  1. I'm still here; Anna wouldn't really be interested in a drawing at this point. I can make an IC Post of it if you want.
  2. "Routes of Hazzard!" - Turbulence - Jack Jack grimaced as he saw Lara speed ahead of Meena, but then spoke, an annoyed look on his face. "Lara, stop and let Gomez hit it, then hold down the vines to help him!" In response, Lara came to a screeching halt, teeth losing the black aura as she waited for Gomez's vines to pass her and successfully hit it before going in to help the gecko hold it still by standing on the vines to anchor them to the ground with her weight. However, she did give a bark at Titan to have the rock get over to her and help her hold down the vines, knowing that she wouldn't be heavy enough to do it on her own.
  3. "Routes of Hazzard!" - Regroup! - Jack Once he heard Jason's plan, Jack smiled, then spoke, eagerness clearly evident on his face. "Now THAT'S a plan I like!" He then turned to his partners, grinning. "You two heard him! Go for it!" In response, Lara sped towards the Watchog, teeth glowing black as she prepared to grab onto the Watchog once Meena had made it stunned, and would try to hold it as still as she could. Leonidas, meanwhile, simply walked over next to Apollo before turning towards the Watchog, ready to run at the Meerkat with electrically-boosted power the instant that Apollo used his move.
  4. That's why I had Jack suggest using some of their 'mons to hold the Watchog in place. You all know of Aesop's Fable called "The Bundle of Sticks", right? Right now, our Trainers are acting like the individual sticks.
  5. I'd take a raincheck on that guess if I were you. Viri.
  6. "Routes of Hazzard!" - Jack Jack spoke to his fellow Trainers. "I have an idea, guys, but we'll need to work together to pull it off! Have some of our Partners hold the Watchog in place by the limbs while the rest of our Partners do the attacking and support the attackers, and have them attack from the same direction! Additionally, attack from the sides that the Holders aren't on!" He then turned to Lara. "Lara, on my first signal, grab one of the arms, and make sure that the Watchog doesn't move." Jack turned to Leonidas. "Leonidas, on my second signal, hit him with everything you've got from one of the sides that doesn't put any allies in your path." The two quadrupeds both gave acknowledging noises, but neither of them made a move to attack just yet.
  7. Light is just Electromagnetic Radiation, so I think we should treat it the same way as we did in our fight, since lasers are also made of light and fire is just another form of plasma.
  8. Ricochet v. Hellfire Knight Ricochet's shoulders sagged as he saw the oncoming wall of incandescent plasma. He then shrugged, knowing that the match was about to end, and said something loud enough for the entire Arena to hear him. "FAD Mechs always were a bit tricky for me... Well fought, Hellfire." Then, he was hit by the wall, and his mech was rendered unable to continue fighting once the plasma passed, falling backwards as a result.
  9. Ricochet V. Hellfire Knight Ricochet grinned, being a good distance away and behind his opponent. Hellfire's grab at Ricochet ended up merely inflicting a small ring of dents on the mech, despite the successful grab, seeing as he used his Six-Point Bonus's Teleport to get out of the grasp of his opponent as she was saying her Special Ability's name. Noticing that his opponent had stopped firing their guns, he used the opportunity to fire off three missiles from his Missile Launcher at his opponent in quick succession, squinting his left eye each time he fired off a missile. Then, since he'd run out of missiles in that clip, he squinted his right eye in order to trigger his Laser Gun, giving his Missile Launcher time to reload itself. All of his shots were aimed at the center of the ball of plasma.
  10. OK, then, Four Missiles Per Clip it is. [EDIT]: I'm pretty sure that ALL of Hellfire Knight's guns are deactivated when the Ability is triggered, but I could be wrong.
  11. two Questions: what is the missile capacity of Missile Launchers, and do they auto-reload?
  12. Ricochet v. Hellfire Knight Ricochet knew that he would've been in for it if it weren't for the tricks he had up his sleeve. Putting on an extra burst of speed, he used all seven points to rocket towards Hellfire Knight, ready to lob a punch at his opponent as he got closer, aiming to hit the midsection of the opposing mech with his punch, and he'd use all five points of melee to do so. Even if he missed, he'd keep on running until he reached the other side of the arena, then turn to face his opponent again.
  13. Ricochet v. Hellfire Knight Ricochet kind of expected that Hellfire Knight might go for something like a barrage, so he made the most of his situation by using part of his high speed stat to get to the side of and slightly behind Hellfire, only going at the speed that a 6-point mech could manage, hiding his seventh point as a way to catch his opponent off-guard at a later time. Immediately after that, he turned towards his opponent and squinted both eyes, triggering both his Missile Launcher and his Laser Gun simultaneously as he aimed at the point where one of the 'wings' joined the body. After that, he ran to the other side, not caring if he'd hit his opponent or not, maintaining 6-point speed as he did so, trying to stay out of his opponent's field of vision.
  14. Ricochet - Arena, vs. The Hellfire Knight Walking into the Arena, Mech already summoned, Ricochet knew that he was up against an opponent that used a FAD Mech and was one seat higher than him from the data that had been provided and from what he saw. Before starting the fight, though, he looked around the arena, allowing his suit to scan it as he turned a full circle. After scanning the arena, his HUD gave him the details on what the arena was composed of, and his targeting crosshair appeared on his HUD where he was looking. The crosshair was two small circles next to each other that showed where his Laser Gun and Missile Launcher were targeted at the moment. As he continued to glance around, the targeting reticle changed location and size to match the proximity of the surface he was looking at, the shoulder mounted weapons changing their angle in sync with the reticle. His Armor Integrity Map also popped up in the upper right-hand corner of his HUD. At the moment, there was a blue outline around his opponent, indicating that they were far away enough for him to successfully use his Special Attack. However, instead of busting out the move immediately, he decided to look at his Opponent's Mech a bit more closely, trying to locate the weakpoints in its' armor.
  15. "Routes of Hazzard!" - Jack Jack saw Leonidas' Opponent go down, and then finally issued a command, having waited. "All right, Leonidas and Lara, You two did well, but I'll do the decisions now. Leonidas, Charge. Lara, Howl." "Routes of Hazzard!" - Leonidas Leonidas heard Jack's command, and set up for his next Attack. To do so, he bristled, Electricity gathering to him in preparation for his next attack. "Routes of Hazzard!" - Lara Lara heard Jack, too, but was a little confused at his command, but decided to just go with it. So, she howled fiercely, her resolve to fight increasing even further as she did so.
  16. "Routes of Hazzard!" - Leonidas A loud crackle could be heard as Leonidas bolted towards the Patrat, speeding in like a lightning bolt gone horizontal. as he ran, the electricity around him seemed a lot more intense than what it would've been, thanks to the charging-up that he'd done. "Routes of Hazzard!" - Lara The blue-eyed opponent having been taken down, Lara was a little scared when she saw Apollo speeding towards Gomez, knowing what would probably be the result. Her heart pounded in her chest as she watched the situation unfold, frozen with fear as the firey monkey barreled onwards.
  17. (Do Nothing, Do nothing) Ricochet was the next to step forwards, bowing respectfully as he spoke. "I am Ricochet. It is truly an honor to meet you, Lord Sleeping Bear." Then, he returned to the line, waiting for the god to tell them about the circle.
  18. So does introducing yourself to the God qualify as your verbal action?
  19. A good character takes time, but I'm mostly finished. If there's any problems with it, I'll do some more editing.
  20. Anna shrugged, expression returning to neutral, then laid back on the bunk she was sitting on, her luggage having already been placed at the foot of the bed. As she laid down, she spoke. "Fine by me, so long as I get the lower bunk that I'm on." She then waited for her other roommates to speak, looking at the underside of the bunk above her as she waited, hands behind her head and elbows out to the side.
  21. Anita As her fourth roommate arrived, and the ensuing antics occurred, Anita mentally facepalmed, annoyed at her Nayran Roommate's contempt and surprised by the fact that her Laylite Roommate wasn't of the typical kind. However, during all of the action, she made no obvious physical movements other than breathing normally, easily hiding how on-edge she'd become. As she was sitting on the edge of the lower bunk on her side of the room, a thought passed through her head, and she made a barely-perceptible frown. Good grief... not even a day has passed, and already the stereotyping begins. Her annoyance was soon assuaged by her fellow Alexian Roommate's actions. Even so, she was still rather mistrusting of her other two roommates. Despite this, she introduced herself, not even moving from the edge of her bed as she did so. "The name's Anita Lotensio. Just call me Anna, it'll be easier for all of us." However, as she continued sitting after introducing herself, something that she'd heard in what Lilith had said in her own introduction still bugged Anna. She almost introduced herself as her own Goddess... That's rather interesting. I'll just keep a low profile and be nice to all of them, no matter how frustrated with them I get. It's worked out well in the past, so it'll probably pay off here, too. Esyllt would be easy enough to get along with, but her mistrustfulness would be harder to overcome for her other two Roommates, as the deep, dark purplish-blue, and seemingly emotionless twin abysses that were her eyes showed. It wouldn't be impossible for those two, though... ((OOC: Sorry I'm so late to the party, I got held up by Real Life.))
