[Arthur and the rest of the class] Setsuna heard. Arial was busy speaking her mind very loudly. It would actually be quite amusing if the information she was leaking was not so morbid. Even now, she was standing at the side of Arthur's desk waiting for his reply to her apology. Her mouth curved up into a smile. She had found it. One of her leads which she had thought to be a wild goose chase was actually still viable. The archeologist she was referring to was likely Ike Johnson, the man who she attempted to find at the Port the day before. If she was right, the man would be at the beach. Therefore, what she should chase was obvious. Going after the Ice Queen was dangerous and they were nearly killed by her. She had no definite information on her and no reason to believe that she would not follow through with her warning from before. "The Ice Queen can wait, then. I will not let you escape me again, Ike Johnson." Moreover, Arial seemed to be putting suspicion onto Anna, who Setsuna definitely had some suspicions about. So, she took out the D-Pad in her bag to message Dominic about the lead involving Ike Johnson and continued to wait as she listened to the little burst of exposition from the teacher who she pinned some suspicions on. She cringed at the amount of coincidental connections that she was insinuating. The armored man, the archeologist she was searching for, the late teacher, and the current one were all connected. She then spoke up. "I met the Michitaka guy as well. He even introduced himself to me after he knocked me over at the entrance to the hotel yesterday. Whether or not he had made some oath holds no weight on the matter. He was there." Setsuna was not sure why she had said it. It just popped out. Perhaps she did not want to feel left out in this exchange of information. It was at this point that Setsuna realized something. She had been allowing this talk of the supernatural to actually be normalized in her. She seemed to be accepting it for some reason…no, it wasn't just some reason. The encounter with the Ice Queen she had yesterday was definitely far from natural. Ice...Icy...Is...is...? Maybe she's a priestess of Isis or something of the sort. She did have darker skin from what little I saw of her. Setsuna rolled her eyes at her train of thought. I've been reading that novel series waaaay too much.

I have to wonder how things can get better after this.

So, I had forgotten that Magi existed for the past couple of months and decided to catch up with the manga and holy crap has the series gotten really depressing. The conclusion to the Aladdin/Alibaba-Judar/Hakuryuu fight was just...wow...

8/10 Pretty good looking sprite.

[Arthur] Setsuna was fairly tired. Her attempt at looking for information the previous night on the masked girl ended up pulling a small amount of information. It seemed that she was generally given the moniker "Ice Queen" due to the fact that unconscious people were found partially frozen in the area where they had met her. However, there had been no fatal accidents so far and the victims had no recollections of the events that led them to their states. This had led everything about the so-called Ice Queen to be classified simply as an urban legend. In the end, Setsuna penned whatever notes and observations she had made about the Ice Queen (as well as the information about Ike Johnson) and what details she had seen onto a file in her laptop and D-Pad as sort of an investigation log. She figured it would probably be a good idea in case her investigation ever hit a dead end. The first thing she decided to do was find Arthur. She needed to apologize for running off. So, she went straight up to his desk and placed her hand covered in multiple bandages on her desk. "Um…hi, Arthur. I'm sorry about running off yesterday. I felt that if we spent too much time there, we might end up losing our lead…though certain circumstances led to us not being able to find him anyway."

How much information can one find about the Ice Queen can one find if they were to search the internet and attempt to cross-reference rumors and what not? That's kinda where I left of my last post on the Chapter 1 IC Topic. I did say I want Setsuna to be the Nanoha to the Ice Queen's Fate, after all.

Finally watched the first two episodes of Nanoha Vivid yesterday after I got home and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it. I was worried that the shift in art style would affect it (and frankly, it does somewhat--Nanoha looks weird in the Vivid anime art style) but frankly, it doesn't really irk me at all. Hell, the only issue I had is that all references to events in StrikerS (mainly the Cradle Incident) that were in the manga don't seem to be anywhere. No mention of the Cradle…at all… On another note, I finished the third season of Dog Days. As usual, I enjoyed the series. If only there were some actual war games during this season. Last one we saw was in season 2. Once I catch up to Cinderella Girls, I'll finally start the Spring Season series on my list.

[Dominic] Setsuna took a deep breath and sighed. The danger was finally over. She had a few cuts and bruises on her hands. Her face was feeling a bit weird due to the dried tears. But, Dominic was safe and it looked like there were no signs of hypothermia, surprisingly. She looked down at him only to realize their position. It was at that moment that her face turned fully red and she realized what she had just done in her near frenzy. She immediately stood up, waving her arms around. "HAUAUAUAUAU! I-I-III-I--It's getting late so I'll see you in school tomorrow, then! Make sure you get some rest!" She had no clue what to say and she knew that this was going to leave him hanging but it was way too awkward. After all, even though he was a friend, he was still someone she had only even started talking to not even 12 hours ago. So, she got embarrassed and ran off eventually catching a bus back to the Central Square as soon as she got to the station. Once she got home, she locked the door behind her and stood in the entranceway while leaning against the door. In the end, we got no information and were nearly killed. She kicked off her shoes, put on the slippers and walked into the dark house. She eventually reached the phone in the living room and saw that her parents had left a message saying that they had to stay at work late due to unforeseen circumstances (as usual). Setsuna slowly made her way to the medicine cabinet to put a large number of bandages where her hands were cut and made her way to the flowers on her windowsill to water them. "I should probably apologize to him for leaving him hanging...and Arthur too..." She sighed as she finished watering the flowers and sat down at her laptop. We never found the Johnson guy and now there's the girl with the mask and the ice powers…and I don't feel like leaving either lead unchecked. But the girl in the mask...she felt so...isolated... Her thoughts trailed off. I want to know more about her. I want to be able to talk with her. She started tapping away at the keyboard while wincing every so often due to the pain from the cuts. So the first thing I need to do is find information. With someone as mysterious as her in the city, there are bound to be rumors and urban legends surrounding her. If I can find them and analyze them and their origins, I can narrow down some accurate information. She took a deep breath before continuing. Alright! Let's do this, then. Day 1-Setsuna: END

[Dominic/Important Action] "HOLD IT!" A shout from beneath Setsuna reached her as she was about to smash the rock again. She stopped the rock in mid-air and looked below her to see that she had at least broken the ice above his chest and face. He should at least able to breathe fairly normally at this point. A wave of elation washed over the flower girl as she saw this and she set down her hands on which the palms were covered with a large number of cuts due to her firm grip on the rock. The not-so-athletic girl took the opportunity to exhale deeply after the intense amount of exercise. "Thank goodness," she gasped with her face still covered in sweat and tears. "Thank goodness you're alright." She took a few more breaths before picking the rock back up and moving to his arms. "Hold on a bit longer. I still need to free your extremities." Setsuna began to make finer and more pinpointed movements as she repeatedly hammered at the ice surrounding his arms and legs. "So just hang on. I will get you moving again in no time." The fear was no longer there. Instead, she now had a determined smile plastered to her face. After all, the biggest danger had already passed. "One more thing," she said. "I'm sorry for dragging you that way and causing this mess. I was too careless."

I didn't even intend to make that pun. XD That being said, I will fix that part of my post when I am at the airport tomorrow. Didn't have time to work on it. Just ignore that part for now since those are just a space for Nagi's thoughts. Her actions and expressions will not change. -

Just don't get too engrossed in the equations when you do study it. They will zap your time if you try and do so. -

FoV also varies based on the condition of the lenses in your eyes and not because of EM. -

When you learn enough science and engineering, creating realistic seeming powers can get really fun and the amount of BS you can pull and get away with also gets really big. XD Source: This biomedical engineer I will be honest, when you first mentioned versatile electricity powers, my first thought was Mikoto.
