You could try Cheat Engine, but you'd likely have to find the codes yourself.

I commonly use potions because I want a Pokemon to stay in so that they can earn the EXP, but also so I don't have to grind other Pokemon to make a perfect team, and this is early on. :B I also feel more shame in a fainted Pokemon than a healed one, probably because I feel any kind of dying is... Worse. Hard to say.
