Pumpkaboo cemetery event not working

I can't get pumpkaboo to show up in beryl cemetery. I'm pretty sure i have everything right, i have the soul candle, it's night time and ive beaten corey. do i have to interact with a specific pumpkin? im pretty sure ive interacted with all of them but i could be missing one

Any pumpkin should work as long as you have a Soul Candle in the bag. I think the only explanation is that it wasn't actually night-time but just evening.
