  1. Sooo, you may have already beaten him Blue Eyes, but may I offer up a somewhat different strategy? A...heheh, FEARful one?

    Is it cheap? Yes.

    Is it dirty? Yes.

    Is it despicable? Yes.

Does it feel WONDERFUL? Oh HELL yes.

Steps required to do this are:

    1) Save the daycare couple so you can breed pokemon.

    2) catch a female Aron. They can be found in the underground railnet. Specifically an area you can sort of open up with the tracks. Just headbutt the pole till you get one

    3) catch a male Cubone. They're found in the Wastes.

    4) Teach Cubone Endeavor. Honestly, this is the hardest part of this list. Try to use the Move Tutor to save time if possible.

    5) Breed Aron and Cubone together and get Aron with Endeavor.

    6) Give Aron the Sturdy ability.

    7) Cackle with glee as your level 1 F.E.A.R. Aron puts the fear in El.

  2. I'll be honest, there are really two things I dislike about Reborn, and they are the nerfs and Titania. I'll be honest, I managed to beat pre-nerf Charlotte with a team where my only water type was a Seaking with Dive and Waterfall, none of my team was E.V. trained, and I had no entry hazards. Was it difficult? You bet it was, but the challenge is what made it fun and I still managed to beat her. Considering that she was the hardest gym leader and I still beat her with a Seaking and Arcanine, the game didn't need any nerfing.

As for Titania...I can't stand her. -_- Now, I don't care that she killed Team Meteor members, they deserved it. Hell, I fully support Saphira and would gladly help her kill Sigmund and the rest of team meteor. I can also forgive her for her mistakes with Amaria. She was trying to help a friend and was in over her head. No, what I dislike about her is that she seems to see everything in black and white, and her inability to think things through. Take her interactions with Taka. She was completely unwilling and unable to see his side of things. In her eyes, he has to be with her or against her, no middle ground.

Personally I fully agree with Taka, his actions, and if I were in his position I'd be doing the same thing as him. You don't openly betray someone as strong as Solaris and Lin, especially when you know they kill people. You undermine them in small ways and bide your time until you're in a position to strike. I'd be very surprised if Taka didn't play some role in taking down Team Meteor, provided you helped him out when he asked for it. People like Titania though are blind. =/

  3. Nyeh, how are all of you getting Magnezone? I've been stuck with a Magneton all game. =/ That said, the team I used to beat Ciel was Magneton, Aerodactyl, Gardevoir, Octillery, Arcanine, and Alakazam, with Magneton, Aerodactyl, and Octillery doing most of the work. From what I remember, my poor Magneton managed to beat talonflame before getting killed. Then Aerodactyl took out another two with Rock Slide. And then I just let my Moody Octillery sweep it after a couple of stat boosts. Seriously, grab a Moody Octillery, they rock! I fully understand why Moody is banned from competitive play.

  4. My ace is, without a doubt, Arcanine. He's blasted through every tough spot I've been in, from the PULSE machines, to that battle with the fake Ditto Arceus, to even Charlotte before she was nerfed. The police force lost a very valuable Gorwlithe when he was given to me, but he's done more then his fair share.

  5. If I remember correctly, when I battled Noel Arcanine, Magnaton, and a combo of Heat Rock/Drought Vulpix with a Chlorophyll Venusaur using Solar Beam/Sleep Powder/Growth/Leech Seed wrecked him. Magnaton dealt with Swellow pretty easily, and Venusaur was able to sweep after a single growth until the drought ran out.

  6. (also tell me why you didnt trade that growlithe for a powerful azumarill in jasper just want to know :P)

I can trade for one? =o I'll have to breed a growlithe then

It WILL happen. The RNG will give you a Fire Stone. It's just tedious. You shoulda seen my attempts at mining Heart Scales.

XD I've been finding heart scales all over. Heck, I just found a rock with nothing but heart scales. X3

  7. I've been doing the save/reset thing. =/ I don't have many places left I can look. Right now I'm trying in the cave that's right under the giant set of stairs in North Obsidia Ward. I can only hope that I find it soon.

  8. I curse the RNG, I curse the RNG with all of my might. I've never had good luck with RNGs. >.< Here I can't find a fire stone no matter how hard I try, Fire Emblem it gives me the worst stats, D&D it always rolls a 1 when I am doing something. GYAAAAAAAAH!!!! DX

  9. Are we absolutely CERTAIN that you can find a fire stone while mining? Because I've been mining for the past 3 freaking weeks, and I've found plenty of water stones, thunder stones, sun stones, moon stones, ever stones, each of the available fossils, and heart scales, but no fire stones. Like...even when I first got the mining kit, I've been on the hunt for fire stones and I have never seen them. Just how rare are they? DX I need one for my Vulpix, and I already used the one in the volcano.

  10. Seaking and Arcanine for me. I'll be honest, I don't often use fire types. The only three I've ever used before Reborn were Blaziken, Typhlosion, and Delphox, other then that I saw them as a waste of my time. But by the great Lord Arceus, Arcanine is a monster. He's gotten me past every single major challenge to date, from the PULSE Abra and Arceus to Charolette's team. Even more surprising is the fact that I ended up with a modest Growlithe when I rescued the police officer, so I'm not even using Arcanine's attack stat in these battles. Though his Special Attack is through the roof.

The other one is Seaking. Once again, I don't really use many water types, and generally I stick to Gyrados, but Seaking is turning out to be surprisingly useful in battles. I found that Seaking did amazingly well in most battles and is a good utility pokemon, what with it having Waterfall, Dive, and Surf. Seaking even gave Charlotte's team a good run for her money.

  11. Randomus was the easiest of the gym leaders for me. I had Leila, my Gardevoir, use a pair of Calm Minds and swept him. Poor Gossip never stood a chance. =p The one Dark type gym leader, I forgot her name, was easy as well thanks to a Drought Vulpix with a Heat Rock, and a Chlorophyl, Modest Venasaur with growth.

Without a doubt, the hardest gym leader was Charlotte. I'm not sure if I battled the nerfed version or not...she had a Typhlosion with Energy Ball. Either way, her team was annoying. I finally had to resort to training up a Moody Remoraid that I had caught. The second hardest would have had to have been the grass gym, simply because I lacked any fire types due to the Vulpix event crashing my game for a while. And my bird pokemon weren't exactly strong...

Fun side note, I never bothered to EV train my team while I played. X3 Battles were still mostly east, except for Charlotte.
