I agree, but just make it a casual thing (no reward etc.), and make it clear that those who enter might end up facing perfect stat speed boost blazikens and the like.
Think of it more as a series of exhibition matches than an actual tourney.

How exactly does Wondertrade work? Does it have to be done at the same time, or is a mon 'stored' somewhere till someone else comes along?

I tend to replace a lot of Reborns soundtrack with other music (i.e. I replace the Gym theme with the Kanto gym theme). I'm assuming that the music thing will still work (can't think of a reason why it wouldn't)?

Imo there should be some sort of ACTUAL REBORN tournament, to celebrate the online gameplay.

Basically your character comes to collect gym badges but that quickly falls to a background concern because the gym leaders keep escaping and killing themselves before they give you your rewards
Also there's a city-wide conspiracy involving a secret society, a cult, a failed corporation, and an insane asylum
You keep having to save children but morale dwindles as they grow progressively less grateful and useful to your original goals
Eventually you just breed for shinies and EVs because it's easier than dealing with fictional characters' daddy issues
You forgot to add that most of the 'villains' are more likeable than the coalition of psychopaths and murderers that you're forced to work with on the 'good' side.

I'd take Hiker's gym guide with a pretty big punch of salt - it REALLY depends on your team. For example, Noel was kinda hard for me, Charlotte was average, and I 6-0d Ciel.
(That said, it's still a good guide, but a leader can be completely flipped in difficulty level if you have an unusual team)

Depends on your playstyle and the stats of the Noibat - you need to remember that with the wrong nature and poor IVs, Noibat is crippled.

Don't be afraid to pick up a certain mon for a single Gym Battle and then box it forever - for example, Trubbish with Toxic Spikes can be useful against the second Gym Leader.
Reborn has common candies, that reduce a Pokémons level by one - don't be afraid to overlevel a Pokémon to evolve it, and then use common candies to lower it's level for a Gym Battle.
I'd also recommend getting a Noibat early on (you can get them around level 15, shortly after the first Gym). They have a good movepool, and have decent typing.
Get something with Detiny Bond, or a Ghost type with Curse (Duskull). They can help in defeating some strong singular opponents that guard event Pokémon (Like the Magnezone guarding Drought Vulpix).
Lastly, money is in short supply in this game. If you want to catch a certain Pokémon and you use too many Pokéballs - reset - those things don't grow on trees!
(Also, avoid the Game Corner - the prizes have been nerfed into uselessness)

You can get them by mining, which is farmable. They're also sold on the highest floors of the department store.

I really hope that Titania and/or Saphira die. They're just murderers in my book. I hate the fact that I'm supposed to work together with them when I'd rather just hand them over to Meteor.

Misdreavus would rock as an early game mon imo. By the time you get it now it's outclassed.

Hey, at least you still have Blaziken, Gyarados and Gengar ,so you can still smash through pretty much anything in the game. So you got that going for you, which is nice (please read that in Bill Murray's voice).
Some of us didn't even get to meet Magikarp or Gastly after all...

So after my hard drive got smashed to bits and I lost all my old data, I managed to recover an old save file....The problem is, out of the many mons I had in rotation, I've lost half of them.
Even though I've gone past where I was up to before (just after beating Terra), and I've finished the current content, it still feels like half my pets died (ok, not quite, but still).
Anything like this ever happen to anyone else?
For the record, Blaziken, Ninetales, Magmortar, Gyarados, Crobat, Gengar, Avalugg survived.
Flygon became a Trapinch, Tyhplosion became an Egg, Emboar became a Pignite, Dusknoir became a Dusclops, and Porygon Z became a Porygon 2.
Rapidash, Noivern, Houndoom, Chandelure, Typhlosion, Arcanine, and Infernape were all lost to the Abyss. =(

Thanks to the rest of Avalon for a great experience. I was honoured and proud to serve as your leader. We just ran out of steam halfway through when we had a bunch of people go inactive, and we had a few key battles screw us over horribly with hax. Nevertheless, we did great. With luck, we can keep the group going even now that nations is ending. Meeting a bunch of new people was a great experience.
Thanks to the committee for running this - I know from experience it isn't easy.
Everyone else - you all did good too.
