I was going to make an account just to highlight this, since I discovered the exact same thing, but then I noticed that I was still logged in to the account that I made in January 2014, back when I played Reborn.
Anyways, I doubt this is supposed to be possible, since there are people chilling outside in the green fog in the southern part of West Gearen. Plus all that stuff Mr./Mrs. Memelord69 described.
Anyhow, let me continue my playthrough and see what Melia and Venam are up to back in the sewers (the place I was supposed to go)...
