  1. Honestly, when I first read that, I thought it was Arceus who said that...but now that you mention it, it could very well be Celebi. Wow, I didn't even consider that it might be another legendary besides Arceus. I figured Arceus was just using El as his playtoy and was enjoying all these events.

  2. I think I found an Attack on Titan reference, once. It was a long time ago, but I still remember where: That area that makes up the intersection between the Grand Gates and Lapis Ward. That area with like a bunch of people. Somebody made a reference like, "On that day, mankind received a grim reminder." I laughed so hard when I saw it, seriously. And I'm a pretty big AoT fan. :3

  3. I started training Gyarados and it's only a few levels away from the rest of my team. I don't plan on using it, though, until the Dragon Gym or unless I get too close to the max level before my Pokemon stop listening to me.

You're right about it being capable of being used in a solo run... This thing is impossible to level up! xD

  4. Heh, this is all too true. But honestly, I've been using nothing but pokemon I like, and I can say I'm doing quite fine.

Delphox is amazing. Seriously. Especially when you get Grass Knot and can kick rock, water, and ground type pokemon's asses. Will-O-Wisp helped with Arceus and Abra (I couldn't touch Garchomp, though, that thing was too fast). I can easily say that I'm not regretting choosing this pokemon as my starter so far.

Shiny Pidgeot! Granted, it's not the strongest pokemon ever, but it can take hits pretty well and heal with Roost whenever something threatens to bring it down.

I trained Noivern mostly because of the Gen.6 hype and the fact that it's the only dragon pokemon you can obtain early on. Turns out I won't be regretting this, either, because of Super Fang, which means that when I want to catch a pokemon, I don't have to risk killing it, and bulky pokemon aren't really much of a problem anymore... I know I'm a noob looking for ways to make my experience in this game a bit easier T-T (did I mention that Noivern also has Roost?)

Sharpedo isn't exactly one of my biggest favorites, but I liked it enough and I needed something for the rock gym. :P

And my newest addition: Rotom! I haven't really gotten to test this thing's potention, but it has Substitute, and hex (to be combined with Delphox's Will-O-Wisp), so I have a feeling this guy is going to be at least decent.

Gyarados? What Gyarados? I have a Magikarp sitting in my PC, I think. :P

At any rate, I have to train some extra pokemon. I might consider Gyarados if this thing really is as amazing as people say it is. And Absol. I just don't like training pokemon I don't really like...but I like Gyarados enough.

  5. Anna, for sure! I love her adorable personality and I like weird kids, heh. I think her powers are very interesting. I wonder if we'll learn more about them later on.

Cain comes pretty close behind. He's just plain awesome.

I kind of have mixed feelings about Saphira. The way I see her, I wouldn't put it passed her to try and kill an innocent character. She seems too rash, to me, going off and just killing everyone who seems like a bad person. But maybe that's just me.

  6. I love "To Lesser Depths". Is that weird? Lol. I remember the first time I heard this, I knew there was something clearly wrong. Now, all I can think of is the underworld, when I hear it. Especially after that Litwik and Ghastly scene. That was creepy. 0_o

  7. Ummm, am I the only one who completed chapter 13? People keep mentioning Amauria and Titania, and all I can think is that they're dead. I mean, everybody else who showed up on Shade's 4 main screens died, soo...

Anyways, based off the into we have, one could say it's Randomus. He seemed like a good character, but that's honestly what points to him. He mentions something about light and dark not always being the way they seem and that light could be more blinding than dark at times. I feel like that's some indication. It would be so creepy if Shade turns out to be the spirit of the former leader of Team Meteor.

And if somebody would mind reminding me: What part hinted that Titania was a part of Team Meteor, again? Sorry. xD

  8. Corey turns out to be alive and joins Team Meteor again.

It's definitely going to be Shade. Duh. I wouldn't put it passed him, though. >.> Now in all seriousness, I wouldn't put it passed any (alive xD) Gym Leader. It could be Julia or Saphira or Hardy or even Shelly. I dunno, I just don't feel like I know enough about any of the Gym Leaders to trust them not to join the bad guys. And don't get me started on Shade.

  9. I love the Kalos champion theme (or the wild pokemon theme in this case) and think of this when I hear the actual thing. I don't know why I love that remix so much, but it's just amazing to me. Same with that one trainer theme with the trumpets. God, I love that one!

One I really remember well, though, is the one titled Crystal. I think that one is a remix to the spire of Mt. Coronet, but I'm not completely sure. And I love the fact that this piece only plays in mysterious places (such as places with those weird doors and hidden places).

But yeah, it's pretty much what the others have said: All the music in this game is amazing.

  10. Thanks, everyone, for your input! I have a bad memory, so all those timeline splits mentioned here I forgot.

Amethyst: I figured as much lol. I don't even know if it's possible to make a bunch of connected endings in these types of games, I was just making a guess. That makes the most sense. I can only hope I did everything correctly so I can get that extra bit (though I highly doubt I'm going to get that ending with the extras; I'll probably have to end up watching a Youtube walkthrough of what happens in that).

The only reason I thought there would be a lot of endings is because of the information certain characters gain --or don't gain-- during certain splits. I figured that ignorance of those certain characters would end up making things happen differently towards the end of the game. Maybe I'm wrong, though. Anyways, we'll see how things go.

  11. Wait, but how did it happen? I know the image on Shade's screen of them happened, but what actions did the player have to do that shows the timeline split?

That karma system would actually be pretty cool! (I actually didn't know that about Corey and Skuntank, I'll have to check into that. Thanks!).

  12. So, Amethyst has talked about the fact that there might be different endings in this game. I think it'd be kind of cool to have something like a bunch of bad endings and some have to be reached to get to the real or "good" ending (kind of like in 999 or VLR).

I think the Shade's gym scenes are indicators of the bad endings. These are the splits I know of, so far:

    *WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD*

-I didn't get this path, but I did read of some people saying that if you save all the police officers before battling the bad guys in Beryl, that they'll reveal that Corey's an agent of Team Meteor in front of his daughter (or something along those lines)

I have no clue where the split might've happened with Titania and Amauria or if it even happened yet. Maybe it has something to do with deciding to go down the waterfall at a certain point?

And we haven't reached the most grim one yet: The leader of Team Meteor exploding (I think that was her, at least). I think that one's the deciding factor of what ending you'll get.

I also noticed that that quote by Shade ("So dying souls offer the keys to your gain...

Let not them suffer to the poison in vain...") appears in more than one place (Gym and Wasteland) and that Corey's and Kiki's grave both appear there, too. Maybe that's an indication of the splits that happened already and that something to do with Titania and Amauria will appear when the split with them happens (again, correct me if I'm wrong with this one). Another thing I noticed is that you get a Pokemon for both Corey (Croagunk) and Kiki (Ghastly), but not the other two.

I just hope you don't have to start all over again with this different ending business. That would be disappointing, since I caught a bunch of cool shinies and all. Not to mention that I barely defeated all those gyms... >.>

Have you guys noticed any timeline splits that might've happened in other parts of the game?

What theories do you have on this?

    Comment below.

  13. I'm having the same problem, too, except I can't upload mines here because I have to access the game from the file that's too big to put on here (The thing with the books. I can't play the game from the actual icon file thing because it got configured). If I have to start over, I'm quitting this game because it took me a lot of work to get to where I am.
