When Kenny heard Ethic's voice from seemingly outta nowhere, he decided to go forwards with his plan, even if it meant more trouble for himself. Then, he Opened up two Portals that were forty-five feet apart vertically and both one foot in front of him. Then, he simply jumped into the closer Portal, falling downwards towards the Opening below him, gaining velocity. Then, before he fell through for the second time, he angled the exit portal at a forty-five degree angle from being horizontal, using his momentum to fling himself through the air towards the Maze's Exit. As he flew through the air after the Arc was added to his trajectory, he lost consciousness, falling to what would be his death where he would land in the maze. -
And sometimes, we need to move with the times. Imma think with Portals for my next trick.

For future reference, i'm going to make Kenny's power do something humiliating and funny if it backfires when he's trying to use something other than the Healing Beam, such as that cloud that just taunted him, for example. I've got something special in mind for the Healing Beam, though... you'll just have to wait and see what it is.

Kenny eventually woke up, and noticed that he was back in the Starting Room. making a mental note of this, he walked through the doors, and then stopped, thinking to himself. Wait a second... perhaps there is a more efficient method of going through this Maze than just walking... He then tried to test his theory, and attempted to open a Portal connecting the locations forty-nine feet above him and a foot in front of him. Unfortunately for him, what happened instead was a small black cloud of smoke appearing in front of him and then- Did it just grow a face and then thumb its nose at him?! In his outrage, he whacked at the cloud as it dissipated, and got a minor headache for his troubles. -
No, Lifoam is most likely 3, since it sounds so much like a Water Type. and since Roobber is confirmed as not 2, that means it is most likely 1, with Eufur being 2 if that is the case.

However, we tried both permutations of the "Roobber is 2" combos, and neither were correct. Therefore, Roobber is not 2.

OK, so Roobber is NOT #2. good to know. Updating Guess... My new Guess is as follows: 1: Roobber. Since it isn't #2, then it is most likely this one, seeing as it also sounds like a Battle Cry. 2: Eufur. Process of Elimination once again. 3: Lifoam. Same as my last Guess for this Starter.

I beg to differ on the order, Ceph. Here's my guesses, and their reasonings: 1: Eufur - it was the last pairing i had, so i used process of Elimination for this one. 2: Roobber. This Cry sounds the most like a Battle-cry, so it would naturally go with the Fighter, which is Roobber in this case. 3: Lifoam. This Cry sounded much like the classic "Water-Type Starter" base that it's hard to ID it as anything else.

Kenny had noticed the drop in temperature upon his arrival, pulling his robe closer around himself as he muttered under his breath. "Dante didn't mention this blasted cold in his book... then again, he didn't mention many things." He then looked upwards, towards the plaque. "Such as this, for example." He knew that things were about to get serious upon spotting the phrase "Abandon all hope, trust no one and nothing." Kenny pinched the bridge of his nose, and then looked upwards. However, as he did so, Kenny noticed that the walls were merely 15 feet in height, and smiled, thinking to himself. They never thought to think outside the box when they designed this maze, now did they? Kenny then Portaled up to the top of the walls with a bright blue flash, smirking to himself. Things just got a whole lot easier. Circle's end, here I- Agh! He was cut short by a massive headache, and grimaced. I should've known... Then, he fell unconscious for the next five minutes, remaining face-up on top of the wall. -
Umm... one question: What happens if his Coin lands on its' Edge?

If it's OK with you, I'll be using IRL Dice for DnD-style "Checks" to determine some things, such as observance, aim, and so on. I've got a set of seven Dice, and i'm able to choose from a 4-D, 6-D, 8-D, two 10-Ds, a 12-D, and a 20-D to determine the outcomes of these checks. from time to time, i might even leave a code of what turned up somewhere in my Post. It'll be my method of curbing my Sue-ish tendencies so that we all can enjoy this RP to the fullest extent.

I can make out even more details. The Player is probably the one facing the Captain, and i can see that one of the rivals has blonde hair. I'm pretty sure the redhead is probably an avid fan of using Fire Types.
