  1. I'm in Victory Road, and Fern was just shooting arrows at me. Titania just saved me from the minecart, but she didn't shoot past far enough, and now I'm trapped in a wall with absolutely NO way of moving. And what's worse, is that because of how weirdly the endgame road is designed, and how easy it is to soft lock, I'm saved at that point. If I try to restart, I end up in the same situation over and over and over again. I think it's a bug, but I have no idea if it's something the mods know of. I haven't been on the forum in years! If it's a Mac version issue, I have no idea.

  2. Radomus is royally ticking me off right now. I swear I can't beat him!

  3. Hey there. I'm coming back. Ngl I fell off of Pokemon Reborn for two reasons. 1. The laptop I was playing my original game on broke hardcore, and was basically unusable, so I'm restarting. 2. There was a part of the game that I couldn't pass no matter what I tried, so I basically quit. Now, I'm back and have a log way to go to get back there. So, anyone have any advice for a returning player?

  4. Sometimes I can't tell what the heck I'm doing wrong. I've got a strong team to beat the three back to back battles. But I keep getting screwed before I even complete the Cain Shelly battle. Either my Ninetales or my Charizard, who I need both to survive get killed right when that broken Scolipede/A.Muk combo come out. Maybe the RNG just hates me.

  5. But I'm starting to regret the fact that Cain and Shelly are friends with my character. I;m struggling to get past their battle in the Glasswork Factory. And the worst part is I know that isn't even gonna be the hardest part. So, this really just for me to vent frustrations,, and hopefully  get some advice.

  6. I'm trying to evolve a pichu into a Pikachu. My dumb self didn't think to get a soothe belle before leaving to Agate Circus. Is there no other way to get a Soothe Bell?

Earthquake on that field gains an additional Rock typing, and Steelix is 4x resistant to rock, resulting in an overall 2x resistance to Earthquake.

Oh. It never said mentioned anything about that during the battle. Usually I see it in the text, but not once during that battle.

  8. Okay. Been long past this point, but I just wanted to point it out and see if anyone else experienced this or if there was a legitimate reason for this. Okay. Remember the Steelix battle after partnerinf up with Sapphira? Well, when I battled that Steelix, my Golem used Earthquake. Then, it said not very effective. 😕 Uhm. If I remember correctly, Steel type pokemon was weak to Ground type attacks. So, why did that happen? Is it a bug or intentional? And did it happen to anyone else?

  9. I swear I'm developing a burning hatred for ground types because of Terra. It's bad enough her Garchomp is OP, but her rejuvenating Quagsire is almost as annoying.

  11. So, I saw on the spreadsheet that Beldum becomes unavailable after going to Agate Circus. So I thought, "No biggie. Just go get one before then. Plot twist. When I tried after beating Radomus and after beating Luna, neither times did the event trigger. Then I thought, "maybe after battling Samson I could get it." Then after beating Samson and saving after because I always do because Gym leader battles in this game are intense and once I beat one  I never wanna have to battle them again, I realized I can't get one. So, is there another chance to get the Beldum or am I just SOL?

  12. My problem is stated above. I just haven't specified what the problem was. Once the cutscene that leads to the Blakeory Atheneum fades to black an error message pops up basically saying the files need to continue are either inaccessible or possibly corrupted. idk. Here's my scriptdata.

    Scripts.rxdata

  13. Okay. For V12. After the event in the ruins. Once that futuristic hoverboard guy shows up and does whatever he does, scene changes to the library in the Scholar District. Once the screen fades to black, the whole game craps out. And by "craps out" I mean it pops up an error message that says some scripts had an error occur or that they're missing. I'm using a Windows 10 Desktop to play on.

  14. Does the debug just not work anymore? I downloaded it, added it to my V12 data file and it doesn't do anything. I even tried removing the original scripts.rxdata file and replacing it with the V11 scripts.rxdata file. The game wouldn't even load. Then I tried the same thing, but renaming the debug file scripts.rxdata. Same result. If I need the old V11 files for this to work, then something ain't right.

  15. Is there a sword dance TM or do I have to go to the move tutor to get it? Cause if I do, how am I gonna keep the move and get to the Glass Workshop without losing swords dance? Cause the only pokemon I have can learn Rock Climb (A move I need) is the same one that I need to learn rock swords dance.

Hi, a strategy I would recommend for the 2 double battles is focussing on one side then the other. The single battle should be used as a time to attack then heal any wounded mons when you get to the last mon. In terms of team, I would replace a few items on your mons, looking at Lucario and Gallade especially. Replace rock climb with either calm mind or swords dance (depending on whether you want lucario to be physical or special based). I would replace dive with aqua jet on your Sharpedo. I would replace strength for something else on that Metagross, you can reteach it later if needed.

Just take your time and be cool, don't be afraid to raise your mons levels up slightly (around 91/92 should be fine).

About raising the levels. Until they take out the disobey your trainer thing (which will never happen), I can't risk it because I always lose a turn. And the reason I have Lucario and Gallade is because of the dark type user, as well as the fairy type user. (I have a work for the dark type user, but not the fairy-psychic team.) Metagross would've handled both with ease, if gen VI hadn't done the dumbest thing ever and removed Steel's dark type resistance.

The gauntlet sucks and there's no way around that.  I would say a bit of luck and a change of move-set would help you beat it.

For Sharpedo there's no use in having waterfall and dive for this battle.  I would suggest changing one of them to swagger because a confused opponent hurting themselves and losing a turn (especially in the double battles) can lead to a total change in outcome.  You'll just need to have a heart scale to learn an old move.  If you don't want to use swagger I would change one of the moves mentioned above to aqua jet or surf (since surf can hit multiple opponents in doubles).

For Lucario I would change one move (probably rock climb) to swords dance and make aura sphere into either extremespeed or close combat.  Never underestimate the power of any Pokemon with a swords dance or two, especially one with a great physical move-pool.

Also for Charizard I don't understand why flamethrower and heat wave are both chosen when you could change it for a better coverage.  Maybe look into that?

Either way I think teaching Sharpedo swagger and spamming double team with Gallade could just give you enough luck to beat the gauntlet after a few tries.

If all else fails train a destiny bond user to take out the big Pokemon in your way during these battles then bring them back with revives and repeat.

I'm iffy on stat boosting moves because I feel like being over powered and outspeed will make them useless. .Is swagger really a good suggestion? Giving opponents a stat boost, when it almost never has a worth while pay off (because for some reason my opponents never face negatives of confusion and my pokemon do at the standard random times) is just unwise. But, I'll try Swords Dance. Lucario will need the power boost. And is there a stronger Steel type move than metal claw for the fairy type user?

Charizard knows Heat Wave for coverage. It damages both opponents pokemon at once.

Waterfall actually helps a lot with Cain and Shelly (Alolan Marowak, Nidoking, Volcarona)

  17. I don't think I'll ever get to the Hardy battle with this freaking gauntlet in the way.

Get the Protect TM and Sharpedonite if you don't already have them (Protect is from the coin flip guy in Blacksteam Factory, mega stone is in North Aventurine Woods). Mega Sharpedo should be able to one shot Mismagius with Crunch and Protect allows you to get a Speed Boost before mega evolving.

How do I get the TM? He keeps just getting/giving money. Edit: Nevermind, I got it.

Edit: And now the final battle is being a pain in the neck. Could they have made these battle any harder.

I highly recommend teaching your Charizard the move "Heat Wave", it helped me swipe a lot of their mons

Thanks for the tip. Most of the pokemon i was told earlier can beat the gauntlet are either unavailable or too slow to level up.
