  1. AVERAGE JOES - Weatherless OU

    649.gif232.gif593.gif198.gif286.gif579.gif

At a Glance: This is one of my favorite teams as of yet; a completely weatherless, standard team, made up of what must be my favorite Pokemon available to the Overused tier. You may note the lack of an actual quick attacker, and four 'tanky' pokemon. Using a heavily defensive team is core to my playstyle, and I wouldn't have it any other way. However, I'm a noob. I acknowledge that I am a noob. Any constructive criticism is MORE THAN WELCOME.

    Now, without further adieu...

    649.gif@ Choice Scarf

    Trait: Download

    EVs: 116 Atk / 140 SAtk / 252 Spd

    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)

    - U-turn

    - Ice Beam

    - Thunderbolt

    - Flamethrower

GENESECT: You all know and love him. As one of the single best leads in the entire game, the coverage that this monster provides is astounding. Genesect alone can work as a sweeper late game, and an exceptionally speedy scout early game. Stab U-turn, coming off of his attack given the current EVs and the +1 boost from Download, packs a massive punch and is sure to dent anything that doesn't resist bug. I commonly find it to do around 50%-60% of most leads I find in the tier. He works as an excellent revenge killer.

    232.gif @ Leftovers

    Trait: Sturdeh

    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd

    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    - Rapid Spin

    - Earthquake

    - Stone Edge

    - Ice Shard

DONPHAN: With ears that large, I fail to see how such a magnificent creature does not have access to fly. This set is your standard offensive Spinner; Rapid Spin for removing those pesky hazards, Edgequake for insanely good coverage and damage coming off of base 372 ATK. Ice Shard is necessary as it quickly disposes of Dragon-type sweepers. Donphan is able to stop +1 Dragon Dance Dragonite after breaking Multiscale easily with Priority Ice Shard. While offensive, Donphan also has many chances to switch into common physical attacks thanks to his awesome bulk and retaliate.

    593.gif @ Leftovers

    Trait: Water Absorb

    EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spd

    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Scald

    - Will-O-Wisp

    - Recover

    - Taunt

JELLICENT: Otherwise known as the 'bane of everything that has any sort of hope to sweep physically', Jellicent remains to be my go-to-bro for spongeing attacks. Will-O-Wisp paired with Scald may confuse you, but the damage coming off of Scald on a switch-in is heavily appreciated; burning the foe off of that, even moreso. Taunt, paired with the speed EVs given, allows him to outwall other walls and cripple them with taunt, allowing for a free burn on the switchout.

    198.gif @ Eviolite

    Trait: Prankster

    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef

    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

    - Haze (crep)

    - Taunt

    - Roost

    - Brave Bird

ANTI-CREP: As a player of Reborn, I have both come to respect and absolutely hate crep. After years of testing, I have discovered that Murkrow is and always will be the ultimate crep counter. Dark resists his pokemon's psychic arsenal, whereas STAB Brave Bird will take down one of his passers. Priority taunt and Haze laugh at attempts to set up, and STAB Brave Bird from this monster hurts like a mother.

In actuallity, utility Murkrow isn't as bad as it looks. She's a hard-reset if I'm having trouble with sweepers. She almost always wins one on one with pokemon such as Volcarona. With luck on your side, she can also take down othes like Terrakion, who never appreciates STAB Brave Bird, and Technician Breloom, who is unable to Spore or set up thanks to priority taunt.

    286.gif @ Life Orb

    Trait: Technician

    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

    - Substitute

    - Mach Punch

    - Bullet Seed

    - Spore

BRELOOM: Personally, I think that this pokemon is the star of our Weatherless OU tier. Sporting massive attack and technician boosted moves, literally anything this Pokemon fires off will hurt. He remains my premier physical attacker. Switch into a counter, substitute, spore, and fire off fun punches. Good times.

    579.gif @ Leftovers

    Trait: Magic Guard

    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef

    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Calm Mind

    - Recover

    - Psychic

    - Hidden Power [Fighting]

REUNICLUS: One of my favorite pokemon to date. Outstanding bulk means that he can set up multiple Calm Minds, and recover allows him to gain HP back with impunity. Psychic/Fighting makes for an amazing combo. I always prefer Hidden Power Fighting over Focus Blast. Reason? After a few Calm Minds, base power won't matter, as you'll be using it because it's Super Effective anyways. I have trouble trying to decide between Psychic and Psyshock; both are quite good, and one hits Blissey.

It should be noted that this set is laughed at by Spiritomb. Always.

    Genesect @ Choice Scarf

    Trait: Download

    EVs: 116 Atk / 140 SAtk / 252 Spd

    Hasty Nature (+Spd, -Def)

    - U-turn

    - Ice Beam

    - Flamethrower

    (Donphan) (M) @ Leftovers

    Trait: Sturdy

    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd

    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

    - Rapid Spin

    - Earthquake

    - Stone Edge

    - Ice Shard

    (Jellicent) (M) @ Leftovers

    Trait: Water Absorb

    EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spd

    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Scald

    - Will-O-Wisp

    - Recover

    - Taunt

    (Murkrow) (M) @ Eviolite

    Trait: Prankster

    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef

    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

    - Haze

    - Taunt

    - Roost

    - Brave Bird

    (Breloom) (M) @ Life Orb

    Trait: Technician

    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd

    Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

    - Substitute

    - Mach Punch

    - Bullet Seed

    - Spore

    (Reuniclus) (F) @ Leftovers

    Trait: Magic Guard

    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef

    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

    - Calm Mind

    - Recover

    - Psychic

I love Reborn! I feel terrified about being a Flaafy; it's shocking how pink and soft my skin is now. It does look cute. Oh, and all of it.
