To be fair, you...you like in the UK, right? Well, the fact that you're an island nation means the weather is a lot milder then here in the technically-next to the Baltic Sea-but still mostly landlocked Lithuania. Granted, our weather is still hovering around 0 degrees Celcius, but hey, we already had more snow then all of last year's winter :v

Hey, at least you have the ocean to moderate your temperatures somewhat when you get closer to the coast. Over in Syracuse, we have no such luck; the closest sizeable body of water we have is an average-sized lake. And the fact that we've got an even larger body of water upwind of us in the form of the Great Lakes means that we get hammered by snow every winter.

Well, it is milder near the coast, yeah, by a few degrees. The rest of the country? Yeah. At least, like I said, I personally don't mind.
