  1. I *love* that Kobalion. And I prefer the second Virizion, actually.

The Darmanitan looks awesome as hell, love the gradient.

I decided to try my hand at Mandibuzz too, following the suggestion in the first post (red coat):

    630s_zpssgh1l670.png

I...actually based it off the colors of the USSR flag, so that combined with my shiny USA Braviary, we can have ourselves the Cold War...! :P

I was thinking about that but Vultures are not Russia themed, maybe some Bear like Ursaring but Ursaring is Gen 2

  2. Gen 4, 5 and 6 (as a whole Pokemon/story/music/region etc) are best on my book (games and remakes)

I don't mind the cons of X/Y like "too easy" b/c it's a game for kids and not for adults like us

The pros are more of the cons on my book and the Big part for me on cons are the 3D models

For sure gen 4 and 5 are above 6 on things like story but still gen 6 are top

Well maybe XZ/YZ will have some more to show like B2/W2 are in lot of terms better than the B/W

  3. OK, so I decided to play Glazed 1st and I must say, man, it was such a major disappointment. The game was way too easy for a ROM hack and gets ridiculously buggy in Johto. I mean, for instance once I got to Cianwood city, I literally lost access to my bag? It no longer shows on my menu.

The game's graphics are the best I've ever seen on any ROM hack but that was pretty much all there was for it, IMO. I liked some of the features like the EV training dojos but overall I think the game is very overrated.

Ιn fact most of Rom Hacks are Overrated

  4. Well it would be helpful if there were a bit more info explained in game, cause outside Word of God and popular fan theories there are the occasional bits of fridge logic that creep up. Yes we all pretty much know that Noel's gym was the orphanage, and that Charlotte only seen her gym once while her mother still ran it and you are her first challenger, etc but none of that is in game(or hidden very well if it is).

There is a section in game where it is explicitly stated that all gym leaders have backups assigned to them but except Aya's case it is never mentioned who is a primary gym leader and who isn't. For all our characters know everyone inside that orphanage are backups, not primary gym leaders. Think kind of like an assistant manager. They still have the authority to give you challenges and thus give you needed badges for progression.

Theres also been strong evidence that no one, or very few, has even challenged the Reborn League in the past decade. Remember the situation is so bad that you the player as a known experienced and capable trainer are brought in by the head of the Reborn League to challenge it and solve the ongoing issues. If the league was a kitchen youre basically gordon ramsey(maybe not that famous in the game but you get my drift). Also would be nice that if this is true, to be made more clear in game.

There is a lot of topics with bit of puzzle like pieces like those I posted and you can take the pieces and solve the puzzle

The problem is that the whole game would be ruined if we put the story on one thread so get some notepad and get ur notes about the story and you will found the answer

    Have fun with this

  5. Ah the Noel one. Thank you, i'm gonna remember that one.

But neither that is his official Gym, it's like Charlotte

Never was a challenger before us (the player), Noel's gym is there as long as he is live on the Orphanage but neither that or Belrose Mansion are official his Gym (Before the story begin 10 years ago)

Also extra info for the "plot holes" Sigmund, Lin and kids stuff + Interview

  6. The doctor's name is connal, by the way. Saying "who cares" is one of the worst ways to look at stories in general. The entire reason stories exist is because people care why and how things happen. Preventing the leaders from being challenged for their badges at all halts progression in the league entirely, especially considering that one of the elite four (apparently at the time) was with them too. "It doesn't matter because we got the badges anyway" is a terrible response, too. I expect an amazing story to make sense as a whole regardless of what the player does. At least, good stories are like that.

What he tries to avoid so he is not answer you is the spoilers

Finish the game first and come back, or even better search for the answers on past threads

  7. The Salamance thing makes sense, forgot about Heather for a moment.

And see the Steelix with Titania? That's weird indeed, do you know what thread is? I looked for it and I don't think that I will be able to find it... But I still thing that Mega Scizor would be a better option :P

I have to do some house works and after that I will search about this thread

    Edit: Here http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=11963&page=2&hl=%2Btitania+%2Bsteelix#entry279783

Well not so clear as I was remember it but still....

  8. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Ciel's ace Altaria? So maybe that's going to be her mega. (if she's going to have one) With Titania wouldn't make more sense for her to have Mega Scizor? I don't know what mega she used for the PO League, so I'm just guessing. And with Sapphira Mega Salamance? I think it would make more sense than a Sceptile I think.

Well I went on another route with Aces to be the last Pokemon before the Mega and not the Aces be the Mega for multiple reasons

Besides, it is not necessary Aces to be the Megas

First of all the Aces we see on the Leaders page are outdated as many times have stated by many and Ame herself, Second I make Adrienn's Mega to be Altaria so I change the Ciel's Ace.

For Titania, Ame one some thread about that Gigantic Steelix left the suspicion that we will see it again with Titania (Weird indeed, many was asking why Titania when Sapphira was the one who controlled it last time) so maybe we have some Mega Gigantic Steelix? Even no Mega Aggron is even better as wall so why not?

And for Sapphira when we have Heather with Salamence it's almost 100% that she have Mega Salamence too

    SO TL;DR = Pluralism

  9. So, with the new episode in development, I thought of a new field that might be cool to have, and gives Flying-types some love (like they really need it).

So here it is: Windy Field

    Gale Warning.

    · Started by Tailwind

    · All Flying-types gain a Speed boost

    · No Ground-type moves can be used

    · All damaging Rock-type moves are picked up by the wind before being thrown at the target, dealing between x0.8 to x2 damage

    · Whirlwind hits for type-scaling Flying damage

    · Gust and Twister deal additional Flying-type damage and lower the accuracy of all pokemon on the field

    · Gale Wings gives +2 priority instead of +1

    · Hurricane always hits

    · Sound based moves have a chance to fail, and a chance to be returned to the user for half damage.

    · Camouflage change user’s type to Flying

    · Nature Power becomes Air Slash

    Suggestions:

-This field effect is summoned by:

Delta Stream, using Tailwind while a Tailwind is already active.

-The following moves always fail (the powder disappears in the wind):

Spore, Sleep Powder, Stun Spore, Poison Powder.

    - The following moves are executed in 1 turn:

    Sky Attack, Fly, Razor Wind

    - The following moves gain a 1,3 increase in power:

Heat Wave, Razor Wind, Special Flying type attacks

    - The following moves gain a 1,5 increase in power:

Silver Wind, Fairy Wind, Icy Wind, Omnious Wind.

    - The following moves become Flying type and gain 2x increase in power:

    Weather Ball

-Entry hazard moves become attacking moves instead, not applying the hazard but instead dealing 75BP damage to all opposing enemies, with one additional effect:

Stealth Rock: Rock type damage, high crit rate.

Spikes: Steel type damage, lowers Defense by 1

Toxic Spikes: Poison type damage, may cause posioning.

Sticky Web: Bug type damage, lowers Speed and Accuracy by 1 each

-Pokémon with the following abilities take half damage from all boosted attacks (see above lists):

    Steadfast, Sturdy, Suction Cups

-The following moves terminate the Field Effect:

Defog, Gravity, Sandstorm, Sand Stream (because of sandstorm, the wind will only pick up sand instead, losing all prior Field Effect functions.)

    That sounds good!!
