Speaking of diving, I noticed that the lake in the Tanzan Cove is now dive-able... And the guy who resigned from Team Meteor at the Beryl Cemetary (Simon, iirc), kept talking about how the love of his life drowned at the bottom of that lake, and that he won't treveal any secret to the player for now... + we got Dive in this episode... hint hint ?

Nope, you can avoid this unstable rock by the left. Try looking carefully for non-obvious paths
-
Not yet, I think. Shofu should continue his playtrough soon.
Have you tried pushing Crustles down the ledges ? (I assume so, given the fact that you managed to reach the TrollWaterTunnel in Ametrine Moutain). Where are you stuck precisely ?

Strasbourg sure is a great city to visit ! Living at the other side of France myself, I went there three or four times in my life. If you are ever to go there, make sure to do so during winter holidays - Alsace is very different when Christmas approaches. The decorations and atmosphere makes it very impressive !

Why wouldn't Titania be linked to team Meteor ? We already met her speaking with a grunt in Aventurine Woods, and the whole "don't get involved" speech to Hardy makes her kinda suspicious to me. Therefore, I wouldn't be surprised if she revealed herself as an ally of Team Meteor.
Or maybe she's a double agent and retrieving the Sapphire Pendant (and possibly faking Amara's death along the way) is the best way to gain Team Meteor's trust. Whatever, this game's plot is too dam complicated for me.

HELP
in Reborn City
I forgot who Amaria was, who was she? I forgot how I first met her @.@
She's the one who helped the player destroy the Muk-Pulse (and, by doing so, stopping Team Meteor from polluting the Azurine Lake). Remember that lvl 75 Lapras ?
One of the diaries in Julia's & co room in Florinia's Gym also belongs to her.
We're probably going to face her soon, given the fact that the current level cap is 70.

Turtwig on my first run. Torterra OP. Bulky and shit.
I'm now using Froakie... Protean. <3 Best way to trick the AI.
-
That's a glitch inherited from the 4th gen games, no big deal.
-
There is a problem with your guide to Shelly's gym puzzle. I followed it stricltly to the line that says "- Go back across the bookcases and turn on the left monitor". Problem : you can't go back to the bottom of the room. Can't remember how I did it but your instructions are wrong. I'll try to go back to that gym and see where the error is.
Apart from that, good job again, your guide is pretty accurate.
-
Started a new Reborn game, I'm also following your guide to see if they aren't any mistakes.
Aaaand I spotted one : you missed one question on the monitors in Florinia's Gym.
"At was level does a Cubchoo evolve ?", the answer being 37.

Try using the Itemfinder to loot everything around Reborn. You'll end up with a lot of stuff (there's literally one item every five tiles), some of which can be selled for decent amount of money.
You could also Payday till you get rich, but this method is far more boring.
-
Oh, allright. Already found him in a previous version. Guess I'll keep it in case it becomes useful with Heather, otherwise I'll just sell it.

Does anyone know where I could EV-train easily in Attack, Sp.Attack and Speed ? I found the 9-months old topic about EV training spots but I hoped that someone could help me finding better/faster areas to train in.
And what is the use of the Silver Ring ?
-
Oh right ! Forgot about that. Ludicolo seems good then. I'll try him. Thanks
-
Yup I'm currently spamming the Item Finder everywhere. I guess i'll just stumble upon the TM someday.
Ludicolo sounds good, yeah, but.... At first I thought about choosing him... Helps covering both Fire&Water types. But then again, movepool ? There's no Giga Drain nor Surf in the game yet. Hydro Pump's accuracy rate is quite low. No Energy Ball. No Grass Knot. Nature Power could be fun with the new fields mechanics, but that's all..
Seems like Azumarill is the only choice.. Even if I am a bit too lazy to spend time breeding shit together to get him to learn Aqua Jet >O<
EDIT : I need Water & Fire coverage. What about Lanturn ? Pretty tanky, covers both types, a decent natural movepool...
-
Thanks for your advices guys. I'll think I'll go with Dragon Pulse for Lucario in case some dragon takes down my Gardevoir.
Vinny, how do you get Roost on your Crobat ? I thought such TM wasn't implemented yet.
Gyarados doesn't appeal to me, his movepool is currently too useless to help, I think (Draco Dance sounds nice but he'd add a Rock weakness to the team and would only bring water-type move, because Mamoswine already learns Ice Fang).
Azumarill wouldn't disturb the team's balance but he'd only bring a water-type move, just like Gyara, wouldn't he ? What movepool would you suggest ?
I think the only type which could cause me trouble is currently Fire (no real counter actually, even if Mamoswine's Thic Fat would help him placing Earthquake). Therefore, I'd need a water or dragon type Pokemon..
Flygon sounds good, learns good moves even in Reborn, but.. Aaargh, I don't know. Strategy with half the Pokemon & only a few TMs is too damn hard !
-
In fact adding Galvantula would make a third weakness to Rock (only countered by Lucario but the enemy's likely to have a ground-typed move as well), however adding Kabutops would make a fourth weakness to fighting + a third weakness to ground (only countered by Crobat)... and I tried resetting like 50 times to get a Dome Fossil but got bored. That may be because I'm a Helix cultist.
Thanks for the mistakes by the way (even if I just forgot about the "t" in "not" ). I switched Attention to Inner Focus, forgot to translate this one. Speaking of that, wouldn't Lucario be better with Steadfast ?
-
Hi guys. Before getting started, I'd like to mention that I'm French and, being a non-native english speaker, I hope you will forgive my mistakes and still be able to understand me.
Sooo I just finished ep11 and started building a balanced team to deal with pretty much every threat to come. Not being a great strategist, I came here hoping you'll be able to help me.
I translated all the names/moves from french to english but if something is wrong, don't hesitate to tell me.
Here's what it looks like :
1- Ruthvan/Crobat - Inner Focus
- Acrobatics
- Cross Poison
- Roost
- Confuse Ray (?)
2- Enigma/Gardevoir - Synchronize
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Calm Mind
- Charge Beam (?)
3- Acheron/Lucario - Inner Focus
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Ext.Speed
- Dragon Pulse/Metal Claw
4- Scorch/Houndoom - Early Bird
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
5 - Ganesh/Mamoswine - Thick Fat
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Strength (?)
- ?
6 - Dyonisos/Ludicolo - Swift Swim
- Rain Dance
- Energy Ball
- Hydro Pump
- ?
As you can see, a few moves are missing.
I am aware that I have three fighting weaknesses already, but Gardevoir and Crobat have double-resists to combat moves, so I think that this team is stil pretty balanced.
