Whoa, that's cool. My vacations are almost described in a few words; sleep, eat, video games, cry, and sleep.

In all seriousness, I don't really have a plan to take a vacation as I don't really have anywhere to go. XD

Well, you guys I have to share it with you. You know the best trip I have been on was 40 miles from my home. I took my bike 2 of my best friends and went for a ride. It got dark we couldn't go back in the darkness so we decided to stay at a nearby motel. The following morning went at the beach and had great time. Since then I do it every summer. My point is to call it a trip it has to be somewhere without any obligations and with people you love. So don't just stand there think of something you could do. Although I have to say eat sleep beach videogames and a book is the best for me too

Well, hi my fellow trainers around the world. The summer is approaching and we all know it and also hate it (if we still have end-of-semester-exams). However, around July I am going to take a trip to Germany. Especially I am gonna go visit Hamburg, Kiel and Berlin. I have been in Germany quite a few times(7 times visited Hamburg,Kiel and 1 time Muenchen) but I have never been in Berlin before. So I want you to tell me what do i have to visit there(Berlin), where to go.... you know that kind of staff. Also are you planning any trips for the summer? If you have Greece in mind I can help you!!!

Meh. I need to get this off my mind somehow.

I hate having absolutely zero confidence. I hate this complete and utter lack of self-esteem.

I wish I could just once do something and get the enjoyment out of it that I hoped I'd get, instead of feeling overwhelming dread and shame.

I wish I could go and socialize with people without having to constantly force it into my consciousness that hating me is not the default mode of every person I ever meet.

I want to know what it's like to try and talk to people without thinking after every sentence "But what if I'm annoying them?". I don't want to feel like I have to apologize for talking.

I'm trying my best to overcome it because I feel it'll be worth the effort, and damn it, I want to stay and fit in. But I hate that my brain makes it seem so scary.

Not to mention I'd have better chances if I were less... weird.

1st problem (KE+mc²)²=c²p²+m²c⁴ so you can solve for p=3^(1/2)mc= mvgamma so solve for v which is v=3^(1/2)c/2

2nd problem E(eV)=1.24/wavelength(micrometers)=10 eV so max KE=E-W=5.5eV you do the same for the second part of the question

3rd problem Centripital Force=mv²/R= kq^2/R^2= Coulomb you find R from bohrs theory and then solve for v and thenyou can find alpha

4th problem Δλ=λ_c(1-cosθ)=2λ_c=2h/(mc) so you want Δλ/λ_initial*100%

5th problem ΔΕ=Ε₁/4-Ε₁/9=hc/λ solve for the wavelength when E₁=13.4eV r_n=n*r₁ for the nth excited state

6th problem is the same with the first find the momentum and then you can find waveength by the De Broglie formula...

yeah this should be pretty simple, just differentiate twice while treating y as a constant, then differentiate twice treating x as a constant

you should get:

f_xx = 2e^y

f_yy = x²e^y

you also have f_xy=f_yx=2xe^y

As for me I am just about to get my Physics Major and hope to continue with a PhD in High Energy Physics/Particle Astrophysics at a University like Cornell or Brown etc(word here is NERD). Well it seems that Ep.15 is coming in May... Why does this have to be also in May? What I am supposed to do? Watch the world series of poker, play the new episode of the best pokemon game ever, watch the Roland Garros Grand Slam, study for the university exams or start my undergrad thesis? Finding items of pokemon is always RNG based, I remeber it once took me an hour to find a heart scale off a luvdisc. Though I'm pretty sure comundeyes works, when i used it to find my black sludge i found it on my second trubbish as opposed to the 25 it took me without it in another hack but yeah I might try to do some more solid testing now.

Yeah I know, i have written quite a lot of RNG programs in c++ but the question is what does this RNG algorithm use for a seed (time of my pc perhap?s)and If the generated numbers are completely random to one another or is there an equation for the next number?

Yes, it is working as the first horsea i got has the scale. My question to you is that did you put it in the first slot of your team? The ability works even if the pokemon has fainted.

I got my Dragon Scale on my second Horsea and make sure about what Kaze said. Compoundeyes MUST BE first on your party

Well I am really pissed! Does this ability works for you(CompoundEyes)? Or how does it work in this game? I am trying to catch a horsea with a Dragon Scale so as to make a Kingdra... I caught 23 of them with a CompoundEyes Galvantula at the front slot of the party and nothing yet!!! I think that horsea has 5% chance of holding Dragon Scale so with the Compound Eyes the propability should have been 20% which means 1 Dragon Scale every 5 pokemon. However 5% means 1 Dragon Scale every 20 pokemon! Is there a horsea with this held item or its just me without any luck at all?

[Hardest/Easiest Gym Leader so far?]

Actually for me the Poison duo was piece of cake because i love Psychics. Actually before i play the real match against the Gym leaders I test their pokemons. I defeated them (Poison Duo) in my trial battle. Same goes for Kiki and Sampson. Hardest for me was obviously Luna but not so hard though and Charlotte due to the field effects

wow, didn't know there is a real topic for Charlotte. So as i remember there are only 3 gym leaders that have own topics for strategies to defeat them: Noel (mostly Noel ), Florina (that Cradily as i remember) and now Charlotte. And for Charlotte, all i did is Flygon with Rock gem (for Rock Slide to kill both Volcarona and ninetales). Other than that: Spam Earthquake when my Staraptor wrecked every- single- thing with Brave Bird....(don't even need Drizzle Politoed or Rain Dance)

You know the thing with Noel was pretty much speed, to gt rid of cinccino and swellow because of their good abilities. Its difficult to stay alive after a hit from those two. Oh And a good attack for obvious reasons. I've got this things in my first team (Crobat,Alakazam,...) Florina was such an easy target with my starter Chimchar which by that time was already Monferno so... Now with my first team: Gyarados(without raindance... i know i should have had it), Gardevoir, Infernape,Vanilluxe,Crobat,Electivire Steelix and Alakazam and with no other good water or Rock type Pokemon except Golem which is the third team of mine i couldn't have many chances... Thats why i had some probs at the first two times. I also overgrined my first team (everyone was 70 Lvl). I suppose i could have bring out myUmbreon Blissey Gengar Golem combination for hypnosis confuse rays dreameating earthquaking and healing but when i saw the double battle i thought.... PERISH SONG and i just wanted to beat a fire type with Ice so....!!!

Nice strategy! I'm impressed.

Mine was far less inventive than that. All I did was set up rain dance, set up a shell smash on my Omastar, and then proceed to sweep both Charlotte's and my own team at the same time with surf. Omastar was the only pokemon on either side by the end of it.

You know i realized before facing Charlotte that i didn't have any poke with rain dance and with Gyarados and Empoleon the only well trained water types i didn't have so many chances.... Surf huh??? Of course surf came after rain dance, right? Intresting yeah i like the rain dance approach . Pitty I could not make it rain!

Wow, nicely done. Mine was more or less the same thing as Sheep. First turn I had Clorophyll Venu put Typhlosion to sleep, and used a Rock Gem Crustle to wreak her. Than when Venu went down, I used Blissey to set Rain Dance. After Crustle was knocked out I brought Gyarados in, set-up a Dragon Dance and swept her team with Aqua Tail, using Blissey's turn to heal Gyarados.

Wow I like your strategy better!!! The way you coordinated Blissey the Tank-Healer and Gyarados the Force!!!! It's really amazing

Well, hello! It's my first post! Yesterday I had definitely one of the most intresting pokemon battles of my life as a trainer. Charlotte was all over the place! She sure is the most challenging AI trainer I faced til now. Especially with this super heated field which was an enormous advantage for her team... Sooo I had an idea to make a topic about the team and strategy you used to beat her. Here is mine:

1. Golem Lvl 65 Sturdy Earthquake

In the first round I threw out Golem and Vanilluxe for me to get rid of the SuperHeated Field in case Vanilluxe survived the first two attacks and quake the shit out of the opposition with Golem. However that plan was futile because the first flamethrower KO Vanilluxe wich was replaced by Gyarados(Golem was about to use Earthquake) and the other attack targeted golem which hung on with Sturdy.

So two pokes of Charlotte were down due to Earthquake. Now my plan was to faint golem so as to use 2 cotton candies I had,so as to revive Vanilluxe and Golem to repeat the first round. And the second plan didn't work because gyarados wouldn't faint. So instead i brought Emboar to do some damage with Head Smash. That plan worked I knocked out Rotom(3 remaining pokes for Charlotte) but Gyarados fainted and Emboar was still alive. Now I could almost taste the win because my secret weapon was about to appear...Altaria! Now Perish Song was about to kill them all!!!

Altaria and Emboar and a waiting Golem were there for the Grand Finale. Emboar hung on with 1HP against the flamethrower of Volcarona, but he was not so kind as to not kill Volcarona with his Head Smash (x4 beacause Volcarona is Bug-Fire). Altaria used Perish song and everything was over! She couldn't switch but I had Golem with Sturdy Nidoking and Vanilluxe with full HP, a nearly fainted emboar and a half-HP Altaria with Cotton Guard(!!! drasticaly raises defense 4 stages) to survive 3 rounds. And I did it!!! Now it's your turn! What's your amazing story????
