountain in particular.

And is there any way to change a pokemon's nature yet? I'm pretty sure you could on 7th street in Reborn, but my Frogadier's nature is real crap.

  6. So it's pretty early game, so their move pools aren't too great.. and I'm sure it's just a matter of grinding for a little bit, but I was curious if anyone could offer any advice. Thanks!

  7. it's actually pretty easy, since the Pokemon are at the top of each spoiler.

I think I've got them all.. I got all of the starters anyway. Are there any long intricate, or more hidden ones I might be missing? I just went on the pokemon locations page and Ctrl+F'd the words "Event", "Guide", and "http".. So I may be missing some.

  8. Don't worry about the new Pokemon. There's only one that you probably cannot do unless you start a new game (it's none of the starters though). I do recommend completing all the event Pokemon so that you don't accidentally miss anything.

Do you have a list of said event pokemon? I got the Chespin, Mudkip, Beldum, Solosis, Growlithe, and more of course, but it's such a long list... Is there a complete list anywhere?

  9. As some of you may already know, Ame updated the obtainable pokemon for episode 15. Fennekin and Squirtle are among the starters that will be given in game events this time. On a side note, you can obtain Chikorita, but before it, Bulbasaur was in its place. So I'm curious.. If you obtained that Bulbasaur, would the Chikorita even load? Since there are more event starters, and some, like Mudkip, and being taken out, I'm curious as to whether any more previous starters would be replaced, and whether you would be able to get the one replacing it if you already captured the first one.

For example, Mudkip is in the Byxbysbion (pardon my spelling?..) Wasteland as of now. However, he will not be available in episode 15. Is Squirtle simply replacing him in that area? Let's pretend Squirtles does replace him. I already caught Mudkip. Would the Squirtle even spawn, or not? (A similar scenario already occurred, like I previously mentioned, with the Bulbasaur and Chikorita, so someone is bound to know...)

Sorry that was such a mouthful!

  10. The place with el and acreus ditto have unown so gives a lot of exp. I think it range 50 to 80 or idk remember too much.

The Tauros give about ~1100 exp to a pokemon that have an exp share if someone else is fighting it. Like the Noibat in the back of my party gets ~1100 exp per Tauros if my Arcanine fights it. I tested the unown, it's a worse option because there's nowhere to heal pokemon nearby, and they give less exp

  11. With those Tauros in Route 2 :] that's how I got 21 newborn pokemons to level 70, the guys that appear in the Grand Hall help a lot too!

    You gotta be pacient

Alright thanks, I'll try those Tauros then! And yeah I use the Grand Hall guys but it's just one battle per day.. I got my newly hatched shiny chespin to 28 with one battle against one of those guys.

if you haven't beaten the Glitch World, then there is a great place to train and grind before the gym battle. if not, then the Crustles in the puzzle have always worked for me

I already beat the glitch world sadly, I hope eventually we'll be able to go back. It was really cool and a great flashback. And I already have all of the Crustles in a hole...

  12. Not sure if this was the best place to put the topic but.. Where do you guys train/grind for experience in Reborn? Since I still have some time before episode 15, I wanna get some of my newer pokemon higher leveled. I have the EXP Share but I don't have the Lucky Egg (If you can get it). Any ideas or places you guys like to level up your pokemon?

  13. I think you end up having to battle Aster at some point. After that (maybe the end of the episode also, not sure) Aster will go to Eclipse's house to explain the situation. He should then let you go in her room(14.6 only) If you dont have access to it, you may have said yes at one point. Not sure since I didn't try out the other routes.

I think I did say yes at one point, and instead of giving me waterfall, he took the ring and waterfall and left.. but I don't remember. I could very easily be wrong. It was a while ago, and I don't remember if i fought Aster or not... If I didn't, is there anywhere I could go to do it anyway? Or can I just not get the charm since I (possibly) said yes at some point?

  14. Although this topic is almost two months old, I'm still having this struggle after just learning about this little quest recently. I'm pretty sure I said no to Blake every time, but it's possible I may have said yes the last time.. does that completely ruin it for me? I beat Terra (as far as episode 14 goes), and just upgraded to 14.6, but still don't have access to the room. Any suggestions?..

  15. 14.6 Bug Fixes. <- This thread has the most current version of the game that contains many bug fixes in it.

But yea, just download the game from the link and then just extract it to your computer. Once you do that, just run the game as if you ran it before. You won't lose your data since your Game.rxdata is located in a different location.

For the Shiny Charm, just go back to Calcenon City and look for the house at uppermost-left corner of the City that should hold Eclipse's father. If you did say no, something else should appear there.

In the notes for that patch it mentioned shiny chespin bug fix.. what is that about DX Chespin is the pokemon I'm breeding for.....

And I just updated and I think all of the trainers got reset because I'm getting challenged by a bunch of trainers with like, level 17 pokemon

And as for the guy in the top left of Calcenon.. He says there is no way Lindsey could be dead, and that I can't go in the room.... I'm pretty sure I clicked no for the hm waterfall but if I for some reason clicked yes, is there any way to get the charm??

Edit: Finally got the shiny Chespin! Anyways, knowing the annoying little details on that charm would still be helpful!

  16. I don't recall their being a little sub-quest with this. All you had to do, like Chubb said, was just say No to Blake when he asked if you'll give him the Ring in exchange for the HM Waterfall.

If you said yes, I'm not sure if you'll be able to or not, but you can try.

Also, make sure you're updated to the most recent version as that is where Ame fixed it.

Sorry for late reply.. But okay so when Blake asked for the ring in exchange for waterfall, I honestly can't remember if I said yes or no.. I THINK I said no at least one time but where do I go to find the shiny charm then?? I'm not that great with names, especially since I took a slight break after I beat ep14.. Ohh and I only started playing when ep14 was released so what exactly do I do to "update' my game without losing any of my data? I'm currently running 14.1.1 but that's the latest version according to the download page..

  17. It's a long way into the game, in Eclipse's Room (available E14) if you followed one of the story's certain paths (saying no to Blake). Thing is, it may not open, since it didn't for some people who met the requirements.

Honestly I don't even remember who Eclipse is.. isn't that someone from Team Meteor? If it's the one with the dad or grandpa or something who doesn't believe she died and tells you to get out, I didn't know what to do from there.... Could you go a little further in depth?

I don't think I ever did this little mini storyline. I looked further into it and don't remember anything. I couldn't find a list of all of the little sub quests in the game... Help?

  18. Whoa hold up the Shiny Charm is in Reborn?! Where please. And @Simon, yeah I figured that's how it was, which is why I've been breeding a ton of them instead of trying that, since that's how it was in real pokemon games. I just didn't know if Ame changed that for Reborn.

  19. I reset until I finally got a shiny ditto from the pokemon seller on 7th street. I put the ditto in the daycare with a Chespin and attempted to breed a shiny Chespin. So far, I have a box full of regular Chespin.. I'm just posting to verify whether or not it is possible to breed a shiny in this game. If someone is speaking from experience, that'd be great!

  20. Stealth rocks is essential to getting an advantage over charolette. good thing all her pokemon has a rock type weakness. also eliminate the field effect

I get up stealth rocks on first turn with sturdy Golem.. eliminating the field effect is impossible.. I looked at the field effect guide and decided that Explosion on Golem would be best to get rid of the superheated field, but it didn't work for some reason, it just stayed the same. Can't really find anything else to get rid of it.

You can find Cottonee around Calcenon and evolve it to whimsicott, look for a prankster one and have it set up Trick Room next to a strong Rock Type, with Rock Slide or a Ground type with Earthquake (Whimsicott just eats earthquakes for breakfast) then have it use Rain Dance.

Just thought of it and it might work.

I like it but one the trick room's reverse priority, and it would die on first turn because typhlosion=sonic.

Do you have a pokemon that is quite fast, and can learn rain dance? i find that works. i used emolga and paired it with Golem for SR and rain. shit works, son

Mine is the level you find it when you catch it. My pachirisu knows it but Sonic Typhlosion outspeeds it

Edit: Finally beat her! Didn't have to level anyone up either. Used Rain Dance with Prankster Sableye, stealth rocks with Golem. I reset until Darmanitan didn't use rock slide. After he sent out ninetails and it got the drought, I just used a revive on Sableye and got another rain dance then Greninja sweeped out the team with Water Shruiken from there,
