  1. I like the sticker change idea. It doesn't have to be one floor every (other) badge or anything; it could just be specific floors linked to specific badges. This type of change would fix the issue of people playing earlier episodes having higher floor access due to changes later removing said stickers.

  2. The Sunkern Trade is updated to where you get Mime Jr. instead of Gothita, which can be obtained where Ralts used to be.

For the Tyrogue, I have no idea if there was weather conditions for him to appear. I know he's on top of the Research Center in Route 1.

You just trade dunsparce to the guy on research center roof to get tyrogue. There's no weather requirements, and you can repeat the trade if you have multiple dunsparce.

  3. Neither of those has anywhere near enough offenses handle the sonic booms. They are essentially fodder that will get off 1 hit before fainting. Pineco isn't strong enough to even take out something with self-destruct. Primplup.. (or god forbid Empoleon) would have to carry it.

  4. Probably should replace gengar's dark pulse. There's very little reason to use dark pulse on gengar, as it offers the same coverage as shadow ball, but does not get stab. You'd be much better off using something else to deal with normal types, than to try kililng one with dark pulse.

  5. I wanted to do steel, but just couldn't stand the thought of grinding piplup to some insane levels and hope it obeys enough times for julia... Those fixed damage sonic booms hurt a lot if you can't ohko them.

  6. I'd vote steel type, only because it's brutally painful at the start. Fire type is much much easier given how good the fire starters are early on, while poison type has been done very recently.

PS: Flying type monotype, does that mean mandatory charizard starter?

  7. Unless you have a very good computer, using animated sprites is generally a bad idea. The game tends to freeze/crash if your computer isn't good enough. If you are absolutely sure your computer is good enough, then they are perfectly fine and stable.

  8. You could pick up a diggersby now if you want. A EV trained adamant diggersby with decent IVs can solo pretty much everything except for the garchomp, arceus, and gengars, leaving quite a bit of freedom for team member choices. Just one with random natures/IVs with no EV training can still easily take out multiple pokemon.

  9. Because even with like 28 IV, 252 EV. and Adamant Nature, EQ and all of Flygon's attacks still do less damage then I expect every time I use it.

Flygon is my favorite pokemon man. It's upsetting for me too.

Because base 100 attack really isn't that high without items, especially with gym leaders typically having higher leveled pokemon. Failing to OHKO and getting OHKO'd in return by stray ice punches or HP ice makes flygon's life rather miserable.

  10. Probably could do it.

It may involve creating custom moves instead of modifying the old moves, and change the learnsets to the new custom made moves. -OR- Creating elseifs in the conditional check for having specific moves; depending on how essentials has HM interaction coded.

  11. I pretty much only use level balls on the main playthrough, makes catching stuff really easy (especially by sending out the way overleveled pickup HM slave.) For really high level stuff, I just set time to night and throw dusk balls.
