So there's a new earlier location of the itemfinder, but apparently it goes away after a certain point. I've looked in the slums but haven't been able to find it.

After beating Florinia, head back to the slums where you first entered and look for Sigmund. He's not far from the entrance. It cuts off after...I wanna say the second PULSE?

I think it's Titania's fault if Fern is the asshole we all know. She traumatized Florinia somehow (we should learn more about it in E19), and as a result we have Flobot, with a complete lack of affection towards her brother. Remember one of the first scenes when Fern was not full evil yet? "Permission for you to be life-endangeringly reckless: Granted." These are some brutal words, even more when they come from your own sister.

    I hate Titania, really.

Honestly, I'm hoping the reason is good. Wonder what it could be, cause it has to have been something kinda severe.

Do we know yet if the elite battles will be in a singles, doubles .. or triples format?

    (or a mix of)

I believe Triple Battles aren't going to be implemented in Reborn. I can only guess as to what the formats are gonna be, but if I had to guess...

Laura/Bennett are going to be a Double battle (assuming Bennett is there, if not, I still think it's gonna be a Double Battle). Either way, it's for the Sapphire Bracelets.

Elias is going to be a Singles battle for the Emerald Brooch.

Heather...tbh, I don't think is going to be fought at all: I think Lin will have Sirius somewhere in her lineup, and he'll replace Heather. Doubles, for the Ruby Ring.
Anna will be a Singles match to even things out for the Amethyst Pendant.

And while I'm making predictions...I think Lin's going to be fought in a Doubles match for the Championship, either with the PULSE-Arc as one of her own Pokemon or as her partner for a 12v6 scenario because why not.

Life orb everyday. The Ferali crest looks kinda useless.

The Crest does a bit more work than you think. Sure, the loss of power from Life Orb is a downside, but getting Strong Jaw on Crunch, Ice Fang, (and Psychic Fangs if you breed) is nothing to sneeze at. The real value is the +1 priority on the first move you get: that makes Feraligatr a pretty reliable revenge killer that can come in and hit hard. Honestly, if it could get Flip Turn it'd be a solid pivot.

I see a lot of complaints about EV training rooms.  As far as I know  they become available after Valarie.  Which is earlier than when the bosses start having some mons with specialized spreads.   Is that not enough?

I don't think you can head back to East Gearen to use them until later in the game at that point, and even then, you need to unlock the gates with the cards you get at the AP Center. Plus, in the last version, they were available at the start of the game (though you still had to unlock a few, you at least had HP and Speed rooms to use).

This is actually one of my biggest problem's with Rejuvenation as a whole: it got a lot harder, but it didn't give us the proper tools to handle this increase in difficulty, to a point where it's painfully tedious, even with Debug enabled. I can handle not having certain Pokemon available until later, but when it feels like you need the right Pokemon plus the right sequence of events to happen (and for RNGesus to answer your prayers), it gets old fast, especially when the AI is just a little too good at what it does to make planning out the winning play that much harder. The AI and RNG in particular is probably the biggest offender here: in something like Dark Souls, when I mess up I know it's my fault, I just need to get better at reading the enemy. Here, it feels like I kinda need to just take a dartboard approach and just see what sticks to get anywhere cause either the AI can predict what I do, or RNG is just gonna decide that I don't get to put people to sleep for more than a turn (and it happens more than you think on Normal mode). This isn't a 'git gud' scenario like Reborn, this is 'reset until everything goes right' scenario and it's annoying.

Edit: I would also like to add that I am incredibly disappointed that I can't even evolve the Feebas until halfway through the current content. If the forms are rare to encounter, it would be a delightful to be able to evolve a gift pokemon early since it seems like it could be very useful in some situations. That could be a nice quality of life change and a great way to reward players as they grind. I've put in almost 60 hours and I'm only at the end of Chapter 4. Who knows how long it will take me to get to the point where I can actually evolve it.

You can evolve it once you get the Aquamarine Ore in the cave leading to Teila Resort: it's behind a rock you need to mine and use Blast Powder on. Trade the Ore to someone in Kristaline Town (after you beat Angie), and you'll get a Prism Scale. Have Feebas hold it, then use a Link Heart.

  7. I feel like Rejuvenation got a massive boost in difficulty and no one really realized this until after it's release. Like, yes, Rejuvenation has always been hard, but now it's gotten to a point where even with debug, even with giving myself pretty much anything I can get in-game (perfect IVs, good natures, EV training, the works), I basically have to pray to RNGesus to get anywhere, and I'm still making my way through old content (I'm on Chapter 14 with...little over 136 hours.

And that's with Debug and cutting out the middle man. Imagine how much more time I'd have to take if I had to grind. Hell, I beat V12 on Intense faster than this.

I like the game, and I'm sure the develops will roll out patches that'll address problems (please just give us back EV training at the start, I do not understand why they moved it.), but as of now...mm. I wonder how casual mode is, cause I may just have to say to play that for the time being.

  8. Hey, I'm well past the point where the Snag Machine was fixed in the last version of the game, and I was wondering if I had a bug of some kind or if it just got moved back and I just don't know. First time I really noticed I couldn't catch a Shadow Pokemon and felt like I should was when I was dealing with a Level 1 Shadow Slakoth.

    Is that just me?

butterfree should easily sweep it with sleep powder, you could get an voltorrb from the vender at teh bery emporium or an pachiruchu at night time in the velvet buildin, but i am not sure on the last one

Problem is I didn't teach it Sleep Powder. I could probably Reverse Candy it and level it back up to relearn Sleep Powder, but I dunno where to get the Candies I need (also really don't want to do even more grinding.) I already have a Pachirisu, but don't really want to grind anymore. (No easy places to do so.)

UPDATE: I managed to get a prayer answered from RNGesus and beat Venam. Holy hell, glad that's over.

  10. Man, either I'm doing something wrong or y'all decided Intense Mode was coming strong right out the gate. I cannot get past Venam with my team (and believe me I've been experimenting and grinding for the past 2 days). Team is currently Butterfree, Beautifly, Spoink, Voltorb, Shuppet, and Koffing. Any advice would be appreciated.

  11. OK, so new problem. I'm at the part where I gotta meet Erin and Melia and go the Scholarly District, but for some reason I can't find Melia and co. I beat Souta, I had Melia open the box...am I missing something? I've been up and down the route, been in the District...IDK where they are. I accidentally registered for the Grand Dream Tournament awhile, did that affect anything?

  12. I've had a couple bounce around my head for awhile.

Luxray Crest: Biting moves get a 50% boost in power (AKA Strong Jaws) and Luxray becomes an Electric/Dark type.

Roserade Crest: Speed is increased by 1.3 and gains the Storm Drain ability.

Gigalith Crest: Attack and Special Attack are swapped (This is more of a gimmick and would require some additional Special attacks, but it's an idea.)

    Salazzle Crest: Gives it Merciless
    Toxapex Crest: Gives it Corrosion

  13. Spoiler

So I heard there is a way to get Poipole in Episode 18, and it involves talking to a girl in Agate City about my Pokedex. I read that you need 731 Pokedex entries as well. My question is: do I need to CATCH 731 Pokemon, or that I need to SEE 731 Pokemon? Thanks!
