Considering Natsume's announcement today of the second game in their "not Harvest Moon" series, I thought it would be cool to chat about the beloved farming simulation series as it has come from Natsume and the original series continuing on with Marvelous & XSeed.
A full-fledged HM game on mobile/PC!

Cool. No judgment or hate here. Not sure if you used any pics of someone without their consent as Sophie, but as long as you take them down and maybe apologize to the person in question if you know them ... then all is good. Kudos to you for being brave and honest

They really tricked us with Chrom lmao but we've had several male FE protagonists in the SSB series so I guess they decided it was time for a girl and a character who can switch between girl/boy

Oh man...I didn't even see the 2 Pokémon per player limit on the first post...that was extremely stupid of me, I just asked Beef for six Pokémon and he said yes? Wow I'm really sorry I don't know Beef I had no idea there was a limit I should definitely not have gotten six of them
????add; I did pay for six of them but you guys are so right, I have no idea why he didn't enforce the limit with me :-0

Thanks Beefkek!!!! He bred six Pokémon, two shinies, four with custom IVs in two days for my order, all perfect even with the genders I wanted!!! Seriously he's the one to go to

This is a really deep question but i like it; I want to save a life. That sounds kind of ridiculous but just one life. I would like to be that person who was the reason someone's life continued on instead of ending. I don't even mean that in a suicidal kind of way necessarily, but anything really!

it felt so incredibly good to have a gym leader I didn't have to agonize over but I'm not expecting that to happen again...especially when Ame gets wind of this topic

If there isn't a Battle Frontier in this game...that was XY's biggest flaw for me. when the game ends, I love having a good, HARD and entertaining battle area with lots of variety. haven't seen a really good one since...ruby and sapphire! so you bet I want one that's as good or better in oras. Also crazy excited for Secret Bases in 3D, just because as a kid I loved them so much
Also really hopeful that Latias is in Sapphire and Latios in Ruby again because I've got my eye on Mega Latias and I already pre-ordered Sapphire

I play Reborn on my phone/tablet by using remote desktop, but you still need a computer available to do anything unfortunetly.
Does the computer have to be in the same general area? And does it work on iOS? Thanks Tempest

Yeah I have to vote no because Dashie already has a great guide that's covering the gym leaders it's pretty much the complete package so why bother making anything else

Personally, I played through Zeta and I liked it but it didn't stand out from the crowd as much as I thought it would. Some cool features like Secret Base and 120 level cap but I didn't love the story or the grinding. Wasn't as rewarding as Reborn grinding. As for other RPG maker ones, Pokemon Godra is the only other fan game that comes close to Reborn - it's choice driven, with a jobs and a relationship & good/evil system. I like it a lot! Also Pokemon Sage is worth a try. It's a game made by /vp/ on 4chan which means it's got a lot of talent and work going into it, but it's only in the first beta and goes up to the first gym. The entire dex is Fakemon, but good Fakemon. Another one with an entirely Fakemon dex is Solar Light/Lunar Dark which is an okay game (lots of grammatical errors) but the most incredible Fakemon I've ever seen in my life. Overall, Reborn and Godra are the best. Most ROM hacks I've played I'd say don't come even close to the RPG Maker games, but I've heard Glazed is good and I like Light Platinum, Flora Sky, and Ruby Destiny.
But to answer the OP, I honestly don't think any game out there is as good as Reborn

I think it's a smart decision considering the circumstances. I'm just crazy happy that the Reborn game is still full steam ahead -

TLV was a disappointment to me mainly because there was no town! the whole landscape was so barren, and I think the minecraft-style editing was supposed to off-set the drab background but it did nothing. And I kept getting stuck and having to warp back to my house and start over. I felt zero connection to any of the characters because there was no town, and they all just sort of wandered...aimlessly....
