IB is a giant ass-pain because you'd better love doing work and not having free time and stressing about all sorts of projects due.

Okay getting straight As in regular classes vs AP you will still get scholarships. Personally though I LOVED community college. I did go to a bit fancier one though. It was a good start for me. There was no way I was ready to move out. Even with scholarships unless you get a full ride it probably would still cost more. In the end AP just means lots of unnecessary stress and work.

Community college is a lot easier too. It is like free As. But you really have to keep track of your own crap. I accidentally took classes I didn't need and didn't transfer since I was clueless. I was the first gen to go to college @_@ changing my major a few times didn't help. I'm going to be in college for forever ;-;
