  1. You're team looks pretty good, the only thing I would recommend is to use Common Candies. The level cap does not increase after defeating Samson, meaning that 4 of your 6 members will exceed the level cap early in the next episode maybe, but who knows for sure. There is a possibility of fighting a gym leader right off the bat in the next episode, but that's just my opinion.

  2. I wouldn't consider Pancham at all. I would personally go for a Makuhita. Its a very bulky Pokemon plus it evolves early too. On top of that, it wouldn't pose a problem against Kiki unlike Pancham and Scraggy, who would both struggle at that gym. I would choose either Makuhita or Scraggy. The only problem choosing Makuhita is that he would be slightly lower in level when you obtain him.

As for Noibat, you can dump him in the box if you would like, but what I did when I was about to face Kiki was to grind and level him up to lvl 48 and evolve him, then go back to the move tutor to learn some pretty great moves. Then use some common candies to lower Noivern's level back down below 45.

And for Greninja, you should keep him as a physical attacker until you get to 7th street, then I would switch him to special. His movepool is way better oriented for special attacks.

Also, get Clefairy to lvl 46 so it can learn Moonblast, then evolve it and use common candies

  3. Well, if you look below the table it says "Updated for Episode 13." That being said, my guess would be that it is something that will be available in Episodes 13 and up.

Also, I would say that it will restore ~300 HP, and considering we just got hyper potions available for purchase in-game, I wouldn't expect to see this item for sale in the next release. But that's just my opinion.

  4. Old Rod can be obtained at the very beginning of the game in the Peridot Ward in between the Name Raters house and the Train station.

Good Rod is found in Spinel Town.

Super Rod isn't in the game yet but hopefully soon.

  5. Give people time to respond. Most people that can easily fix this sort of thing do a lot of work in helping out with the production of the game and don't have all the time in the world. Double/Triple posting on the forums here isn't really like here. Regardless, to avoid situations similar to what happened with your game, I would recommend you keep all episodes of Reborn. This happened when you updated to Episode 12. So this fix was easily done by going back to Episode 11 and walking out of the cave. Here you go.

  6. I'm assuming by the term "reset" you mean that we will have no stickers upon the Episode 13, meaning that we will have to acquire any previous sticker that is still obtainable. Is this a correct assumption or is everyone going to magically have the same amount of stickers once the episode is launched?

  7. Actually you can't get the Beryl one until after Shelly, which is also when you get the first one by the Grand Stairway. You need rock smash to get the one in Beryl Cave. So you should be able to have 2 Link Stones before Kiki iirc.

  8. There are some trees that you are able to go behind that may not look like it. The first time I went through the island, I was confused. It's essentially a linear path. Any other paths lead to hidden items. Also, most of the Pokeball's you see on the island are Foongus, so it would be wise to not to mess with them. But yeah, Nickaboo's walkthrough is pretty good.

  9. It shouldn't take that long. Are you sure that it is in game, as in you are playing the game while waiting? Also changing the time on your computer won't do anything as well. Just grind or something while you wait.

If you are doing this correctly, then maybe you should upload your save file to see if it is your game that is causing the issue.

  10. I want to get Tyrunt (Can I also get Amora?)

You can get both, just make sure you keep it as a Helix Fossil and not turn it into an Omanyte. If you have the Dome Fossil, you may have to deposit in you PC, or maybe you could rearrange you items to where the Helix Fossil is before the Dome Fossil. Once you finish the first sidequest to get either Amaura or Tyrunt, I think you can trade another Helix Fossil for either Pokemon iirc.

  11. The fact that certain people who have been playing this game have more stickers than others is reason enough for her to reset them. On one save file I can access up to 7 floors I think. All this is because it was my first save file and I've had for many episode releases. On my more recent save files, I can only go the maximum 5 floors.

So to elaborate, its unfair that I, along with many other people here, have the luxury of accessing Evolution stones and such while everyone else is complaining because they can't get anything better than Vitamins which are ridiculously expensive anyways.

  12. If anyone hasn't seen Ame's video on her channel, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLZvl3YOgdY. It's relevant in what I'm talking about so you might want to watch it, if you have the time. In the video Ame is creating a map for one of the floors for Ametrine Mountain. In the video she implements places for us to Surf, use Waterfall, AND Dive. Assuming that we're visiting Ametrine Mountain next, we need to be able to use all 3 HMs so we might have to battle some more Gym Leaders.

From what I remember in the video, she talked like this area wasn't going to be in the next release. I expected to encounter this area in Episode 14 at the earliest. We may be able to travel through some of Ametrine Mountain, but I doubt all of it since it is supposed to be so big.

  13. Since Ame said all Pokemon were going to be available to get, meaning the possibility of a completed Pokedex, I would assume that special event Pokemon that we could miss out on capturing would be available by some infinite means later on in the game.

An example is Porygon. In the earlier episodes, it was a one of a kind Pokemon. You either got it or you didn't. But thanks to Episode 11, we can get an infinite amount of Porygon. That's my theory anyways.

  14. Well...if it's just like that, how are we gonna get past the event in the Tarzan Mountain? How are we gonna find Sapphira?

Rock climb is not needed to find Saphira. In fact, all rock climb sprites were added this episode. So there should be no need to use rock climb in any part of the main storyline.

  15. So there are a few times during the game where I feel like something would happen if you didn't do something earlier in the game whether its part of the storyline or not.

For instance, there is a scene at the beginning of the game where a girl with a Kricketot asks for a bug specialist, aka Shelly, to come and look at her Pokemon. What if the player doesn't activate this cut-scene and goes back to it later in the game? Will Shelly just randomly appear out of nowhere especially when she's been captured by Team Meteor in the Yureyu building?

Another scene is when Titania is talking to the Meteor grunt in North Aventurine Woods. I honestly didn't even know that scene was there until AFTER I defeated Radomus. So what happens if we don't interrupt that scene? Will Titania recognize us when we get to her house? Or will there be different dialogue pertaining to it.

If anyone has tried seeing what would happen with these two examples (or other events that are similar to these), feel free to share your thoughts or facts.

  16. That is a guide that is currently in progress that shows the locations of all items that are currently available/unavailable in the game. Because of all the items that are available, its going to take some time for the entire thing to be up to date. If you want to add to the list to help with updating, then you should post your findings there instead of making a new thread.

  17. The dark type moves were for Radomus, as well just for coverage/lack of other moves. Gallade does not really get anything else other than maybe leaf blade. There is just a lacking of good moves to replace crunch on arcanine, flygon, and night slash on gallade. Arcanine gets extreme speed, but as I said, I have a lack of heart scales.

A little off topic, but once you beat Samson, I suggest you get the Itemfinder from Route 1 if you haven't already and go around EVERYWHERE spamming that. Not only will you pick up a lot of heart scales, but also shards and other really decent items along the way.

    Back on topic,

For substitute pokemon, I have a noibat, but it's really low level. As well I have a huge power azurill. Although they could come in useful, I am trying to avoid training new pokemon, as I already had to grind all of my pokemon 10 levels to even play this update. Other things that might be useful that I have in the PC are, Abra. Abra is modest with magic guard. As well as an Eevee, which is timid with anticipation. Or I could use this:

I suggest you just still pick up a Ruflett. From what it sounds like, those Pokemon you have are no higher than Level 30, which means you are just going to hate training them more than ever. I still think you could be able to beat Samson with the team you have, but it may involve some luck and patience.

If I were you, I would start training more Pokemon now for the next release. Running with just a team of only 6 Pokemon is going to cause problems along the way. My main save file has around 15 different Pokemon all capable of being in the starting 6 granted I've had this file for over a year now.I'm not saying that you should have that many, but I've played through this game several times to know that its very important to have 2 or 3 reserves that could be useful for a given situation.

  18. I had a Gardevoir instead of a Gallade and it swept his team with Calm Mind into Psychic/Moonblast.

    Magnezone took out Hawlucha.

Noivern took out Chesnaught with Air Cutter.

Considering he can't leave the circus until he beats Samson, this wouldn't really benefit him.

Cepheus has a good point about Arcanine, you can use him for sure to lower attack, but continually switching him out will do you more harm than good.

One thing I always do when battling a gym leader is to make them waste their restoring items as soon as I can. Greninja nay be able to outspeed and seriously hurt any frail member on his team (Blaziken, Hawlucha, Mienshao). This should get him to waste his Full Restores?? if he has any remaining, allowing an easier time.

If you want to break the speed tie, then raise Mawile and your other Pokes one or two levels. The level cap doesn't increase once you defeat Samson, so just be wary of that. You can still use common candies. And as much as I hate using Cotton Candy's in battle against gym leaders, they are a Max Revive.

  19. I know for a fact it works after you beat Noel, so I'm assuming that it shouldn't matter how many badges you have as long as you taken care of the pulse Abra. I also think you have to step on a certain tile (within a 5 or 6 step radius from her) when she is sitting on the bench outside of the POkemon center in Spinel town. Just make sure that it's a clear day so she appears and just walk around in front of her until she teleports. Then you can find her in the forest.

  20. For starters, Mawile is of no use in this fight considering everything on Samson's team probably takes him out in one hit. Also, half of Galvantula's moves are no help here either. (i'd recommend getting rid of cut for something else once you beat Samson).

    Anyways...

Gallade is definitely your best bet for this fight. It's speed and attack power are very beneficial. You want to keep him healthy no matter what. Buy some Cotton candy from one of the vendors at the circus just in case. You can use Mawile as a sacrifice to revive Gallade if need be since it has no real role in this fight.

Samson was pretty easy for me on my first go because I managed to sweep his entire team with Gallade. I used Swords dance on the first turn. I also want to think that Hariyama used knock off, which boosted my attack once more with Justified. From there, I pretty much destroyed everything. His Hawlucha is definitely a threat, but I was able to live one attack.

Might I also suggest picking up a Ruflett from Route 2 and training it into a Braviary. Sure, it's part Normal type, but it is still part flying. Plus it has a pretty decent movepool as well as abilities.
