    hi my save file is of older version and when i try toload it in new version its giving exception error

      There's certain locations and points in the story where you aren't supposed to upgrade versions. Load the save file in the old version and go to a safe location/play the story until a safe point to upgrade. I believe that the first 9 chapters aren't safe for upgrading. If you're far enough in the story, try saving in the GDC apartment before upgrading.
