Changing with the Seasons

What it does: Makes the season Pokémon, Sawsbuck & Deerling, actually change with the seasons (wild & caught) (Except near the peaks of the snow mountains on Route 4, where all wild Sawsbucks will be found in Winter Form regardless of the season).

 

Why? Because I found it bothersome that a Pokémon that's supposed to shift with the seasons never does once caught, and even in the wild only shifts between summer and spring.

 

 

Note: If you only want wild Sawsbucks & Deerlings to change form, only place "Battler.rb" in your mod directory.

Just out of curiosity, how does this mod specifically work?  Is it like gen 5 where each month has it's own dedicated season, does it mirror our actual calendar with seasons, or is it based on weather and/or location in-game?

A little of both, all Sawsbuck & Deerlings' forms will mirror the actual calendar season, except Sawsbuck and Deerling found near the top half of Route 4 will be Winter Form (I also intended Rodochrine Jungle Deerling and Sawsbuck to stay in Spring/Summer forms, but they don't spawn there),

 

Might make a gen 5 style seasons mod later with a variant of this mod to go with it, along with map variants for the seasons (or just make seasonal map variations for the mod in general), but I'm not sure yet.
