I kinda butchered my previous message lol, but the bottom line is: in Persona 2 Innocent Sin there is a guy whose feelings for the protagonist are STRONGLY implied, and in the PSP remake they are actually made fully explicit, and you are given the option to openly reciprocate them. So yeah, it is still kinda lacking because there are only 3 possible options for a love interest (two girls and one guy) but hey, better than nothing I guess.
