as far as noibat goes it takes too long to evolve and i tend to like tanky mons in this game turtwig is not bad in the first gym i also just beat the gym on the first try with a contrary servine.

Numel can be obtained under regular rain. Not sure when this was posted but now it's just regular rain and i saw it and offered it snax then it join im confident it wasnt storming when I got it. Maybe there are bugs to it but i never had a problem with it.
