Ah, thanks Hilda. I don't think this was asked for (at least I didn't ask for it) but I certainly appreciate you taking the time to write it. I'm as guilty as anyone when it comes to potentially cracking down on necroposting a bit too much. It's very easy to get into tunnel vision about stuff like this, so I'm glad for the guide so long as it's agreed that the parameters that you've outlined are appropriate guidelines for us. As for it's placement? I'm pretty sure this is the best place for it. Now excuse me while I pin this one. Your posting in your own guide to the X door locations is a perfectly good example of when necroposting is appropriate. We have no issue with people updating their own threads with relevant information. Generally speaking we shouldn't have any issue with other people bringing info either so long as it's relevant to the topic. As for whether or not it'll get pinned, that probably depends on how important they all end up being.

I've already told you about double posting before. Please don't do it. Anyway, don't worry too much about close combat against Escavalier. It's only neutral not super effective.

But Cinccino is naturally much faster than Ninetails and has skill link rock blast. How on earth did that work? Anyway, as for an Escavalier moveset, I used x-scissor, iron head, swords dance, and double edge, but iron defence can come in handy too. Additionally it can learn megahorn by breeding with a Scolipede if you're into breeding for moves.

Shroomish and Breloom have certainly been obtainable in the past though I don't think Aerodactyl ever has been. Bulbasaur used to be obtainable as an event but has subsequently been replaced by Chikorita. I'm not sure if that event was reset, but it could account for 3 more. Also, technically by manipulating the episode you're playing there's a way to get Sneasel. Honestly though, if you want to know how many pokemon are obtainable in the current episode why don't you just count the ones that aren't on the obtainable list and then subtract that from the number of pokemon there are total, accounting for the fact that you can only pick one starter?

Ah, yeah. We get this one a lot. Well, looking at your team initially I can say that Chesnaught and Ninetails will be very useful for this one. Butterfree should be able do do a bit of work against his Girafarig too. Pachirisu may or may not come in handy against his birds, depends on how well it can take a physical hit. Honestly though I don't see much that Slurpuff or Delcatty can do here. First thing you want to do is make sure you're leading with Chesnaught. It's difficult to outspeed Cinccino but Chesnaught can take any hit it wants to throw your way with relative ease and OHKO that annoyance with a hammer arm. Ninetails is a bit of a win condition against Noel because his field effect increases the power of your fire type attacks, synergising well with drought and stab for easy OHKOs on the things you outspeed. It also resists fairy which can be useful for his Clefable. As I do with everyone who is struggling with Noel, I'll recommend Escavalier. This thing is a beast at this point in the game and will clean up a large chunk of his team, or go at least 1 for 1 with one of his flying type threats. It's also very useful for the next 3 gyms after this one. Durant is a similar pokemon who trades out bulk for speed, with a little more power and a little less reliability, also it's nowhere near as good vs the following gym but if he's more your style it's an acceptable alternative.

Anyway, the only thing I can think of is to make sure you've got pokesnacks, and that they're in the medicine pocket rather than the items pocket. In order to switch their position, give them to one of your pokemon to hold, and then take them back again. Now, I'm locking this topic. Aren't the flower colours just randomly distributed? I remember when I caught one I would step on the same flower repeatedly and get all of the different colours.
