  1. I won't deny that Fate can be vague, but from an RP standpoint I can't let that high a level of vagueness through, I'm sure you understand Next I would like you to clarify the mechanics of the second Phantasm as well. The way it's written I can't tell if it's intended to function like Gate of Babylon or like Knight of Honor
  2. Right, so, before I say anything else, I have to nope that third Phantasm. While the effect is fine, it's far too vague on the conditions under which it functions
  3. Second Medusa is amazing,. Her NP goes from doing .-. damage to doing O_O damage
  4. ^^^Formalcraft is a good consolation prize *she says after sadfacing when she rolled hers*
  5. Oh, good point. I didn't even consider that

There have been magical girls throughout human history, fighting and dying. Without the tsukaima’s influence humanity would still be living in caves.
  7. Guy1: "Wait here for a moment" Guy2: "I will wait here and die" Such optimism

  8. >Youtuber talks about a raccoon but can't remember the American name for it >>Comments fill up with "you mean a raccoon" >>>Guy posts on every one of those comments with "It's Not A Raccoon Only Americans Call It A Raccoon" Don't you just love YoutTube?

"And then told each and every one of them to go and die. Individually. And then you closed comments."

  9. Welp, no Medea Loli on my roll (or anything good in general) Gotta wait for my luck to recharge after Souji-chan I guess

Character (RPer): Classes: Bold their primary class, and list all classes the Heroic Spirit qualifies for. Alignment: Uses the DnD system of Good vs Evil, Law vs. Chaos. This is a general idea and not a binding statement. Parameters Strength: The physical power of the Servant. All parameters are rough estimates; ranks are used for comparison purposes almost exclusively. Endurance: How much punishment the Servant is capable of withstanding. Agility: The Servant's speed, dexterity, and reaction time. Mana: The amount of magical power a Servant possesses inherently, as opposed to coming from artifacts or magical weapons. Luck: How lucky the Servant is. Phantasm: A rough estimate of how strong a Servant's Noble Phantasms are overall. This can be higher or lower than any of the Servant's phantasms. For example, a servant with many weak Phantasms might have a high rank, while a servant with a single Phantasm that is powerful but costly might have a lower rank. Class Skills All classes have one or two inherent skills. They can be found on the typemoon wiki, or in the profiles already created. Skill1 Rank Skill2 Rank Personal Skills All servants have Skills that represent their abilities in life. A full list of canon skills can be found on the typemoon wiki, and custom skills can be discussed. Skill1 Rank (Explanation if needed) Skill2 Rank Etc Noble Phantasms: (Note that unlike F/R you will be strictly held to the three Phantasm max of the canon system) Phantasm 1 (Rank Type) Briefly describe the phantasm here. Noble Phantasms come in several types, depending on their nature. The most common types are Anti-Unit, Anti-Army, Anti-Fortress, and Anti-Self. The types primarily describe differences in target area and power; Anti-Unit Phantasms target a single person and have lesser costs, while an Anti-Army phantasm takes more energy and spreads out over a wider area, making them less effective against individuals. Phantasm N (Rank Type) Describe every Phantasm with its own entry.
  11. I ought to hurry up with this whole Christmas avatar thing already

    1. VoidStar

Christmas avatar? Why would anyone possibly want to have one of those around this time of year?

  12. Today... Is terrible

  13. For the record, a good number of GO star ratings would be changed if people ran those servants here. EX: Kojirou would be 4* since he's a single combat-oriented Assassin and not an ASSASSINATE ALL THE THINGS Assassin
  14. Even as-is, Hervor is a perfectly good servant (in fact buffing her would be detrimental to her usefulness as it would raise her cost without boosting her effectiveness very much) She just requires setup so she can guarantee a Tyrfing hit. Similar to Gideon who basically wins the war if he uses Turmoil of the Lord's Night effectively, but it requires him to fight at least two (preferably three) other servants on his own terms (I.E. not just barging in on Arturia and Diarmuid out of the blue and winning) Effective use of a low cost servant is just as devastating as effective use of a high-cost servant. Not even including special scenarios (like being a Hassan )
  15. I think you're misunderstanding how this works, despite the fact that I already explained it like five times :/ Being a 1* is not a negative, being a 5* is not a positive (although I admit that balanced characters in terms of cost effectiveness, I.E. 3*s, may be disproportionately useful)
  16. Alright, I really don't understand what your issue is. I've already explained my reasoning, your question is answered and I'm not going to change it. There's really no point to this arguing so I'd kindly request that we stop before this gets out of hand Also, got my Caster up

[17:35:05] +Kuro von Einzbern: Mkay [17:35:32] +Kuro von Einzbern: He's 4* less because he's exceptionally strong and more because he's very versatile
  18. Other than the sword that will kill her if she can't hit her opponent. And being able to land that hit is not going to be easy. Almost any Archer or Caster wins by default, and a good majority of everything else has the tools to keep her at bay. On the flip side, it's super cheap since it has such a large physical drawback so she wouldn't have a high cost of using it EDIT: Also, let me reiterate that being 1* by no means makes a heroic spirit bad, simply means that all other things being equal, they would lose to a 2* or higher (but I believe we've long ago established that in Fate, not all other things are equal)
  19. Because she's got extremely little to her. There's not many servants who would lose to her outright* and I doubt it would take much mana to maintain her *Keep in mind that I'm basically doing this as "if these were the only two servants in the war and their masters didn't interfere in their fight, who would win?" Type thing
