Man, that's still pretty lucky to get a shiny though. My Carvanha wasn't shiny and had a terrible nature, so I can't really use it for my team.

You can only find it during the morning and day. It could take awhile since the encounteer chance is around 20% so be patient and soon you'll get yourself a awesome bird.

you don't have to necessarily start over from scratch, You can just rename your current save file to anything other than "Game", then start a new game and alternate back and forth between them whenever you want simply by swapping the names so that one is named "Game" and the other is named something else.
so you can still start over to see what's new and changed (Which is alot between ep9 and 12), while at the same time not having to throw away all the work you've already put in in your current playthrough

I'd switch it for sandslash because they are both ground types. If you switch it for pachirisu then you would have too much weakness to water. But it's up to you and how things are working for you.

I've made a note to write in something better for beating the Garchomp. I didn't actually anticipate more than a couple people would already. Y'all like to prove me wrong on things.
Just a little question while you're talking about changing pokemon. Can you change the medicham's move from hi jump kick to something else? (wasteland medicham) I think it's a bit too easy to beat. you can just use protect or a ghost type to beat it soo easily. I wanted more of a challenge from it since it was so high leveled.

Didn't think I'd see Smite on Reborn, but its great to see it.
I like putting Soul Reaver on Athena with Poly because it works great with her combos. I'll always stick with Ymir even though I've been seeing less of him. He has a great kit, and can do a lot of damage. I personally hate Bell though because she is everywhere and she does so much damage even as a tank. Can't go a game anymore, even in assault, without seeing an enemy Bell pop up and completely run through our team :/
