Where to farm at Calcaneon city ?

Hi,

 

Currently at Charlotte Gym, i would like to train a wailord to survive first round and cast rain dance (no way to outspeed them, typhlosion speed seems ahead of everything i have, including my 215 speed manectric). However i can't find a way to farm levels. It seems i can't get back to the circus where the clown giving candys is. Any ideas how to efficiently get levels up to 70 for a poor lvl 54 wailord ?

IIRC you can go back to the circus by going to the right exit of calcenon, then go through the meteor base at route 3. Just a little tedious to backtrack though

Thanks for your answer, i tried previously but somehow could not find the way back at some point of the destroyed bridge. Will check it out again
